- Tf2's patriotic and insane American has finally landed onto Beginner's Guide! The soldier is perfect for beginners, and this video will help out anyone who wants to learn about stock soldier.
I'm currently practicing with sfm and editing, so any advice or criticism would help a lot!

This man has clearly never used the spoon to devour an entire enemy team and it shows.
mmm enemy gibs 😋
My recommendation would only be to play the full death animation out in your cut aways, lazypurple is a good example of this. Good vid tho
Great idea! I'll try it for the next beginner's guide.
ngl this is one of the best soldier tutorial videos editing SFM is so good nice job man.
Thanks! Your support means a lot!

As a **relatively** new player, (300+ hours) the mobility that rocket jumping, and blast jumping in general cannot be understated. It is extremely useful to learn, especially for characters who have said mobility on demand (Demo, Soldier, Pyro a bit).
Mobility in TF2 is not only useful, but also extremely fun imo. Sometimes breaking the source engine is just hilarious.
You were a hell of a fighter, maybe even the best

Such N amazing video, great editing and the sfm is funny keep up the good work and keep making videos
Thanks, the support helps a lot!
I'm tired of playing Heavy for the past 10 years, figured I get good at the other 8 classes, starting at soldier.
Dude look at this guy how haven’t I seen man this guy is going places and I’m glad I got here soon
Thanks! I hope you enjoy my future videos!
I see a future tf2 youtube giant in the making. Keep working on that sfm, bro. It seems that you've picked up good habits with your animating, so keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what your animation style can evolve into!
My sub is as good as yours!
Ps: When animating funny tf2 stuff in sfm, you might want to try and learn how to do ragdolls. It's hilarious and easier to animate
I really appreciate your support! Comments like this are the main reason why i want to improve and keep doing youtube.
U wanna know how to play soldoer? Its real simple. Lemme teach you.
See enemy?
Shoot floor
Wanna go places?
Shoot floor
See many enemy?
Shoot floor many times
See pyro?
Shoot floor, but at weird angle
See buildings?
Shoot floor
See teamate?
Shoot floor, its a spy
Something as weird and simple as just shooting the floor makes so many scenarios easier for soldier, which kinda makes sense considering how odd soldier canonically is.
New sub. This video is really really good! Better than my SFM animation abilities that's for sure.
Thanks! I believe that you can increase your SFM skills, there's tons of ways to improve in the program and there are many people who can help. :)
This is a really good video! My only complaint is the subtitles, it's a bit dizzying when they constantly move up and down, I suggest instantly switching to the new set of subtitles without any sort of animation, it makes it much easier to read. Aside from that, great vid!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely remove the caption animations to make them easier to read.
@@Electric-Creeper Yeah aside from that one complaint, it's genuinely a really good video! Keep it up, you might be the next big TF2ber.
Also, not necessarily a critique, but some advice: make subtitles for your videos. Like actual YT subtitles. They make the video more accessible and consequently get more views.
@@grababana Great advice! I'll consider trying out the yt captions instead of my typical white and blue text next time.
awesome video!
Thanks for supporting the channel!
A rocket jumping guide e would be great
Thanks for letting me know! I'll create one after finishing the 9 classes.
Great video!!
Thanks!
Good shit.
I appreciate it!
Great vid! The only issue I noticed is that the music is tiny bit to loud, and can distract from what you are saying.
Thanks for letting me know, I'll turn down the music for my next video!
I started playing TF2 around month ago, I hoped my potato laptop would handle it and it did. Soldier has to be my favorite class, because he's the offense class. The only issue is that I can't obtain skill as a soldier because of my laptop, so I thought that direct hit and the concheror would suit my play. I still end up awkward when it comes to rocket jumping though, but I try my best lol
I used to play tf2 on a potato laptop as well, the best thing you can do for now is play well with what you have. Remember, there will always a way to improve with soldier. (Ps: if you wanna improve with rocket jumping, you can practice on jump maps. The jump map I used in the video is jump_academy2_rc9a.)
Tf3 ftw
Maybe tf3 will happen one day... maybe.
Comment for the YT algo
Thanks for the comment, the support really helps!
I feel this pain on a personal level, so I am very glad to help! :D @@Electric-Creeper
Hmm, the shovel seems pretty good. . . 🙂
shovelfanTF2 spotted
do not hold W when rocket jumping
Forgot to mention it, good point!
Nah I'd win
Nah I'd win
For the amount of work put into this video, this is awfull score
YT Algorithm sucks
Yeah, the algorithm isn't too kind sometimes. :(
