❤Thank you for sharing this, can you do one when you start your student loan payoff. I WILL BE COLLECTION FREE BY DECEMBER then all I have will be student loan
I like my discover card app to pay my bill. However, there is a feature on your credit card app that will let you see the sum total of all your debt and your credit card utilization. You don’t need to add it up yourself.
As someone who worked through a bunch of debt and credit issues twice, you can do it! The second time does feel easier because you have learned lessons. This time, it is sticking. You've got this!
Have u watched any of VANNtastic velocity banking videos? That lady is ahhhmazing!
Do we get a physical copy when we order?
One thing I did when I was in a similar situation after paying bills and putting money in savings, I'd buy a $5 to $20 gift card for my local grocery store and Amazon each pay period and set them aside. When I needed/wanted something and funds were low, I'd use the gift cards instead of the credit cards. It let me pay down the debt and build up my savings.
smart!
I used to get a hundred dollar gift card from vanilla visa but I have cut it down to 25 usd
😊
I do that normally at 711 with a $100 piece. A gift card and that has to do me all months
@@user-po2ql5tb6w that is my store and I was sweating how I was going to pull back on my 75$ weekly amount with them. Awesome idea. 🥰
Queen I be so happy when people be transparent.. I can't stand when people be showing us all the cash stuffing . They stuffing thousands and thousands of dollars... never act like life be life..thank you.
Yesss that's why I like watching jazmine. She keeps it real, god will forever keep blessing her.
I admit I love that she keeps it real including the emotions she's feeling with it. I get it.
Yassss I swear I delete all those other cash stuffers cause what job do you work to have all that money?? I know I kept it real n spill the tea 😂❤
@@caprispillingtheteaLSTok do I feel better to know I’m not the only one. Where do you get so much money to be stuffing almost $2k every week. Some times I’m wondering if they just saved up a months worth then keeps recycling it and make videos. I’m so cynical. 😂
@@lionessrising I was thinking the same thing. They stuff the same $2k every week... lol.
This is why we have to teach children about money, finances and debt EARLY! I wish trial and error were not my teachers. You’ve got this.
Exactly! No one ever taught me. I taught myself. They learn nothing about money in school but they can list all the presidents by golly. I interview so many kids straight from college and they don’t have life skills.
I'm there now, trial and error have been my teachers. I felt so stuck. Made bad decisions while I was working full time and now I'm a stay at home mum with 2 kids and I can't afford to pay off anything or even save. I wish I could go back to 3 years ago, I currently have no childcare so I can't work and I'm just stuck. I know what to do next time, but I just need a chance to get out.
Sending you all my best wishes , I’m $1000 away from paying off $8,000 in credit card debt since February. It’s a slow journey but it’s worth it all!!
You're almost there! Well done!
is yours in collections? i have $8k credit card debt too
@@beautiful10381 no , mine wasn’t in collections. It was with a credit card.
Stay away from credit cards. You don’t need them. Nothing but trouble will follow. Don’t have the cash, you can’t afford it. Period.
Ordering online , renting a car , hotel reservations , a TRUE emergency . YES , U NEED a credit card . Get a LOW amount & use discipline .
Girl, am I in dept! 16 credit cards 😮 over 45 thousand dollars. I just purchased your book without finishing the video. I'm very excited to do this with you. I'm so happy I found you. Let's do this! ❤
File for bankruptcy, you can bounce back in 18-24 months and have a good credit score.
I went through a lot of financial crisis after my divorce, I had to raise my two kids alone, Currently I'm living smart and frugal with my money. Bought my second house already. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for me; even till now I earn monthly through passive income. I'm planning on retiring when my kids finish college, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing
Hey Joy,currently, I am in dire need of investment advice or tips. Last year, I hesitated and failed to take any action until the year concluded. However, this year, I am determined to try something new, as I am very receptive to various investment ideas.
I highly endorse the services of Regina Louise Collaro, a US-based financial advisor and consultant. Partnering with an international organization, she has been instrumental in guiding my financial journey with unwavering support until my goals are met. Selecting the right financial consultant is as crucial as finding the right life partner, as both can significantly impact your life's trajectory. I'm grateful to have found the perfect financial consultant who has helped me achieve my financial objectives, from education to nearing retirement.
