People complaining about U2 being political is like people complaining that the sun is hot. They've been that way from the beginning. If you don't like it, don't listen, or go to the shows. But don't act all incredulous and critical. That's who Bono is, and largely he is passionate and intelligent about it.

I agree. The sing-a-long attempts were terrible. Dont know if its the Vancouver crowd, or the fact the audience is mostly made up of 40 to 50 year old middle class moms and dads who want to sit back and watch.
As a massive u2 fan who rates Ultraviolet as one of my top 5 u2 songs ever, I am very disappointed with what they have done here. This song is about the Holy Spirit, and the song somehow loses a lot of meaning with the feminist angle they are putting on it. The images of all those women also detracts from what this song stands for.
