Thanks for taking us along. Even though we are local, we’ve never been there. The outside of the building has scared us away. I also saw a video from the SMOKY MOUNTAIN FAMILY during the pandemic and it looked like it was run by a dictatorship. I’m glad to see that they have lightened up and that the food was so good. I think we’ll have to give it a try. This week we are going to the Peddler for the first time!✌️
The outside does look somewhat uninviting, but the food was really good and the Delauder's family was so nice and they all came up to our table and cut up with the boys, as if we were regulars. We will have to go back and watch SMF's video on this place to see what happened. We hope that you have a great meal at the Peddler this week. We enjoy the chicken more than the steak at the Peddler and their salad bar is excellent. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Tim.
This is one of the best BBQ places in Gatlinburg, we eat here whenever we get to town. The owner and his family are extremely down-to-earth.

I am one of those people who always want to order the sausage at a bbq joint :)
The mac and cheese had tobasco sauce mixed in with it and the owners said that it's an acquired taste, but Gentry was all about it. You can never go wrong with order sausage at a BBQ joint. Love the mom's and pop's. The sides looked better than the Que. A mustard based potato salad that is up Slick Pig standards means they are doing something well.

We just stayed in a cabin behind Gatlinburg Pittman center just a few minutes from there. Just left this morning. Wish we would’ve tried this out. Well give it a try on another trip. We’ve been looking for a different bbq place. We have been to most in the area.
We hope that you had a great trip to the mountains! It doesn't look extremely inviting from the outside and even on the inside, it looks like an old antique store with some tables and chairs. It’s very work intensive for a rib festival……. Costs a ton… most end after a few years. Try Big daddy’s pizza in Pigeon Forge…. Soooo good hardwood fired pizza
We’re big fans of Big Daddy’s. We agree - it’s great and it’s consistent every time that we visit there.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV they do a 48 hour proofing of pizza dough and use a pizza dough starter…. They are doing it right!
Green beans are not good unless cooked with onions and bacon.