I appreciate your advice. It's hard to find someone that's reliable. When I see how much you've made investing, I could really use your investment advisor. That is, if you don't mind sharing her information
you can easily find her information by doing a quick search. Feel free to reach out to her directly with any questions you may have
I've wanted to start investing for a while. Yet, I've always considered it to be late, and I believe I should quit putting things off. I'll absolutely contact Regina Louise Collaro to ask her for advice. Much thanks. This was quite helpful to me.
I’m following Dave Ramseys plan right now and girl that snowball is growing to pay off debt so fast! I literally hate credit cards and cannot use them again I’m done taking out loans and cards and car payment. I can’t trust myself with this so I won’t touch debt once I get free. Yes the feeling of acceptance with debt is real.
I did it! I have only one credit card I use, i only use it in emergencies, and pay it off between 1 to 2 months! I keep the card empty.
Yes, I am following Dave Ramsey's plan as well. I do have to say the sacrifices I make for my budget are significant. No getting nails done...hair done.. Anything! It is so hard!
If I may ask how did you get started with Dave Ramsey
@@Chelleychelle710 I went through a sponsorship. If you go to journeytowisdomandwealth her channel has a short video with a link to a church that you can sign up for financial peace university for free. That’s how I got started.
Been listening to Ramsey since beginning of August and starting the plan this month. BS2. We got this!
Don't feel bad. Became debt free for about 3 years. Well, I fell back into the cycle. I'm currently paying my debt back off AGAIN. For some reason this second time around hit different. This is it for me. Once I get out for the second time, I'm not going back.
Thank you for your honesty. Too many influencers who are good with money are telling people to use credit cards for the perks. Dave Ramsey gets bad rep for being so anti credit cards, but most people in reality have no discipline and end up in credit card debt. So thank you for your honesty and keeping it real!
I went through FPU years ago, a few years after I became a widow. It was so helpful and I paid off a fair amount in a much shorter time than I thought it would take.
I cancelled three CC's but kept one. An annoyance to my FPU mentor, for sure! I use it and always know the balance. I keep the cash in my bank account and pay it off every month. I get a whole 1% in points and am not at all interested in getting another card that would "pay" me more. I use my CC as a budgeting tool, not for points.
I would also NEVER recommend anyone do what I do! It takes work and a lot of financial discipline which I'm good with. About 3 yrs short of bs7 and can hardly wait!
Yes Dave is the best 🎉
100% correct.
I've seen many people fall back into debt, and it is very similar to when you lose weight too fast and end up getting it back. Knowing you were able to get out of debt before is a double-edged sword in many cases, because you tend to think if you were able to do it before, you can do it again. And that is true for most of the people who were actually able to get out of debt, but its not a healthy relationship with money, in the same way people losing weight sometimes end up with an unhealthy relationship with food.
Maybe $90,000
Omgosh….. I was way off oops
This is such a good point. To give my experience, I have never had consumer debt except for a car loan that I paid off and had the car for 15 years. However I was disorganized wasted/loss money. So my savings did not increase the way it should have because I did not pay attention to my spending. But once I heard that Mint was going away, I started using spreadsheets and formulas to track my spending. This has been a game changer. Expense tracking helps me to be intentional with my spending, and to understand my cash flow in semi-real time. I try to use credit cards for my spending as much as possible for a few reasons. The key is that I view the credit card like a debit card, I track every dollar and I pay it off each month. This has changed my whole relationship with money.
Girl, this has to be THE most relatable video on CZcams!!! The regrets, the courage, the faith! And how you faced it all and structured your way out of it!! You're a true role model, I wish you all the best.
I got myself into and out of debt (all credit card) 3 times before finally maintaining debt free for longer. It happened every 2 years. 2015, 2017 & 2019. Always give yourself grace and never stop trying to do and be better. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I paid off my 2019 debt in 2022 and going strong. I finally got it together . You can do this!!
