This version of Tie Your Mother Down comes from the Hollywood 1991 remasters by Kevin Metcalfe and was released on March 5th, 1991 in the US.
Matt Wallace (producer for Maroon 5 and Faith No More) remixed Tie Your Mother Down for Hollywood Records' 1991 re-release of A Day At The Races. Some minor effects are added to Freddie's lead vocal and some lead guitar are removed, which creates a very good and original mix.

Tie Your Mother Down is one of my favourite tracks but I did enjoy hearing the alternate remixes when Hollywood Records did those re-releases. Always nice to hear an alternate cut on a song and I actually liked this one.
