We used to sing this song in my high school more than 10 years ago. I just woke up with it in my Spirit. It is such a beautiful assurance for me from God. The Battle belongs to the Lord! Glory, honour, power and strength to the Lord!

This song helped me make it through the early parts of my military career from early 1990. I was stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia (just outside of Augusta) when I first heard this song. I know this is a commonly-sung tune in many churches, but I like this Petra version the best.

This song ministered to me while I was a soldier in the U.S. Army back in the early 90's. I first heard it while I was at my Advanced Individual Training (A.I.T.), or Army job training, back in 1990. It touched me then, and it's still effective now.