I had 11 credit cards at one point and felt like I was on top of the world. I was completely delusional! I ended up having to file bankruptcy several years ago. I ended up back in credit card debt. Received 15k from a settlement last June, paid them all off. It felt great! Guess what? I’m back in credit card debt😩. I’m looking forward to paying them off again. Lord, help me! My mind has been renewed. I strive to be a good steward of God’s money! Best of luck in your (our) journey😊
Thank you so. much!! It is alllll good. We got this..Best of luck to you as well on our journey! 🎉💜
This is literally my exact story! Filed for BK in 2018. Got into a little more debt, bought a house last year and now back in even more debt 🙃 We got this!
Give yourself grace. This world is expensive! ✨🤍✨
Bankruptcy = everyone else paying because you’re irresponsible.

I don’t know, if creditcards in the us works different than in Germany. But here in Germany you not only can make your payment at the end of the month, but you can put money on your card when ever you want. So I started to sit down in the evening and transfer the money I spend my that day back to my creditcard. This way I’m not accidentaly spent more than I have and there is no surprise bill at the end of the month
I wanted to give you a hug at the raw moment of realizing where you’re starting from. I had a similar moment a couple months ago after I paid off all my debt $12k on 12-31-2020... back to 15k earlier this year. I honestly can’t tell you what I bought, like at all. I felt so much shame and still do. However, I was able to get out of debt before, so I know I’m more than capable of doing it again. Lots of lessons being learned ... some I am relearning and some are new. May God bless your journey to be debt free ❤️
You got this. The real tea is if you was able to get out of 12k debt. Your able to save up 12k just the same.
omg appreciate your vulnerability. I’m in the same boat! Paid off over 10k debt between 2019-2021 and now I’m back to over 10k debt again. We can do this!!
This came just in time! I did the exact same thing you did! I paid off all my debt and got my credit straight to buy a house. Bought our house in 2021. Never had credit cards and stuff before... started getting approved and I went out of control. Trying to get back in control now...
I did the EXACT same thing. I got my credit together to purchase a home in 2021. I then started getting pre approved for credit cards, receiving actual loan checks in the mail, my car needed expensive repairs - I purchased an expensive vehicle etc. I am going to have to find a SOLID side hustle. My credit score is still pretty decent, but these monthly payments… Whew Chyle! I came across this video as I am deciding on the best strategy. I wish you ALL the best on your journey!👊🏾
Wow omg
Sorry you have $30k debt. You got this. Most important, you have a plan. Keep us posted ✉️✉️💜💜
It’s so hard because we get on the right track and start paying stuff off and can see the light at the end, but something always happens. *example- my water heater just blew up so $1000 there. My dog had an emergency 2 days later so a vet bill.
It’s like life is trying to kick our butts and we REALLY want to just buy a new house and get out of the unsafe area that we’re in currently for our kids.
The credit card game takes focus. Essentially you have to treat cashack cards like debit cards. Pay it off before the due date and keep your utilization ideally under 10% on each card. Keep a list of your cards and assign each a purpose if you have more than one. Grocery and gas are common categories. If you don't jet around the world you do not need a point card or any card with an annual fee and perks you can't use or convert to cash to help pay down your balances. Good luck!
You have done the absolute toughest part of the journey already - facing the problem realistically and coming up with a plan. You can do this!
I love how you said “I was living my best life-the wrong way!”😂 I totally can identify with that!
I calculated today that I can ve debt free in 4 years not considering any extra income or wage increases!! I'm excited and this video was super motivational
You have no idea how much your videos help me😩. I’m a 28 year old single mom trying to figure all of this out and get it together. Thank you for your transparency❤
You got this Bestie!! I was not thinking about fixing my finances at 28 so hats off to you!!! I was only worried about "looking rich"...smh
Girl same!!!
You can hear the emotional toll it takes on you in your voice as the video goes on. Don’t worry babes, it’s AMAZING that you sat down and made a plan for it. This is the beginning of a great journey, so look at it in a positive light. All the money you’ll be saving in the long run not paying all that interest. You got this! 💚💚
Hello, I’m new to your channel! My name is Kirsten, I’m glad I finally found somebody who is real and not fake.
Thank you for being open and honest about your debt history. When I finished graduate school, I was $18K in credit card debt (a lot of the debt centered around grad school expenses) and I needed to purchase a car. I buckled down and paid off all my credit cards and bought my used car with cash ($11K) all in 1 year. I lived with my mom to save on rent during this time. It was not fun particularly being in my 20s watching my friends traveling, shopping etc. But when I sent the last credit card payment, I felt financial freedom something I had not experienced in a long time. You did it before so you can do it again. I am cheering you on so that you can experience financial freedom again. Good luck!
