Idk how you gain speed when you put a bigger sprocket on the rear? It doesn’t work like that. It’ll be easier to rip wheelies but you def lose top end speed.
Gain more low end torque and speed and cut off top end yes
Aloha from Hawaii thanks for the help🤙🏽
If you put the small rear sprocket back on you'll gain more top speed, go bigger in the front and smaller in the rear to gain top end, reverse for low end
AWESOME VID BRO
Thank You Fam! More coming soon!
I like how u showed and explained everything in detail i dont know shit about motors so i need videos like these
Great video bro. Where can you find that chain tensioner? Is it 14mm? I can't find it anywhere in Europe :(
Bro I have a ssr 110 semi manual what size front sprocket and rear sprocket should I get and do you have a link please help me
Do you have links to where you purchased those sprockets from?
The brake fluid spewing out of the fluid reservoir is normal. The brake system is a high pressure system so it will squirt out. Also no you are Not supposed to bleed brakes with the reservoir cap off on motorcycles.
where'd you get your sprockets my dude
What size sprocket size did you get? How many teeth? And where you get it from
What size chain did u get for the 17/41? N did u have to take off any links?
420 Chain, & yeah I removed a few, usually you have to. Thanks for watching 👊🏼
How many links were in the rk 420 chain?
hey bro i got a dirt bike same like your monster but when i go max speed my bike seat keep shaking any help you can ?
Can u send the link to the front sprocket? I got the same bike and bought one but it was the wrong size.
where you get the gold swingarm?
Can you reccomend a online shop to purchase parts? There is so many and not sure who to trust with quality. Nice vid!
Hole hair motocross or 24mx
so if i get one of these would u recommend getting a new chain right away so the shitty one doesn't break and fuck up the motor or is the original not as bad as i hear people saying
I definitely recommend changing it out within in the first 5-10 hours of ride time. My chain snapped on me within 3 rides but I was also tearing it up lol
oh man 😂 i thought you broke your wrist when you took off the front sprocket
lmfao
I have a SSR 110. With a 10tooth front my chain in rubbing to much. How much bigger can I go on front sprocket with out messing anything up to lift chain up?
What is that black circle aboce the sprcket? Mine doesnt have it and oil is coming out of it. There is like a wave washer and pin showing.
Good video, where do I order a chain for my coolster 125cc?
You can order anywhere online or at a motorcycle parts store, you will need a 420 size chain and a chain breaker to take some links off of it. I recommend RK or Renthal but you can go with some cheaper brands and should hold up, just don’t get a super cheap or colored chain. You’ll end up getting another chain all over again. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for answering, keep up with the good job u r doing.👍👍
@@MatthewRichardsonVlogs why do you need a chain breaker for a 420 size chain when that is the size of stock chain?
What plastics on the 140 black ??
Just lost the rear sprocket on mine tonight. Lesson learned. Thanks for the vid man. Some upgrades headed to my bike this week.
Thanks for watching bro glad it helped out, I also have pitbike parts on the way 😁🤘🏼
MRichardson MX-Tv
Glad to see some vids on these bikes starting to show up more and it's good that you explain these little bikes are sweet but it's like every time I turn around im finding out something new with mine lol
you think the bracket that locks the front sprocket on would be replaceable with a plastic model? I lost mine and am thinking of 3D printing it
Just seeing this, definitely would NOT recommend that but lemme know what happens seriously, that is intriguing to see the outcome!
May I know the diameter of the center hole of your rear sprocket?
You need to replace the fork seal, front rotor, and rebleed the rear brakes WITH THE RESERVOIR CAP ON!
So you basically evened it back to same with different sprockets. What's the ratio you took off and th one you put on?!?
I was hoping you'd talk a little bit about which rear axle spacers go on what side they're different links does anyone here know?
The one with the beefier flange goes on the drive side facing the swingarm
What size chain ?
Why all bikes are connected small front gear to rear large gear!? Can u explain
Where’d u get the sprockets
So I’m trying to gear my pit bike for better acceleration off the line. I don’t want my top speed to increase, Just take off. (*I don’t race, I just like the feel when playing around on my mini track*) Currently I have a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 41 rear sprocket.
So correct me if I’m wrong but if I’m looking for better acceleration I would want to gear down?
What would you recommend to the teeth count and where would I begin to look for them?
Your definitely on the right track, yes you would want to gear down for better acceleration. I would go down to a 39 or 38 tooth sprocket in the rear and see how they works out and go from there, you don’t want to do too much at one time. I would look on eBay, everyone says a lot of bad things but I’ve ordered tons of parts from eBay and rarely ever have an issue. Just be sure it’s a high rated seller and you should be good to go
MRichardson MX-Tv
No, a smaller sprocket at the back will increase the top speed, but decrease the acceleration.
You need to go bigger at the back to increase acceleration at the cost of some top speed.
Ignatius Anker honestly I’m just going off of some websites I found while doing my own research if I’m wrong I’m wrong I’ll admit that but screw it I’m just trying to ride 🤣
Ignatius Anker what about the front
@@JAYJAY1787 12 front 45 rear will be good acceleration increase.
Were do you get the new graphics
Google
What's the tooth count on the new sprockets
Front I went with a 17 tooth & Rear is a 41 tooth
I ordered a 420 ... but the chain length is too small I need double the size ... how can I find a longer one ?
