Grebnev lost the match but won my heart. He's played this tournament like a Champion.

For me, Grebnev is the player of the tournament.
Awesome match. Maxim and Russian team should be proud about their play at this ETTC, nobody expected that young team (19, 19 and 20 years old; I think that Skachkov played only one match, and Shibaev did not play at all) to advance from the group - they beat France 3-0 to achieve that! Then they beat very experienced and higher-ranked Austria 3-2, and then 3-0 over even higher-ranked Sweden when everybody was saying that this is where their journey will end. Superb performance!
true, very impressive performance of these young guns from russia. But also very impressive is that germany was able to take the tilte without Timo and Dima. I wouldn't have expected that either.
@@Ufkatuale True that. When I saw Timo and Dima absent I was actually expecting Sweden to win the whole thing.

Жаль это я так думаю единственный шанс был выиграть золото,выиграл бы,и пару выиграли бы. А в следующийраз такого шанса уже не будет
@@sbhoo2848 ... дружище, Максим сейчас в мировом рейтинге 540-ой. Франциск 15-ый... с учётом того что игра была равная, перспектива меня тут радует гораздо сильнее, чем уплывшее золото. Максим молодой. Дерзкий и резкий как детский понос. Идёт до конца и не признаёт авторитетов.. и думаю в НТ это самое главное. Он нас ещё не раз удивит и порадует.. По мне, вся суть в том, что наши парни нагнали жути на Европу и подвинули её. Рывок вперёд просто колоссальный.. и тренерскому составу за это, огромный респект и уважуха!

This event was an absolute desaster with regard to the TV production. No replays, only one camera, no commentator. It's incredible and I am speechless, how bad the official people of the Ettu must be.

Grebnev's got great potential and talent. I do believe he'll be able to become the strongest european player, if keeps on working hard. Anyway, congratulations to Germany. You're the most skilled team in Europe at the moment even without Timo and Dmitry. Thank you for the game, got so much pleasure.

It was legendary! Both players played well but Maksim made it so emotional! Really brilliant match deserved to be in gold panteon in Russia table tennis history.