😁😁 what you didn't know is that those friends were probably also in debt too girl.
So glad you are free.

You know it was the club you ran debt up at
Nice job!
Bestie, a snack was not gonna cut it. I needed a whole meal with a glass of wine 🍷 for this video 🤣. 24:24 I guessed $30,000! I came out of college with $120,000 in debt. I had no stable job lined up but I stayed faithful to that loan with side hustles & got it paid off in 3 years. With a plan in place, you'll have it paid off by the end of this year. Don't feel down, keep your head up. You got this bestie! ❤
Thank you for your transparency and honesty! It’s exactly what I needed to encourage me to face my own debt and get honest with myself. I felt it deeply when you said you had to walk away and regroup and just talk to God and say “God I Trust You.” I was in tears because I know in this journey there can be a lot of shame and frustration. However, through our own vulnerability He will show up for us and allow others to also be encouraged! Thank you!
This was a beautiful comment. Thank you! Be encouraged. When we put feet to the ground we make change. You are in good company Bestie 🫶🏾🤗
I'm so lonely watching my friends enjoy their life while i try to pay things off but we gotta hang in there.
Please don't forget to put something towards your mortgage principal. Met a lady who lost her house after 28 years due to divorce. She told me if she had just paid $10 a month towards the principal the house would have been paid off and she wouldn't have lost it. New subscriber
Don't be discouraged, we have all been there. Pay your minimum payments and once you have your emergency fund set you can concentrate on your bills
12 mins in and loving your personal accountability. You don’t hear that often enough!!! So many people blame lenders. You get it.
Your transparency was so refreshing. I literally feel you on this in so many aspects..when you you admitted you was living your best life and ignoring your budget that's when I knew we really were besties! Girl. You speaking my language and making no excuses just solutions. No beating ourselves up for the mistakes we made just accept them and keep it moving. You don't know how many heart's you have touched with this video and you just gained a new bestie boo! We are in this together !
We are in this together!! Bestie!!! Now we have to live our best lives...The right way 😂. Thank you for being here and subscribing to my channel and coming along the journey with me. I appreciate you!
Having a hight credit score is great, but most people don’t know that banks also look at your debt to income ratio. I’ve work for a financial institution for years, and the majority of people I came across have no idea that If your debt to income is above a 50%, you won’t qualify for a loan even though you have a decent credit score
I love real life stories like this! I’m the same! Paid everything off and purchased a home in 2020 and here I am in 2023 starting over! Funny thing is I tried the cc point thing and lost my mind too 😂😂
Right! 😂 We seem to be twins...Thank God...If we did it once, we can do it again
My suggestion is instead of a monthly credit score. Move that to quarterly but on the monthly portion you should use to keep track of your net worth? Which I think would be a lot more helpful and motivating. When you see from month to month, your negative net balance # is going lower. Which is a good thing!
Girl I hope you realize how inspiring this is! I’m also in so much debt that I’m embarrassed to say it out loud, I got carried away with credit cards too and didn’t know how to budget properly. I have now started to budget and I’m making a plan to pay it off. This is so inspiring to me because paying debt is not easy when you still need to pay your other bills. I love how you have a plan. Usually all the other budgeting channels i see, they always show the rainbows and sunshine of cash stuffing but rarely do I find real channels like yours where they show real people have debt! I thank God I found your channel and this video because Lord knows I needed it! I’m encouraged thanks to you and your honesty, Praying we both are debt free in Jesus Name! ❤
Don’t be embarrassed rather, get encouraged and tackle it one obligation at a time. These debts will not follow us once we have taken our final breath so don’t allow it to control your present life. You may find that sharing it will help release the embarrassment and keep you inspired to stay focused! You will be successful 🎉
The fact that you admitted you are in ``debt`` makes you a real heroine. You are in the same boat that alot of folks are in. Covid did a number on alot of folks finances. Also sometimes little things we do can add up. Two For Tuesday Meals, Coffee Shops and buying things on Amazon. That can really affect you. You will get out of it. You are at least trying. On Caleb Hammer`s Channel, there are folks who don`t realize how small things can affect them.
