William Brassette that’s not the point of the show though. This isn’t where you get participation pity. It’s where you perform an act that you are very good at. Honestly, they need to have 2 different shows, one for singing, and one for true talent. I hate the amount of singing, winning over people who have crazy skill and do something actually interesting. Giving it to someone cause they are a kid, or had a hard life, defeats the purpose of the show

Jonathan and Charlotte were brilliant, shame on whoever made fun of them in the beginning for their appearance, then they wonder why people are so insecure and depressed
I was so touched by Jonathon's reaction to all the applause, he was so insecure in himself he couldn't believe how much praise there was for him. He had too many years of being bullied to believe in himself, it's great that Charlotte persuaded him to audition on BGT.

Jonathon and that young boy in the final act couldn’t have done it without their singing partners and they both knew it, so much credit to Charlotte and the young boys! I feel so bad for Charlotte, even if she wasn’t as phenomenal as Jonathon she didn’t deserve those words and it probably broke her spirit. Those two kids continued to do so well because they were both equally encouraged

Last video I've watched so many times and it still brings water to my eyes. I was bullied when younger cause I was so shy and shuttered when asked to talk out loud in class. I was one of the most athletic in my class to make up for my stutter. But, kids still made fun of my clothes and speech. I feel for this kid. Now, I've retired from the Army and labeled as a "War Hero" for my actions under direct ambush with small arms fire and RPGs during tours in Iraq. 2 purple hearts, 1 Silver Star and 2 bronze stars are my highest medals along with 4 ARCOMS, and 6 AAMS awarded to me. Put in for Medal of Honor but downgraded to Silver Star due to disobeying Officer order to find cover but instead ran to soldier bleeding from being shot and dragged him to cover while suppressing the enemy with M4. It was a tough mission once it was finally over with.
It really pissed me off how people were so rude and judgemental towards Jonathan and Charlotte, he seems like such a lovely person and so does she, people really suck, but I'm glad they shut the haters up 🥰

The opera singer guy just melted my heart especially when he decided to stick with his singing partner even if it hurts his potential all though I really don't think it will at all. They need each other. And the harmony is astounding. Def thought Simon could have been a bit nicer about it though. I hope he doesn't have anymore confidence issues now because the world loves. Never judge a book by it's cover is a very true statement.