Get a chain for a cr80 and a chain breaker
Maybe use your chain tensioners 🤣
I wonder if I went to far on my 150cc. I went 35 rear and 17 front so the acceleration is gone but the top speed is great.
Same gearing here bro.. what kinda top speed u got?
Btw this dude who made the video liein lmao bigger rear lower top speef
@@dezmondwhite7775 I am not exactly sure because my speedo isn't that accurate but I know it was at 78 at the minimum but that could be off from 6-10 mph.
@Micscience well I got a 125cc and it's a apollo z20 max and just recently the chain popped off mid driving because the rear sprocket was supper fcking big for no damn reason and it had a incredible tourk but bad tip speed and bike shut off and so I wend from like a 64 tooth rear to a 32 tooth lmao ima ride it soon as I get a new stator but it hit like 55 mph with the 64 tooth rear so I wouldn't be surprised if it hit like 65
How come you put a 428 sprocket on the front and rear but kept the 420 chain? You might as well up grade to the 428 now you are all set up for it
It's all the same makes no difference
@@danielkerr4100 nope then the chain will have side and back and forth play on the sprockets, this is noticeable on hard launches, turns and wheelies not a good pair
Whats the benefit in going up in both front and back. seems counter intuitive.
Papa Oso should it be up on the front sprocket and down on the rear sprocket?
Going bigger on both sprockets can give different ratios than changing one or the other.
Also it can help with chain clearance issues if you are running long shocks.
Where did you get your gold skid plate and levers??
Daniel Parreira sprayed paint
Daniel Parreira probably eBay. Cheap af too. That's where I got all my stuff.
Help when I put the nut on the sprocket it locks in but not over the holes
Slower with bigger back sprocket unless you compensated on front sprocket
You do way too much cuts! honestly man
Those are when he yells "DAAAAD! I NEED YOUR HELP" and then his pops comes and does it.lol
i have an ssr 125 brand new ive rode it a few times but for some reason the chain keeps getting loose after like 5 minutes of riding im gonna try and tighten my front sprocket tomorrow anybody have any other tips
I have a ssr 125 that I’ve been riding over a year now and I’ve set chain tension 3 times, stock chain, your likely running the chain too tight and that’s causing stretch.
You gotta keep in mind it’s a pit bike motor so is shorter gearing so butting a bigger front sprocket will put up the top speed
“This fork is leaking profusely so I’ve got some more oil to put in that” 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Bruh. Your chain loose asf i can tell from lookin at it😂
Hes an idiot. He makws so many cuts in his vids becuse he doesnt want you to hear him yell "DAAAAD!! I NEED HELP "lol
Where are the sprockets from?
The internet, what a dumb question 🤣
front brake only gang
SSR lifan engines do your research bud😎
I stopped it at 2:09 and realized the his chain is grinding away at the frame on the top by the shock. I sure that the chain roller tensioner should be on top and not the bottom, too many things wrong with his bike, Maintenance is key peace out.
no the roller is meant to be on the bottem. when the suspension is pushed down the chain movers away from the top of the swing arm, so the roller should be on the bottem. the chain tentioner is the bolts that pusj wheel back up.
I kept watching and I believe it’s more of a joke than serious? Has to be right? Gasket sealer for threadlocker and all surely people can’t take this at all seriously😂😂🤦🏻♂️
What’s your ig
Yo I'm getting up to 65 on mines
Do a top speed. And if u want try to get a speedometer.
Next video!!
I got 18 teeth in front but i dont know the rear sprocket but it goes 110kmh
That's huge.
Did u know wat u got on the back
bro you would have gained more speed if you would have left the rear sprocket and just changed the engines sprocket on the crank itself
Mtb Ridingog ither way u get top end power or bottom end power
Mtb Ridingog yep, putting a larger sprocket on the rear gears it down and actually decreases top speed, but gives better acceleration. I see alot of people making this mistake.
I did that I put a 19 tooth front sprocket my bike does over 70 I also have the mikuni with no airbox and I'm 125 lb
@@tomspaulding4321 your light bro .. but yeah the bigger the front sprocket the higher the top speed but slower acceleration
I prefer a 13 tooth alot of torc and tops out at 60 no promblem
What back sprocket?
Also, learning grammar in 3rd-5th grade so this sad title doesn't happen, is also important.
Hahahaha i just said the same thing.he talks like a wigger/gangster too
Wtf did the plastics have to do with removing the chain and sprockets, just some extra bs
If that's a ssr 110 cc should do 45-50mph or 125cc 50-55mph it should
U need to reverse bleed it. Get a syringe and a bit of pipe and open the bleed nipple and put all the fluid in it. Empty the fluid that's in there first .
Should have just went smaller on back sprocket
took off the plastics? why? you mean you wanted to make it look like you were really doing a huge job? really unnessecary considering you were only changing a sprocket
Euro Tense I was thinking the same thing
Your the type to work on a cars engine bay with no fender sleeves 😒
The master cylinder on my pit bike is doing the same shit stupid master cylinder
im white we talk like this in nz
🤝🤝🤝
lmao please DO NOT put gasket sealer on your bolts instead of loctite. It quite literally does the opposite of what you're trying to do.
No it doesn't
This guy ain’t got a clue.
Totally clueless
the valves are running shitty😂 some people should just not own bikes or wheelers because they have no clue what they are doing or talking about😂
I dont understand 2 strokes dont have valves?
I understand now
I didnt realize you were quoting him 😂
Swazifari yeah😂