You got this! Good luck! 👍🏻
Awee! Thank you! I appreciate your comment. Yes, it is pretty real..LOL. I am glad that you found my channel as well. It is so good to be amongst people who are dealing with the same struggles 💜
@@missyelle2749 Thank you!!
I’ve been following you for almost two years and THIS video reminds me of why I do-your honesty and transparency about how your debt started is very familiar to me and relatable. I started with a $500 credit card in college and it spiraled down from there. I was able to purchase my first home this summer but I still have personal loans, three credit cards and a car loan on top of it. Never feel embarrassed or sad about your situation. The fact that you are hitting the hammer at it now rather than later is a good thing. Your “besties” are on this journey with you. We are all on the same road…just in different cars.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment! I am glad that we can fix and get out of debt and it is not what I thought...LOL. We are here together!
OMG you are sooo transparent! This is going to help many. Remember you didn’t get into debt overnight so it will take you some time to get out. Just keep working the plan. BTW I want a physical copy of the workbook 💵
Thank you! You are right! Thank you for letting me know...I am going to really consider a physical copy.
My debt started with college. I never had a credit card up until last year (I paid that mug off though), but those loans are unforgiving! I’m almost done paying off my grad loan, but it’s the undergrad that makes me want to run outside booty naked.
You caught my interest a few months ago when you were playing catch up with your different bills. Admitting to the debt is the first step to getting it gone. I’m rooting you on for this journey. You have a plan. You’ve been working this budget, now add the debt. Just think how nice it will be to have that extra money to be all yours.
We are rooting you on bestie. ❤❤❤
Thank you sooo much!!!! I appreciate YOU! Thank you for your support. I don’t know how much it helps!
I’m about to turn 30 and have so much credit card debt from trying to make ends meet! It’s seemed so daunting to tackle it, but your videos really have helped me out and my debt clearing and money saving journey!
You’ll do great!!
You’ve got this, babe! 😊🎉❤
Starting to tackle your debt is your 30th birthday gift to yourself, and a good one. Really! You'll thank yourself later.
Keep your focus on paying them off and keep track of balances and payments. Work either a debt snowball... smallest balance to largest, or list and monthly pay based on interest rate. Snowball gives you a more immediate charge but both work. You can do it!
Call the credit card companies and ask for a lower interest rate in exchange for freezing the cards so you can't use them. This way you won't accrue as much interest
I put myself back into debt this year after paying after off. I’m embarrassed but I also just started my budget /cashing stuffing journey. & I know it’s going to help me get a better relationship with money and pay off everything once and for all . Thank you for this video ☺️

I need to get out of debt. I have excellent credit and not behind on anything I just have over $25,000 in credit card and loan debt. I don’t want to not pay the bills or file bankruptcy and ruin my credit. How it’s it possible when I barely have $300 to last a month after paying bills and the minimum on credit cards. We can’t survive on $300 so we keep using the credit cards it’s never ending.
Im proof being debt free can happen. It takes dedication, patience, resourcefulness and a positive attitude. You CAN do it!!
Just put a lock or freeze on those credit cards, side hussle and grind until you reach your goal! That’s my plan I’m in debt too. I believe in you, you can do this!
Thank you for being so open and talking about your plan. I'm currently roughly 14k in the hole. Spread out between credit cards and dental bills. I'm grateful that I am doing this and getting rid of it while I'm without kids, but we still are a single income household due to my fiancé's intense college program (unpaid internships are a scam). I have already paid off 7k since the beginning of this year and I hope to be completely free by next year. I know we can do this, it's just so hard. I'm praying for the girlies who are doing this as single parents; y'all are strong and I believe in you.
I use credit cards for everything to get the cash back. I keep an updated apple notes balance with interest rate highest to lowest and balance. I cross it off after it’s paid and if I use the card. I add it back. Then I add my installment loans from highest interest to lowest interest. This simple method has helped me a ton. Then I schedule all payments before my paycheck hits. 😊
Girl make sure the 401k loans are paid off because God forbid you lose your job the money is due within 30 days 😫
What are the 401k loans exactly? I've read online that this is a loan someone can take out from the own retirement fund or so? Is that correct? So it's your own money you borrow?
