I am from Brazil and I was in Bray in 2011 for a language interchange when Paddy sang in the city Summer Festival and since then his music became a symbol of this wonderful and magical experience I had visiting another country for the first time. There are so many emotions in his voice and songs that it brings me the best of Ireland, I can't even tell how much it is remarkable to me. Maybe the most touching music of my life. Ireland is great!!!
Gonna be honest lads, I forgot this song even existed for a long time. I was having a rough day today and out of nowhere CZcams recommend it to me. Exactly the song I needed today, haven't heard it since I was a child.
Met Paddy at the Scariff Harbour Festival. He stood for some photos with us at the end. A really, nice, friendly man. Am a fan of Paddy's years, sent his albums to family in London, who also loved Paddy. Would love to see more of Paddy's music!
Absolutely Irish music is amazing. I’m Irish and I’m sooooo proud of beautiful Irish people making music like this. I love all my fellow country men and women, I’m so proud of us all. I love you all so much ❤️
Do you mean Paddy ? and why do you think is is Irish, its just great music, not sure why it identifies with something, maybe Mozart was definitely Austrian, or the Beatles definitely English, not sure.
First time I heard this song was during English class in Brazil. We had to fill the blank spaces on the lyrics and it was quite a challenge to understand his accent lol here I am, some good 18 years later, living in Canada and the lyrics bring some relief and comfort to some blank spaces in my life…
Grew up with paddy , nice fella and nice family, use to see him get the bus into dublin city to busk on a saturday, great voice and genuine down to earth bloke👍
I saw him playing this song in Swords castle ages ago. The crowd was singing it but I'm not irish so i didn't know him. Loved this song from the first time I've heard it. Then the other day heard it in a pub after a long time, got stuck in my head and here i am
Probably Ireland's best kept secret, a very, very talented young man who is well deserving of a much wider audience. Great albums, great songs, only complaint is that some of his material is over produced, would sound better stripped down. Great stuff.
It's songs like this and others from artists like Snow Patrol, Republic of Loose and Mundy that really make me believe Ireland had one of the best noughties music cultures
I love this song despite the negative vibes that Sony BMG dished on me shortly after I filmed Paddy Casey in a local record store here in Derry back in 2006. All the very best wishes with the new album and tours Paddy. Lugh :)
Often people just hear the music they are told is good! Paddy Casey is very talented but unfortunately the music business can leave people like Paddy behind!
When I was younger, my granny and I would listen to this song. She had a stroke in 2006. I played to to her in the hospital. I played it to her a while back, and she doesn't remember it.
I love you paddy Casey! You’re a god send! This song is a gift from heaven and Jesus Christ himself! I greatly appreciate you and wish your family well! God bless you!
Anyone can loose it all Anyone can loose it all If you don't heed your warnings call Anyone can loose it all Anyone can make a mess Anyone can make a mess Just take so much and make it less Anyone can make a mess When you got time And streets making saints and sinners Ink on sheets makin' losers and winners Well, it's not what your dreams should be Anyone can be a saint Well, anyone can be a saint Well, you just forget that you ain't Well, we can go and be a saint Anyone can be a star Well, anyone can be a star We'll just get in your car And we can go and be a star When you got time And streets making saints and sinners Ink on sheets makin' losers and winners Well, it's not what your dreams should be You know I wish we had more time You know I wish we had more time You know I think it was a crime The things we waste trying to not waste our time When you got time And streets making ends for beginners Shuffling feets on these losers and winners Well, it's not what your dreams should be
The thing is when you had nothing to lose, and suddenly Christ reveals Himself and the truth to you. you always must ask why? And then He tells you but never forget that people won't believe you and the world is juddged already. So my advice to Patrick here is be very careful because Christ Is ready to judge the world but the world is not ready to be judged// God bless you//
Balsham91 dogs shite has a type of fallen purpose but not in an eternal sense. whereas my understanding given by God to me is very relevant. But i am sure at some point you certainly will see the difference between the two// God bless you//
Paddy Irish man, Paddy English man and Paddy Scottish man walk into a bar. Paddy Irish man gets on stage with his guitar and steals everyone's hearts. This Paddy Irish man was Paddy Casey. Tiocfaidh ár lá.

I love this song despite the negative vibes that Sony BMG dished on me shortly after I filmed Paddy Casey in a local record store here in Derry back in 2006. All the very best wishes with the new album and tours Paddy.

Anyone can loose it all
Anyone can loose it all
If you don't heed your warnings call
Anyone can loose it all
Anyone can make a mess
Anyone can make a mess
Just take so much and make it less
Anyone can make a mess
When you got time
And streets making saints and sinners
Ink on sheets makin' losers and winners
Well, it's not what your dreams should be
Anyone can be a saint
Well, anyone can be a saint
Well, you just forget that you ain't
Well, we can go and be a saint
Anyone can be a star
Well, anyone can be a star
We'll just get in your car
And we can go and be a star
When you got time
And streets making saints and sinners
Ink on sheets makin' losers and winners
Well, it's not what your dreams should be
You know I wish we had more time
You know I wish we had more time
You know I think it was a crime
The things we waste trying to not waste our time
When you got time
And streets making ends for beginners
Shuffling feets on these losers and winners
Well, it's not what your dreams should be
A natural man
Lifts the soul 😊
