Brows and Liner Tutorial

  • This week I show you how easy it is to create a very natural eyebrow using a brow pen which allows you to apply delicate hair like strokes. The pens give a very similar look to micro blading but not as permanent. I also show you how to tightline with a gel and an eyeliner pen, enhancing the eye without looking like you are wearing lots of makeup.
Let me know if you already use these techniques or have tried them and struggled. I always join in with the Beauty Chat below in the comments, so please ask away. I aim to answer as many questions as I can.

Lovely. Never really used the upper lash tight line method, always go from underneath - but I can see that it somehow lifts the eye more. Eye'll give it a go, tomorrow, lol.

Holy SMOKES! That is a beautiful look. All I've ever wanted was to be taught how to look pretty but not over done. Especially these days, we aren't really going anywhere but it's still nice to look put together. Great job! 2 thumbs up

This is so great! I'm 57 and just learning. Tightlining makes the biggest difference! I'm going to try the drier base in hopes my brow pencil won't bunch up in my pores😊 Thank you and hope you are well!

Another wonderful video Caroline! I would make one suggestion, as a person who has always had a facility with drawing, and taught art, I know that many people feel uncoordinated and have trouble even drawing a small straight line. I would suggest if you were nervous, practice drawing those small lines on the back of your hand a little bit before you go to the face

Thanks for sharing your expertise with with us. Greetings from Mexico.

Helpful video - I always tightline, but with a pencil. BTW have you tried the Beauty Pie Mascara Reviver? I bought it but hadn't used it, as I hadn't been wearing mascara, but decided to try it on bare lashes to see what it did. Its a really brilliant natural looking mascara with some color and a great rubbery brush (who knew) and for a more mature face like mine, looks great! Think it would make a wonderful no-make up mascara! I am lucky enough to have long, thick, black lashes (at 73), and with my silver hair a regular thick mascara sometimes looks odd. I know you like BeautyPie - just wondering if you had used it.

  • @taniajacobs1049

Thanks for the tips - question - can you use the gel liner to tight line the upper waterline? I use the marc Jacobs gel liners but have never used an eyeliner gel - are they the same? duh? Because my eyes water ALL the time (dry eye and allergies and remote teaching - increased screen time) my eye make up just slides off by the end of the day, so I need something that 'sticks'! I 'push' eyeshadow into the lash line and then top off with the gel liner - thinking of using the inglot instead of the eyeshadow?

Alright sister. You’re my FAVE, so I ordered this liner and brush. It came in and so tonight I was all, sure why not. I get it on, and I am FEELING IT, it looked so good! So I go to the bathroom to wash it off my hand (where I had put the excess from my brush) and the next thing you know my hands look like I’ve been changing a tire. So I pull out the makeup remover and saturate a cotton pad and scrub. Nothing. It took 91% rubbing alcohol to get this liner off.... so my question is, do I need to market some paint thinner eye makeup remover because what takes this mess off???
