- Downstream at eagles nest on DPVs
Visibility was about 20-30ft but wasn't enough to get a true grasp of how big some of the rooms are.
289ft max depth, 2:30 runtime, 72* water temp - Věda a technologie
Multi-gas, trimix, rebreather, scooter, sidemount, stage dive. You really threw everything but the kitchen sink at this dive.
It can be a dangerous dive without all of the right equipment.
That’s what I am working towards….. I didn’t realize you needed deco bottles with a rebreather
Many people have lost their lives diving here. It only makes sense to take every precaution you can think of.
If you underestimate eagles nest or any cave dive for that matter and go in with the incorrect gear it can very easily kill you so ofc it's ideal to be prepared + some extra!
@@ivoryjohnson4662
You most certainly do. You cannot rely purely on the rebreather. At any point in a closed circuit dive you MUST have enough open circuit gas to get out of the water safely. We call it bailout.
Wow. It is amazing to see some of these places I will only hear about. Thanks for sharing.
Holy crap! You guys aren't fooling around down there! Great dive and great video!
I'll watch it from the safe, dry kitchen before work. As far as actually doing this for myself, I'm going to NOPE out on every level here
Exactly lol they think they are better than regular open divers because they risk their lives swimming in dangerous places. Open sea has far more beauty to look at. What do you see in these caves? Nothing but rocks..woopty frign do.
@knarftrakiul3881 it's a waiting game for how the open ocean will un-alive someone. Respect for both communities. I'm not an underwater adventurer
Why it feels so satisfying just like an ASMR? ❤
It looks like you’re flying on another planet! AMAZING footage!
They Definitely have the training for this
I love itc
I love how they go over prepared. Divine is. The only thing i am scared of.
Wow, making a video that you know dive talk or Sorensen will definitely watch. Cheers to great Men and women
This is likely beyond DTs skill/training level.
Do alligators ever make it down there? Why no fish? Such a lifeless chasm, alien but beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this.
I would only go down there with this exact equipment, plus some…
Enhorabuena!!!! Espectacular!!! Gracias x el vídeo!!!! Eso sí que es ser Aquaman!!!!😮🎉❤
actually incredible dude
For a minute there, I was worried for you... thanks for taking us with you...
Amazing footage mad skills
Looks dangerous what if you get trapped
@@Muttey2024what you think bruh
@@Muttey2024people have died in that specific cave system before, actually. Mostly people who were undertrained or underprepared. I believe they require divers to be fully cave certified, fully trimix certified, and have 100 successful cave dives under their belt to be allowed to dive Eagle’s Nest.
Great dive 🎉
free dove this spot to 92 feet so far. love it.
Thanks so much not as intimidating as I thought at least you made it. Look that way. Stay safe.
Thats badass!
Mano amo de verdade assistir vídeos assim. Esse tipo de atividade ou esporte aquático é magnífico, extraordinário e excepcional. Nossa é incrível e de tirar o fôlego. As imagens e o cenário do lugar dispensa comentários. Um grande abraço daqui do Brasil. São Paulo. Nelson 👏.
Perfection on frog kicking
😮😮😮 Meu Deus como é lindo, parabéns pela coragem....
i love the humming 😅
I can't see the sign board
I saw it at like 9:49
Wow those scooters are fast as hell I wonder if rescue divers use them
There are no rescues really only body recoveries
@@valgo8128 I think Edd Sorenson might disagree. But then again he says the same thing while rescuing lost divers. lol
@@KaikanoSei its incredibly rare and alot of luck is involved.
The point in making is there is no point in rescue divers as you are normally just dead
Edd isnt the only person to make a rescue.
Its just super rare.
@@valgo8128 Totally agree. Even Edd says he's more likely to pull a body than a live person. Really sad but true.
I think the worst story was about the dad who brought his 15 year old son here and they both died. Because they were inexperienced and under-equipped. Scary world
Increíble!!!!! 😮😮😮❤
Hopefully soon I'll be diving here weekly
Nice!
How did they get in the water with all those cylinders on them
Like how do you walk
You clip them on once you're in the water. There's a small set of stairs with rope down each handrail to clip the bottles to in the water, and then you slowly attach them one by one in the appropriate spot until you're all set up and ready to scoot off to the cave entrance.
That guy makes it look way to easy!!!
Please always be safe 🙏
can i use this as a videoclip for music? can i have the permision or could i be sued if it do it anyway?
Just link back to this original video please.
For a second I could have sworn I heard a lullaby tune when they were going through the restriction
Looks dangerous what if you get trapped
At first I thought the DPV sound was someone groaning :D
Stuff sounds so weird underwater.
Cool dive bro
I know next to nothing about scuba but are rebreathers really that quiet? Seems so peaceful!
They really are that quiet.
so many people have died in this cave like 400 people... its super dangerous. theres even a sign that has a grim reaper and says STOP you will die entering beyond this point if you are not a professional cave diver.. it literally says you WILL die and people still enter
@@alphazero6571 I've spent approximately 3 years and $30,000 in training and gear to be able to do this type of diving.
@@whitrzac yeah im talking about open water divers going in there but even really good trained divers have died in there unfortunately.
Stay safe and remember if you have second thoughts or doubts about a dive its always best to stop until you feel 100% confident of your skills.
Remember that Eagles nest is ranked as one of the most dangerous caves in the planet to dive for a reason.
@@alphazero6571I dk if 400 is correct
9:00 that was hearing stop
Dillon and Darren Spivey
what do the numbers on the tanks mean or identify? *Not a diver* just enjoy watching this kind of stuff
Diver here! different markings on the tanks can mean different things, but generally you’ll see things like the maximum pressure a tank can be filled to (for example, “AL 3000” would mean it’s an aluminum tank and it fills up to 3,000 psi), a serial number, usually a sticker with the month and year it was last tested, and the manufacturer.
The max depth in feet the gas in the tank is breathable at.
Humans belong in cars on the freeway?
A helmet would be a good item to have
Helmets aren't needed on most dives unless you're unaware of you're surroundings.
9:45 Grim reaper sign
So, why are you doing this? Risking your life for almost nothing (just to see some rocks?). Many experienced divers died before. Sorry, I prefer other Hobbys.
There absolutely no reason whatsoever to do this. What's the point?!?! There is none. How does this make the world a better place? It doesn't.
its a purely selfish action and the only reason to do it is to feel alive in the risk but more for the experience of the dive. Like free soloing a cliff its just what some people want to do pushing the limits of safety.
could say the same thing about many things people do for fun. how does you whining about it make the world a better place?
Risking your life driving your car on the way to see friends make the world a better place?
@Summer Apart from the fact sediment samples and water samples deep in Florida caves (where this is) have yielded critically important data about the aquifer and ecology of the surrounding area.
Research for one.
Looks pretty easy gonna go try this ive done snorkeling a couple of times shud be good right just follow the line down n back up? Was planning on going alone any advice?
