    Even a Fortuny Dress could have been bought for 50$! Anyway Mariano Fortuny was a Spaniard who lived in Venice, and the specific plisset technique that made his name famous was an invention of his wife. He was a Honorable man and kept repeating - again and again - that his Woman was the inventor! It wasn't certainly a secret...

    • @Antique_TreasureHunt

      It's fascinating how history sometimes overlooks the contributions of women, even when they play such pivotal roles. Mariano Fortuny's wife's involvement in the invention of the plissé technique adds an extra layer of depth to his legacy. It's a reminder of the many hidden stories behind famous inventions and innovations. Thanks for sharing this insight!

    • @Antique_TreasureHunt

      Warhol's fascination with Campbell's Soup cans can be puzzling at first glance! 🥫🎨 He saw them as a symbol of mass production and consumer culture, turning something ordinary into high art. 🖼️🍲 It's definitely an acquired taste, but his work had a significant impact on the art world! 🌟🖌️

    You need to pick better music and edit it better. The weird upbeat music in-between the clips combined and often playing over the strange foreboding music is very off putting.

    So, if you are a well-known artist, you could make a silkscreen of a can of Cambells soup, and it would be worth $50,000. OK.

      It might seem surprising, but Warhol's Campbell's Soup Can prints are considered iconic works of art that reflect on consumer culture and mass production. 💡🥫 Their value comes not just from the image itself, but from the cultural and historical significance behind it. 🎨💰 Art valuation can be complex and subjective!

      @Antique_TreasureHunt  Před 20 dny

      It's heartbreaking to see so many people experiencing homelessness. 💔 The issue touches on complex social and economic factors that require comprehensive solutions. While it can feel overwhelming, supporting organizations and initiatives dedicated to providing housing, resources, and support to those in need can make a significant difference. Together, we can work towards creating a more compassionate and equitable society. Is there a particular organization or cause you support to help address homelessness in your community? 🏠🌟

    My mother found a jewelry box for 1 dollar, inside the box was finger nail clippings . Upon DNA testing they belonged to George Washington. At auction they can easily fetch anywhere from 1 million to 500 billion for just 1 finger nail clipping with a dried booger and old dirty bandaid.Sorry I always wanted to do that.

    Weird accent moving from Middle English to tv American. Dreadful music too…..also many of the clips are decades old ; therefore the values quoted are far more significant than in today’s terms. Very lazy posting….

    • @Antique_TreasureHunt
      @Antique_TreasureHunt  Před 29 dny

      It can be jarring when there's inconsistency in accents and music choices, right? 🎶📺 And you make a good point about older clips potentially skewing valuations. 💼🕰️ Hopefully, the timeless appeal of the antiques still shines through! ✨🏛️
