Preparation:
1. Wear hiking shoes with excellent rubber grip soles with heavy tread.
Dress comfortable and have a light back pack.
2. Bring a minimum of 32 ounces of water and trail snacks, carbs and high energy calories. Maybe even an energy supplement and electrolytes for your water.
3.Download trail navigation from All Trails, keeping you aware of the main trail, yet follow this videos advice to avoid danger from and overgrown and neglected trail. The navigation does not let you know the safest route, its a loop trail, we found the safest turns and easiest route for this adventure!
4. Set up your emergency contacts before heading to this trail and let your friends and family know where you are going and when. (Just to be wise and safe)
5. Charge all your gear and phones for awesome photo and video opportunities and to keep your ability to contact people, just incase.

Heidi does use them often yet in this climb she needed her hands, it’s steeper than it looks and loose gravel. If you go, avoid hot weather, we climbed it in 50 degrees

How long is the whole hike?

Hi, how are you ? Hope all is well with you, 1.7 miles to the cave only and 1.9 if you include the peak, we went way around the cave instead of climbing down a sheer cliff so that added at least another 1.5 miles
