I made this video to study how well my oscilloscope stacks up against the competition and to look for what I can improve. My goal is not to copy every behavior of an analog oscilloscope, but to study it on a purely aesthetic basis and take it further by expanding on the artistic and creative options.

I'm pretty sure MOTU looks real wild because it also shows the lines that aren't supposed to be shown, and indicating all the different intensities with different colors instead of different lightnesses.
asdfg: matches perfectly
Bottom left had the sharpest, most defined lines, but the bottom right had that chaotic static that would be great for like a super intense electronic post rock music video
Jerobeam Fenderson: Green
MOTU looks fine when it's not tracing a line back to the origin
MOTU needs to calm down.
Top left: green

Soundemote is definitely great, so it may be difficult to pinpoint what needs improvement. I do really like the "thermal vision" effect where more recently active portions are bright yellow while areas of lesser activity are blue/purple. And I think we can all agree "At least it's more accurate than MOTU."

The others: WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE NORMAL?!
Jerobeam and asdfg: The Perfect Match.
MOTU is exposing the imperfections

colours and sounds make me happy
asdfg is the software used for "blue spirals" by jerobeam fenderson
motu must be having a hell ton of rave at the drop
Ok, Soundemote, I figured out whose spiral's who's.
Top left: normal
