Krallice have become my new favorite band, every record is unique, loving this one. 🤘
Krallice perfected post metal
What a pleasant surprise to wake up to…
36:54 Gave me goosebumps
Krallice album called Dimesnional SPEEDTHROUGH where they play all blackened speed metal for 33 minutes while drunk
The world would be a better place with more albums like PRA and Dodheimsgard's last album
My god, this is amazing!
Just starting to listen and feeling 80's vibes
3080’s
Yesss, thanks, Colin
I knew I had a reason to stay awake tonight. Thanks colin!
as majestic & triumphant sounding as Krallice has ever been.
Ehhh, still no where near bleedthrough levels though
My god at some point the drums are wicked , somehow jazzy , dark and technique
Did Krallice just release a prog fusion record? Wow I love this so much.
My soul returned from my body today. I can sleep happilly knowing this exists in this timeline.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HELL YES!!! How the shit do you mob manage a Zarach'Baal'Tharaghian release schedule while maintaining Weakling's quality level?
I'll be damned if this isn't the perfect soundtrack to a Scorpio Full Moon (take *that*, Limbonic Art) - such massive, magnificent, mellifluous moods 💖 Thanks so much Colin (et al), hope you're even half as stoked with it as I am - shredderrrrrrs!
just amazing. i dont know how you guys keep doing it
Great album! an Angelo Badalamenti atmosphere
Did not see that coming, but keep it up guys!
Dang! I most certainly did not expect the in-your-face analog! Love it! Next level shit.
Cheers from Colombia! Always glad to listen to new material from you guys, always a new journey. Thanks for putting it out there.
The experiments with retrowave here are actually united with the standard song- or pop- or metal- composition method. Hear there an old Krallice.
this whole thing was beautiful, guys. so stoked to listen to it more. great work as always
I think there actually are vocals on this. They're just the quietest thing ever. Like we're only hearing the reverb tails.
I've been picking that up too. That or tastefully placed wailing. Voice as an instrument
Yeah, I can't unnoticed it now. It's actually sick as fuck if what we are hearing is correct.
It seems you are right! I caught a glimpse of something between 31:02 ~ 31:10
6:05 is so sick. I love it.
Effectivement
Another masterpiece from Krallice 👏👏👏
Sweetness in the brainess
lovely
35:58 for a quick minute I thought this was a cover Pink Floyd’s celestial voices (saucerful of secrets)
Vous avez de l’esprit et de la culture musicale
LET’S GOOOOOOOO
Beautiful
Haha - totally inspiring IIIIIII Thanks again IIIIIII
Another banger
very well done guys. see you again in six months
Good morning 🌞
crucial dope
OMG
If you guys made a poster of the album cover, I'd very buy it..
..and I think this is the most solid thing you've released (saying a lot).
of course...
The 33s...
The synth parts on this record resemble the Klaus Schultz and Tangerine Dream sounds, but I've noticed that they are remarkably similar to an obscure English new age synth player Mike Brooks, who recorded and performed in the 80's, particularly to his albums "Passage of Time" and "Realms of Darkness". I wonder if Colin actually might have been inspired by Mr. Brooks
i prefer Mel Brooks... but seriously folks, thanks for the recommendation. checking mike brooks now and sounds cool!
@@ColinMarstonOmnisound I'd rather fancy Mel Tormé over Mel Brooks, but yeah, Mike Brooks slaps, glad you liked it)
Quelle culture musicale vous avez
black metal hotline miami lol. krallice rules
YES
Porous Resonance Abyss part II is gonna be played on WAYO 104.3FM in Rochester today around 3:06pm. :)
Following it up with Link Wray's "Fire and Brimstone" lol
this goes too hard.
Within one hour, my vinyl copy of Diotima arrives AND I find out that this just dropped. Oh, and I saw Blood Incantation open for Obituary last night. Hell of a weekend 🤘🔥
We have a new album and Crystallline Exaustion hasn't even been pressed to vinyl yet??? I demand answers! Also, this is great.
I'm here because this record is not available on Spotify.
