@@TommoOnCZcams as I’m sure you know, his agent told him he had to lose his Essex accent to get corporates on board with him. So he now affects an rp and Italian accent.

In F2, results by themselves are meaningless. What matters is what results you get at your age. That's why guys like Norris or Verstappen are great in F1 even if they didn't win their last junior formula season. Last year Ollie was the youngest in F2 and already on pace in his rookie season. That's why I boldly predicted him as the next Ferrari F1 champ (I hope they get their act together before he arrives 😅).

Charles will be the next champ IF Ferrari can have a car as good as the 2022 car (until Spa at least) and have the management, reliability and pitstops/strategey of 2023
The highs were so impressive. Ollie knows that as long as he cuts out the mistakes, he's in a strong place.
@@TommoOnCZcams Definitely agree with that. I felt his tyre management and quali inconsistency hurt him the most. Which is understandable at his age, also the past season was only his second year on the F1 support series' Pirelli tyres which are generally described as hard to master.

Dream big with your life work extremely hard and your make it. Age is on your side and that's a huge thing. Perhaps you won't make f1 but you could be a gt driver. Or away from it be successful in business and buy whatever car you like. Go for it and remember there mistakes are good as long as you learn
By far one of the most exciting rookies around at the moment. Pairing him with Kimi Antonelli at Prema is mind blowing, they're gonna kill it. The future of F1 right there. I just hope he starts somewhere other than Haas. He deserves a lot better.

Bearman is my favourite F2 driver at the moment, mainly because hes from the UK, and very fast, young, talented, and I was only born 3 years after him!

I was lucky enough to talk shortly to Ollie on his trackwalk in Austria and even in that short amount of time you felt how relaxed and normal it felt to speak to him.
Really a bit similar to Oscar, which is not that normal across the other F2 and F1 drivers :)

Silverstone 2023 was my first live experience of racing, and I saw Ollie pull off quite a move into Stowe corner in the F2 sprint race. In the wet too. Wishing him all the best this season.

He reminds me of Charles a lot in terms. I started supporting him when he was in f3, like Charles, and he’s a Ferrari driver and I’ve been a life long Ferrari fan. So I hope he follows his path and he gets into haas for the 2025 season. Then once Lewis leaves Ferrari Ollie will have a few years experience in a lower team and can make an easy transition to Ferrari.
The part about his dad asking if he would just play football or something cheaper is so humanizing. Amazing interview

He lives in Italy and mostly speaks to people with strong Italian accents. It has rubbed off on him, evidently.

@@GBGB000Italians speak Italian in Italian not English accents. He changed his accent as he was told his original one was too ‘common’

Very glad for him that Steiner is gone, so if he wins F2 in his second year and then goes to Haas thanks to Ferrari ties then he won’t have his career ruined.
I think a top 3 and he’ll go, but I wouldn’t be surprised and would be happy for him if he wins F2 this year
if Sainz renews his contract with Ferrari until 2025, in my opinion Ollie could drive for Ferrari already in 2026
