How are you just going to drop a "Mass Cathexis 2: Kinetic Boogaloo" on us with so little warning?! I need a year of nothing but meditation and squats to mentally and physically prepare for a Krallice sonic assault
I feel like this is all the weird guitar madness of Krallice on one album. Love the tones, the unconventional riffs and dissonant melodies, odd time feels. Love it. Also the last song "...And Then Erase Existence." Is so spine chilling and emotional, it almost feels like I'm witnessing the end of days and just accepting my fate.
Krallice and Panopticon drop new albums within days of each other?! Time to break out the good headphones and get immersed. @ColinMarstonOmnisound, any chance Krallice might tour a bit in 2024? I saw you with Gorguts earlier this year and it was killer, but I realllly want to see Krallice and I can't get to Saint Vitus.
Guitar work often overlaps with Enoesque avant power pop at the point that New Wave aesthetic developed, ca. 1975. This is when the band admits it may murder all of the East Village hipster elite when the time is right.
Krallice have recorded almost exclusively like that for the past 10 or so albums (since Diotima all except Demonic Wealth). There are a couple of videos on YT and Bandcamp of them recording and an alternate take of a song off of Ygg Ur....
@@joshuasmith8695 Thanx yes I love those videos. But lately theres a lot coming out with too processed plugin Kemper or Neural DSP guitar sounds, so sometimes hearing real sound can be a pleasant surprise.
"Without music, life would be a mistake."

Krallice is the GOAT GOAT band fr
The Kinetic Infinite part is amazing! thank you for this work.
Really like the kind of darkwave guitar sound and the way it goes with the synth. I wonder if Striborg would count this as Blackwave.
Good morning.
have you considered instruments that are not in 12 tone equal ? I think they could really do something in your hands
I think about this all the time. What would they do if they transcended the box of western music.

Am I hearing this right? Most or all of this was recorded live without triggers (orrr: @22:10?!) and with real amps and cabs?

they play an early version of the first section of that song live (without McMaster?) here czcams.com/video/BOHslKN3FsE/video.html from 23:43-26:15.
