    Doesn’t look like the required 18” from the wall , that thing is always going to run hot and have diminished capacity

    If that's a Goodman, I have the same or similar unit. I have a no cool issue and hopefully it's a capacitor cause I can change it myself. The fan works, but unit hums or buzzes every few minutes

      That is a Goodman. If the fan works but the unit hums or buzzes every few minutes that actually sounds like either the contactor or the compressor coming on and off.

      @@lhvac7846 the unit is only 7 years old and rarely used... if it compressor, I will probably have to call a professional and get a quote. Recently had it on all day, and temp in house was 95 upstairs and 90 down w thermostat set to 75(Houston). Anyway, appreciate the response

      @@tonyyayo2115 So from what you described, the compressor is definitely not running. So try the capacitor first. Do you know how to check the capacitor?

      @@lhvac7846 I was just gonna buy another 45/5 capacitor since relatively cheap on eBay. I don't have a multimeter so wasn't gonna check it
