    I am also wash my hair with shampoo once in a week or two i stopped using conditioner . I started to do this because i suffered from huge hair loss. And that helped me a lot. That shows that shampoo and especially conditioner damage our hair. Its dry out scalp and then our scalp produce a lot oils. And conditioner weakening the hair

    To stay with a natural wash....try coconut oil as a conditioner in the shower, or even if just on the ends on dry hair. A little goes a long way. I've seen less fall out and new hair growth doing this.

    I also use rye flour shampoo. I only wash my roots and after rinsing out the shampoo, I seal the hair cuticle by rinsing my hair with maximum cold water. The cold water rinse keeps my hair soft and not dry. It's so simple and it works for me! Cold water has its benefits!

    I get the specks too.... I heard that the rye flour isn’t finely milled, or ground. But idk. I just brush them out. My hair LOVES rye flour. I add an egg to my mixture 😁
    Btw, I used to watch you a looooong time ago for nail videos. Haven’t watched your videos in a while. Was so surprised to see you in a natural hair video 😁.... but your skin!! Oh. My. Gosh. I think this may be something for me to try. I've recently started losing quite a bit of hair, at least 50 hairs fall out every time I wash my hair and at least another 20 when I brush my hair even after using conditioner so it isn't tangled, and I don't over brush. But I do also use a prescription shampoo that I've been using for years for psoriasis of the scalp to keep it at bay. So it will be interesting to see how this affects the psoriasis!

    I blend my rye flour mixture in a blender so it is nice and creamy. There is literally no flaking. And For the first time I added glycerin because I have low porosity hair. Results are pending lol

  • @tiffanyhoffman-almueti3697

    Maybe try adding an egg yolk or two to your rye mixture. I've heard this can help with the dryness on the ends. Or you could try using a silicone free natural conditioner on just the ends. Your hair is beautiful!!

    I crush rosemary and steep it in ACV. Smells nice and helps smooth the hair cuticle. rinsing with water as cool as you can comfortably handle helps too.

      @begoodtoyourself9591 Před 5 lety

      Evelyn Lee Barney hi there ,,, do you use fresh rosemary or dry rosemary to infuse in the ACV?? Thank you 😊

    • @EvBarney
      @EvBarney Před 5 lety +2

      I happened to use fresh rosemary which I crushed a bit (a few sprigs to a gallon of ACV) HOWEVER - if you have fresh dried rosemary (an unopened bottle or from a bulk bin with high turnover) there is no reason not to use dry. I suspect the dry would give a stronger rosemary scent - but that's not a bad thing!

      @elianamiller2666 Před 6 lety +1

      +stephyclaws +LOVE4NAILS That is what I was going to tell her about--I had very dry hair, verrryyy. 5 months or so ago someone told me about coconut oil cold pressed is super very good for your hair as it makes your hair very healthy and makes your hair soooo verrryyyy soft. I had the day before just had my hair French braided so I was not going to un-do it so I put the coconut oil just on the ends very liberally. Next morning WOW the entire length of my hair was sooo soft and shiny. I continued putting it on ends and my hair was soooo verrryyyy silky feelin WOW I HAVE NEVER HAD SILY HAIR. Coconut oil is THE BEST THING EVER. And my hair was always gets knotted lots of tangles. A week later took my hair down and verrryyyyy liberally put it on my scalp and completely through the entire length of my hair on the outside and all through the underneath and just rubbing all my hairs getting it all through all of my hair. The comb goes through my hair like butter--it literally slides through any tangles as well after washing my hair when showering, towel drying it the comb slides through tangled washed hair. I always wanted to have silly, shiny här that others have AND NOW I FOREVER DO. My Sister and I puts it all over our legs, feet, arms. I told her to put lots on her huge, lonnngggg scar that. Goes across her whole abdomen from her gall bladder surgery. I was a very WIDE, DEEP Scar as the surgeon only stapled--not stitched--staples were verrryyyy far part leaving long open gaps. We were shocked of how such few staples he used. Her scar has SHRUNK SOOOOO MUCH AND KEEPS GETTING SO SMALL OF A SCAR---AMZING.

      I have no choice. If I don't my hair will be so brittle and dry that it will break off. My hair also don't like oils so I have to use hair grease. My scalp eats that stuff for lunch. If I don't put a lot of grease or other products in my hair I can go a month w/o washing it. When I had relaxers I could go for six weeks. The joy of having difficult hair....
