Have you heard of the Victorville Film Archives? You should get in touch with Gregg Turkington, founder and curator of the former mentioned. I highly suggest it.
On a more serious note, love the videos and hearing your insights on so many topics that I also am interested in. It’s also awesome and refreshing to see people of indigenous backgrounds get in front of the camera and speak on things other than social injustice, which is very important as well, but it’s also cool to see this side of people who identify as indigenous. It’s inspiring, at least for me.
    Keep on paddling, bro!
    Aloha nō!

It's just as Christopher Nolan said... Without physical media, stuff would just make the rounds on streaming then get shuffled into obscurity once it is no longer being streamed. I still think companies like Netflix, Vudu, etc are going to start deleting things that don't get any streams in order to save on data center costs. And all this is going to lead to these companies spending less to make something, will take no changes on unknown filmmakers. It will be like music. Everything is formulaic now, makes the rounds on the radio then you never hear it again.

    Good video!
A24:s success has nothing to do with the physical media. Smaller indie studios cannot put everything on big franchises. There is enough money to be made in the niches for someone like A24. They make smaller movies for grown ups unlike big studios. Even a mid budget film like Civil War is too much of a gamble for a big studio, but with the marketing of A24 it will make good money.
