Thanks for having me - you're the goat Zen
Thank you for all your work Sam!
Thank you brother
Holy shit. I can’t thank y’all enough for putting Sam on. I missed the showcase in Miami and am such a huge fan of his sound. The knowledge in this video is invaluable, there are others who charge a lot to share these techniques. I’m inspired, and this video along with some Black Friday specials 💪 are exactly what I needed to jump in ableton this weekend. Again, bravo! Sam, Umek, Mha Iri and rebel boy are some of the best doing it right now. Much love from Miami 👊
Damn this was dope guys! Im downloading Tinder as im writing this
There's so much value in this, thanks a ton for making this and making it available to everybody for free. Prison Break hits hard, sick EP! Thanks again! 🙏
STOKED
Edit:
I love the series, Sam seems like a super chill guy, really enjoyed this one.
SAM WOLFE sounds like the coolest guy to hang out and make some bangers. Creative mind! All the best 🚀🚀🚀
Thanks for getting him here Zen
This is probably one of the best videos on production i have ever seen. Regardless of the genre, theres so much good advice and techniques in this.
Big ups to zen, Sol state and Sam for this !!
This is the best I’ve ever seen on my 34 yr journey, beautiful to see a craftsman share with passion❤❤❤can’t wait to try these techniques
Wow! So informative! Amazing tutorial. Sam Wolfe is a ridiculously good producer.

Yooo Zen! I think it’s that time again for the Black Friday plugins video👀
This is the most repeated youtube video in my list. Thank you so much! I just wish so much for another Techno artist featured dojo. Maybe as a Patreon or something similar? That would also benefit the artist as well as Zen. I am inifintely grateful for the free content though
Thanks
What up mexicano! Cheers from sweden
thx a lot
Great! Definitely learned something, thanks! Too bad the Mbassador isn’t free anymore 😀
Damn, listened now, Prison Break slaps HARD.
+❤
I can not for the love of god get that heavy bass no matter the layers.. Jesus. I want that bass IN MY DAW RIGHT NOW
what is the name of the song ?
Tutorial on making drops like ootoro?
If you duplicate a sound, pan one 100% left and the other 100% right, does that not get cancelled out / lost when the track is played over a mono club system?
I think thats what the "prevent anti-phase" on ozone is stopping.
I thought the same thing too originally, but found in Ableton it does not. The "robot groove" in Prison break is 100% audible in clubs I've played. But a good way to check is throw a utility --> mono on your master channel and see if the panned 50/50 sounds are lost in mix 🍻
@@samwolfemusic Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely be trying this trick out.
👁👁
from whom where all the preset packs from besides the goat zen? Rubberboy or smth - couldnt find it online.... :(
Rebel Boy but I don’t think he has released them
@@ZenWorld damn, maybe in the future at one point. Thx for the answer tho! :*
Hey! great video but there is lots of processing that he doesnt explain, por examplo the others eq and comp in the kick channels
I made a video on this recently
Lmaoo roasted
I've been really messing up the balls of my songs.
Five layers for a synth isn't too much??Are all of those necessary and how he can mix them without masking each other?
Works for him but i agree a bit with you it's just his way of working. I like seeing some producers way as while It may be wrong in theory it works for them. Best of love
@@ZenWorld Is there a possibility for you to make a video that explains how one can properly layer a lead melody, in order to cut through the mix and be fatter in a way to cover the mid spectrum? For example how to mix and how to choose the layer sound. Thank you!
There are no rules -- You can cram as much crap on top of each other as you want, there will become a point that nothing good is being added, at that point stop adding, but just clear space for each sound (especially in 100-300hz) and use a clipper to cut the excess transients off and Viola you can make some cool sounds
@@samwolfemusic Thank you Sam
Every time i see somebody using lfo tool without taking in count system´s delay i¡I LOL
If it works for him it works.
I feel like he is not compressing anything at 31:44, just doing a little boost on the highs and taking a few dbs off overall, because both knobs of upwards and downwards compressions are on 0%
but yeah despite these details man shared some solid knowledge
lmao the finger gun "could care less whaddap" from whoever the hell "soul" is.
mbasador aint free anymore lol RIP