Now is. Here you go😊
Instrumental Krallice makes way more sense. Noticed only on the second listen that there are no vocals
I personally love the vocals but I think they are fairly unintrusive. Most of their material can feel like instrumentals with a few screamed incantations thrown in 😅
Im hearing vocals on 2nd track tough
@@germansalas6159 yeah there definitely are some wailings in the first section of the second track and even in the first track, but as lyrics they are totally indistinguishable. imho in terms of the way they utilize their voices the last three albums (Demonic Wealth, Crystalline Exhaustion and Psychagogue) have the best vocals in their discography, but here the music is so powerful and atmospheric that it seems that there is just not much space for the vocals to fit in
I wanna see the fucking movie!
Can we get this on Tidal, thanks
A great musical feast, visionaries, slowly moving away from black metal to ambient, it reminds me of Blood Incantation.
krallice drinks every other black metal band's milkshake up
..they drink it up!
If you buy the digital version there is a 5th track called "Far from earth". Is it a cover?, If so, does anyone knows what band it is?
Darkthrone's Earth's Last Picture
@@ferndrew6526 thank you
@@danielserratos878 It's a great song!!
El canal de amusia
I have always had a preference for "orchestral" music. I believe it has a voice louder than human speech. While every Krallice album is a journey in its own right, here they've gone above and beyond in terms of difficulty. Particularly bold, not easy to assimilate, requiring more than multiple listens.
Dominant, seductive, vintage, strange and even nightmarish keys, which at times give you the image of a planetary fall into the void. This shimmering magic, always evolving and remaining intimately distinct, is achieved by few.👍🏻🤘🏻⚡🔥💯
You mean instrumental. Orchestral means played by an orchestra.
🙂Good point, which is why I put the silences in the word. However, if someone wants a "straining at a gnat" analysis, it's not an entirely instrumental album, near the end of chapter 2, there are momentary whispered spoken vocals in the background.
Matter of fact I prefere chamber music to orchestras. You should really try, if you don't already know, the French band Corpo-Mente (side project of Igorrr), especially their live studio sessions on YT, are impecable. Take care.👍🏻
After 15 times listening to it, I can clearly say, it is their best release in a long time. These guys are pretty much doomed.
Even if they add a choir of pissed off singing crows, with theremin and French horns following in the background, they're not going to create something non-unique, and much more interesting, than the majority of other bands, at this genre.
Listening to this right now.
Didn't care for the first track, second one is rucking fetarded!!
Keys aren't working for me in the mix because they are overshadowing everything else, especially the drums.
And as soon as I typed that, the drums seemed to come up in the mix, but the keys still aren't meshing for me.
That being said, I still accept the offer to join the band.
Yeah, I agree. I don't understand Colin's taste in keyboard sounds - they sound like factory presets. Too high in the mix, too much high end, no texture, too much high end on the reverb - I don't understand it. As far as I remember the keys on Demonic Wealth sounded okay, and it sounded like that was just because there was a lot of room ambience on them. Would be so easy to fix, but still I'd much prefer it if he started from some pure waves and messed around with FM synthesis. Triangle wave with a bit of attack and some room ambience would sound much better imao.
@@charliepotter100 and that's why he's in a succesful band and you aren't. Sit down and know your place Charlie, there's a reason nobody listens to whatever garbage you make.
Idk, but we need dimensional bleedthrough era krallice back, this is kinda meh, man
I have no idea what more they could do with that sound tbh, we got 4 albums and two EP's worth - open your heart to the new stuff, Go Be Forgotten and Demonic Wealth are up their with the early stuff imo (also first listen to this one but I love it so far)
They can’t just keep making same albums because 1-2guys like it that way, they got to keep changing if they want to be engaged with what they’re making
Well given their release schedule give it a few years and they will likely evolve into something new.. perhaps resembling the early stuff.
Synth Krallice was exactly what I needed. Everything since Go Be Forgotten has been nothing but gems.
"Yeah we'd like to branch out and experiment more, but some battle jacket wearing loser who lives with his mom needs us to keep making the same shit"
