5:53 The instructions show that the WRENCH arm is parallel to the door. This is correct. But the final result shows the linkage arm or connecting arm parallel with the wrench arm swung out. This is wrong. After pre-loading, the arm will push against the door like yours does. Then, while the door is shut, swing arm out only until it's parallel to the door and no further. Then adjust the length of the connecting arm until it reaches the bracket. Now when closed, the swing arm/wrench arm will be perfectly parallel to the door, while the connecting arm is at an angle. Unfortunately, this is a very common mistake where many people get confused about which part is supposed to be "parallel", even though it's clear in the instructions.
ok so I own the Green Door in Tn and I have been fighting a bad landlord and this door for 4 1/2 years. How sad my named after a Door has a Door that won't work! Thanks to your video my door works perfect now. I had it turned every way but against the door how you show. Seriously, it may seem small, but I have already had customers comment on how much better my door works. Before you ask why it took 4 1/2 years, understand I sell THC (legally) 😆 Thanks again!

The wrench arm should be parallel to the door. Also, as stated in another comment, if that is a hollow-core door or even a solid wood door it would be best to use through bolts because overtime the closer mounting screws will possibly become loose.

If I wanted to read instructions I wouldn't be watching a video.
In the part of final results, what we need is main arm ( Wrench arm )to parallel with the door frame , not forearm! It is a little different in the end of the video. Am I right ?

I hope you were able to get the information you were looking for on how to install the door closer. Not much I can do with the music. There is no voice over, so there is music instead... the volume is fully controlled by the viewer (usually on the side of the phone or the device you are using to watch).
