Looks better thank the Touratech one which I have purchased to put on mine but it’s not quick release. Living in the UK the bike is going to get dirty so cleaning would be a nightmare having to take it off every time I clean the bike.
Agreed. And fair enough. I understand in some states or countries law enforcement actually cares and writes tickets for headlight guards. I don't have to worry about that in Southern California. Cops don't care. And we don't have much rain or dirt so cleaning isn't much of a problem. But if we did, then yes, I wouldn't have put it on.
Did you own a 1250 prior to the 1300 and if so any thoughts of comparison? How are you coming along with the bike, are you happy with the purchase? It looks great regardless, keep us in the loop as you add more farkles.
I did not. This is my first BMW ever. So far, very impressed and extremely happy with the bike. The telelever took some time to get used to because it kinda felt it was fighting me going into turns, but now that I'm used to it, I feel like the bike is on rails going into a turn. It's wild.
@@MotoPapa88 Good to hear! I might be willing to make the move to a 1300 GSA from my 1250 GSA here in a few years but the look still needs to grow on me some and we have yet to see what they are going to so with the Adventure model.

Does this affect the light throw of the headlight at all?
Haven't tried it yet, but I've had guards like this on 4 other bikes prior to this one, with lights not as powerful as this one, and I have never had an issue. It'll be fine.
Did you find find this in the US or did you have to have it shipped from evotech in the UK?

The winglets are WRS dark smoke. I ordered them from WRS USA. If you're in Europe you can probably order them directly from WRS in Italy.
