I like your videos, I have the 36 pro the q8 plus and had the sp70 but gave it to my dad, all good lights. Thanks for the review on the lights and batteries. I'm about to buy some of those 45b molys. Good job brother👍
We have a winner! LOL The P45B actually has better runtime than the excellent Samsung 40T, Molicel P42a and Vapcell T42. I bought 9 of them recently, should have bought more. I'm afraid to run them in my FET driven, delicate emitter flashlights like 519A or Osram! 🔥
Lol I was thinking the same I'm really only using these in big LED's lights such as XHP70.2 and sbt90.2 and xhp50.2 with multiple LED's, appreciate you my friend 👍
@@smotheredchromewill it happen if I install a normal 21700 battery instead of the original battery of the nitecore srt7i elfener, for example, the molicell p45b values match a very close battery?
@@smotheredchromewould it be okay if I install a normal 21700 battery instead of the original battery of the nitecore srt7i flashlight, for example, the molicell p45b.do you know if a battery whose values are very close will fit? do you know about this?
This light reminds me of my Thorfire S70S. It's uses 2 X 26650 batteries and has an XHP70 in it. I use Orbtronic 5200 mah protected high discharge batteries in my light. I've been using them for several years now and they are still working great. I've been using their 18650 batteries for years as well and they are all still working great too. From the research I did when I bought them they had a good reputation for actually living up to their stated capacities. It would be interesting testing them against other high performance batteries. They probably aren't as bright but I imagine they'll give you a little more run time and be a little safer to use.
i am looking again coz mine is on the way from Ali; the only bad it seems not gets to 3k lumens in high-mode as is said not even with moli 45b; but at least keeps for long time on 2k lumens?
I have an FT02s and that lite is overrated by far as well. But with the 45b I can get 10K but it overheats quick! I also have the SP70 - it's a beast with the 45b's... like a whole new light!
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 I have not tried them yet but definitely will, I will let you know when I get the results, appreciate you my friend 👍
I didnt really need anymore lights, but I couldnt resist. I just bought the SP70 full kit with charger and HD26650 batteries on AE for $59 CAD (about $43 US). I think that is a stupid cheap price. Did you get the kit version with the HD26650 batteries or just the regular 26650 batteries? Just curious which sofirn batteries you got the first lumen numbers with and if they were the HD version batteries or not. For the price I couldnt pass on this toy lol.
I noticed that the original Sofirn batteries are button tops. And yet the P45Bs are flat tops and no contact issues putting them in series in SP70? Furthermore I am keen to try out those P45Bs in a Q8Plus, would using flat tops pose any contact issues in that fl? Cheers
The p45b have a slightly raised top and it makes contact so no need for button adapter, also the Samsung 40T has slightly raised top not like the p45b but enough to make contact.
@@smotheredchrome Thats a comfort to know thanks. I also took the Wurkkos 5000mAh standard button flat top (from a TS22 & TS21) and tried it as is. It does work surprisingly. I did also contact Sofirn Tech on this matter, and they replied that even if I do buy their high discharge batteries (4000mAh), they will send the button top version as the way the contact is designed on the board to ensure proper contact. They do not recommend flat top for obvious reasons. Anyways, somehow I do regret getting the Q8 Plus, as it makes me lust for more lumens 🤣.
No problem my friend appreciate you 🙏 Yes I had the same problem when I was buying 10k+ lights I wanted more lumens lol, when I purchased my ms18 I feel like I tamed that urge, but still on the hunt for extreme lumens, appreciate you my friend 👍
mr Smothered; on Ali i found this molicels p45b but i donnoif they are not fakes? + also i find vapcells on Vapcel store which look exaclty liek the Moli p45b same -45b writen on them etc] but is writen ''vapcell''; so the molicell is kinda the same with vapcell? like as i see the mateminco and astrolux lights?
Wow bro I need to get me some of those molecells I hope I can find them on Amazon.. what size did you say they were!!!? And also bro I was just wondering how many flashlights do you think you own in total!? And God bless you and your family
I don't think amazon sells these although you never know with amazon, I got these from 18650batterystore.com I haven't counted them since about 8 months ago but I would say around 250
Congrats on your new light collection my friend, wow 30 in 6 weeks awesome you definitely caught the bug lol, you might as well start a channel my friend there's plenty of room for you 😀
Definitely understand my friend, that's awesome over 600 wow impressive, I've been carrying a pocket knife for over 40 years and never could justify paying over $20 until a couple years ago I bought my first Benchmade, I have probably about 15 knives in my collection some kisars, civivis and spyderco nothing major but a definite upgrade to what I used to carry.
@@Next96300 I had never heard about the Chinese not being able to own those knives. Is it just those brands or is it just against the rules to own knives in general? The way our country is going it won't surprise me when they try to ban pocket carry of knives nationwide.
thanks man! my sp70 is on the way from Chinia; but i dont get it [i am new otherwise with torches] how fits in a 2650 aka 65 mm [or 65x2] long tube ? because is longer with 1,2 cm?@@smotheredchrome
I also ordered the P45B for my Q8 Plus. hitting the 20000 !!! have a nice day..... Uli

Wow those moly p45b are powerful man...Definitely wanna see a head to head vs the 30t on that ea01s see how close to 11k it can get
I will definitely grab some 30t when they stock back up.

but i would like to know if just hits the high lumens but it keeps also for more long the high-light then other batteries?

16:12 you have the astrolux FT03S SFH55? that also said 9k lumens?
So which is better the Sp60 or Sp70?
Im more interested in longer run time and best spill/ throw balance?

Yes them p45b are amazing batteries
10:40 it fits with 2170 also in tube??
10:25 so overall trhe moli 45b is better than the sams 40t?; Flashalkoholik shows with sams 40t 7800 i guess? so depends on the lumen meter too?
Yes P45B are the best.
Wow that spacer trick was awesome, I thought I'd need 2 spacers lol...how are the moly p45b on the convoy L7?
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏
I have not tried them yet but definitely will, I will let you know when I get the results, appreciate you my friend 👍
I have p45b. but i got transparent wrapped at the batteries 😅
I have AWT 21700 also good performance you can get same lumen like molicel p42a.
Thank you my friend appreciate the info 👍 🙏

ok thanks! i wait for you make a review on it or someth. before i buy those@@smotheredchrome

7k lumen on the ea01s is awesome

Yes I agree, I was only used to it reaching around 5k until the p45b arrived.
7:41 the 2170s fit in sp70 too??
