These are great tips but realistically no one should worry about their batteries. They are designed to prevent extensive damage over time since the software cuts off the power after it is fully charged. These tips will help but overall I wouldn’t worry about it!

Interesting because my iPhone’s battery lost about 10% in health when I wasn’t paying attention how I charge it. Now that I keep it between 20-70% it drasticly shows that my battery’s health is doing way better!

make sure your phone is fully charged when you wake up, keep it around the 50-100 throughout the day, and NEVER let the phone die whether it’s at 1 or not, do not let it die because as soon as your battery dies, that’s when the battery starts to slowly deteriorate

the best example on avoiding cheap chargers, I bought one in a shop and after 2mins of charging it was super hot and there was a very loud buzzing sound. Was in some weird indian shop selling old phones and apparently counterfeit samsung/apple chargers. Who knows what could happen if you leave a charger like this without surveillance. I feel that the optimized charge is an over engineered feature in the iPhone.
I mean, it forces me to charge every night so it can learn my patterns of sleep but I think it is unnecessary. I have my alarm clock at 6:30 and the phone set to not disturb until same time. What else does it need to know? With this system sometimes my phone is 80% when I arrive at home because I have been driving and using CarPlay, so if I skip this night the phone will start to forget my times.

@@tamannapharmacy450 Battery health on an iPhone really matters a lot unless you don’t use an iPhone, For example on my iPhone 8 Plus which had 78% battery health I couldn’t go through a whole day by midday it was on like 20% sometimes 10% but few weeks ago I went and bought the 11 from the Apple Store which has 100% battery health as all new iPhones from the Apple Store do and I will be honest there is a massive difference soo if you had 100% battery health you’ll be able to use your phone through a whole day or more than a day depending on your usage and the reason of the usage whereas if you had 80% then you’ll experience a significant difference like for example your phone charge will run out quicker and you won’t be able to perform heavy battery tasks, hope tht answered your question🙌🏽

  • @Parsi900

There is one important fact to keep in mind and that's batteries get chemically degraded no matter how you gonna treat with it although air and temperature can make some difference but it's mostly about how much you use your phone and the work load pressure you put on the battery and there's nothing you can do to stop or prevent aging or degrading process, unless you don't use your device that much other than simple phone call answers of light usage. The more you use the shorter battery life span would get and the less usage the more battery life (higher capacity) you'll have.
If your battery has already degraded to the point (75-80%)which requires replacement none of these methods in this video will really do much for it!
