My school uses a lot of LCN closers. Most common ones are the ones with the EDA arm. There are a few parallel mount LCN closers which uses the universal arm for the Band room doors. There is some regular mount with the universe arm but those are not seen much. There isn’t any top jams unless you Count the automatic door openers (all 8 of them are LCN but 2 uses the universal arm that comes with the LCN 4020 and the other 6 uses a arm special to the automatic door operator).
What school is that is thos a certain trade? I install all these closers as a carpenter but its not for everyone its not easy for a beginner in my opinion one of the hardest to learn most cant do it i had to study that paper lol
I got a brand new 4111 (with metal security cover) for $20 from a habit for humanity back in 2010. Best closer I own. Nice to see you have one as well!

@@vrryan6 Needs to be von duprin as it needs to work with my Schlage lock system it also needs to be rim latch it’s been difficult to find one that would work for under $1000
None of us doors guys are “into door closers”….we just install them because it’s a part of our job description junior. Edit: after reading some of the comments here I stand corrected…shm
This is a door closer there's many door closer at my Church and my school so at least i just realized that I noticed that when the door is going FAST or Slow. when is going FAST it speed up but when it goes slow it's Slow down it can be like LCN closer's or something has a name for the door closer.. Door closer closing the door fast or slow and i will be a expert of door closer Door closer can close door (aromatic door closer) (regular door closer) 2 i just realized that this is a door closer ™ open the door and close the door 1, door closer at my Church and my school there's many door closer at my Church and my school 2,there like 48 door closer and 3, it can close door or open the door 0:01

Have you heard of Sargent? The school I work at uses Sargent for the door locks, keys, and door closers.
My high school used Sargent 350’s on every door

Some door closers at my school has back check so early that you barely open the door then you have to force like hell to get the door fully open
