Yes, and there’s all sorts of specific stuff like a brewing stand and an wonder man in a boat. But nothing works.
The first part could be a maze with no exit and when they think its impossible you end up having to teleporting them to the next challenge

I imagine a world full of buttons, TNT, chickens, and incomplete backs of structures.

Invite you're friends on and don't talk to them. Guide them through building a simple hut. The one who has the most patience win. Once the hut has been finished and livable, you may talk. If they rage quit, they loose.
I feel like they would just assume it’s an audio issue. Like that premise relies on them knowing the audio does work, but then they automatically know he’s doing it on purpose
Have each of your friends build a house, and tell them there will be a winner. But don't tell them how the winner will be determined. Base the winner off whether they use a specific block, whether a common block (e.g. oak, therefore determine by most number used in the build) or a random one (e.g. slime).
Top Comment Idea: Get your friends in a new survival world and you narrate their gameplay. (they have to be different worlds and not the same)

Use an autotune filter on a really low level and slowly increase the intensity until your friends notice

give your friends a custom texture pack that changes the way blocks look, and see how long till they realise. For example an oak tree to spruce and the ocean to look like the beta version.

I think you should get Tango to teach you how to make something with redstone. I don’t really care what so long as it's at least mildly complicated

You get your friends to play minecraft, but every minute something changes. Say like wet sponge doesn't dry in the nether, or you can only use iron axes to strip wood.
Install the hardest minecraft mod and invite your friends to join along. The person with the most deaths has to do a dare or something

You should invite them to a server and tell each of them to build a house and spawn lots of something and see if they would notice (example: chickens, cats, creepers, e.c.t)🎉
Download an adventure map which has a story of sorts, but change things in it on creative mode to make it have references to your friends. Have them join and see how long it takes for them to notice.

Have a divider between each of your friends so they can’t see what the other is building. The first person has to build something and then describe what they are doing to the next person. Then that person builds what was described and then describes there build to the next person and so on. Then at the end you can invite them all back to see how the build changes as it goes through each person!

Try to survive in the nether for 5 Minecraft in game days with only low durability leather armor and all the food you get to have to fill hunger is rotten flesh and poisonous potatoes, and you can’t use ur nether portal that led you into the nether to get back to the overworld, you have to find a ruined portal and light it with flint only, you have to try hay bale clutching when having to jump from high place and u can’t use boats or powdered snow. This doesn’t make much of a difference, but it wouldn’t change for each individual block. It would be for each type of block, for example, all oak logs have the same random pixel changed to Green, and the same thing (but obviously still random) will happen to every block