If these need to be paid back within 30 days --> that's actually a killer 😵💫😵💫😵💫
My goodness! I have found my tribe! 😅I am currently in debt AGAIN after paying off my third consolidation loan!😢😩 I've just been approved for a Navy Federal platinum credit card with a low interest rate. I am about to transfer all of my debt to that one card so that I can see my debt in one place! It's so overwhelming seeing payments for multiple credit cards being withdrawn from my bank account every month! I have promised myself this is the last time!! Because I can't keep giving these people my money! Lol
I’m so glad my mom taught me about budgeting and how the points for cards work.
You’re my favorite person on CZcams to learn about budget, finances, money, etc… you’re so honest and informative. Thank you!!!

The Budget Moms is a good channel eith sound, workable advice and plans to budget andvget out of debt.
what are your plans to resist temptation of getting back into debt when you pay them off?
That has to be addressed. The cause of spending and shift from that desire to spend.
You'll have to get to the root of why in order to brake the cycle of spending so you can have an abundant life and freedom.
Abandoning the budget is the sure way of getting into debt. There are people who can keep mental track and don't need a budget but the majority of us need to be writing that out to make we don't overspend and use money we don't have.
THANK YOU!! for this real and honest talk. Your story is so similar to mine. I am 50 years old with a good job and want so badly to buy a house, but i get stuff paid down and it goes right back up again. I feel like I am going around in circles. I am making a plan TODAY!
I was debt free and paying down the house with a decent savings on the side . Hubby’s hours went down, kiddo got a bad diagnosis with very expensive monthly meds and the roof had problems and now needs replaced. 30k savings gone in a few months and 15k in debt. I needed this
Soo relatable, almost same story! Can’t believe i got myself in debt, but blessed to have a memes to take care of it. I just did a debt plan for 2024 it took me 6 hours to plan my year but I’ll be out of debt 95% before year end! Well except student loans, I don’t count that 😂 i wish everyone well & hope that everyone share their journey with their kids, family & friends!
It happens to all of us Sweetie! I've been years without CC debt. One trip to fix things on our RV ( we live full-time in it) and we're aver $10,500 in debt again!! Got it down to $5145 and still working on it!!!
Thank you 🙏🏽 so much for your raw honesty. I know that was hard. But this video is helpful to so many and most importantly, it was helpful to you!
I thought the debt would be $10,000 too.
A lot of people in high consumer debt hide in shame. But we are all human, not superheroes. Nobody is perfect.
There are some “gurus” online bragging about how they have a lot stashed in savings/investments but not revealing their true credit card debt, their huge student loan payments, their huge car payments, their underwater mortgage, their high rent etc.
That first story you told about the credit card debt was so relatable. I had cards maxed out and go into collections my 20’s and 30’s too. But I use my two cards responsibly now - in my 40’s.
Not enough people talk about how bad credit is a prison and how it can adversely affect your life.
I applaud you! 👏🏽 Great video!
Your video popped up in my news feed…like I needed to hear some real info and be assured I am not alone. I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to paying off debt. Thanks for the video.
I'm starting my debt free journey too and also documenting it on my channel. Not only for full transparency because it's such a taboo subject but also to keep myself accountable. I found this video during my research and I am subscribing considering we are on the same journey. It's nice to see others being so open about it ❤ wishing you full financial freedom in the near future, it's a tough world out there 😅
Thanks for being so upfront and honest. You are going a great job
Might be a good idea to check what $ amount you pay for interest per month also. Those minimum payments won’t fully come off the principal. Helps with calculating time it will take to pay off
You’re already on the path 🙏 you got this
Thank you for sharing. We have similar amounts of debt - and I have a plan to be debt free in 4 years, which is WAY shorter than I thought it would be! Don’t be too discouraged!
Girl we have been there and are there now!
i admire you for your transparency.....but life happens and its real. i loveyou.i feel you Sis, i am riding with you, i have my calculator too, we stoppin at McDonald's for the 2 for 2 zero sugar vanilla iced budget lattes!
I am retiring in 5 years. I will have everything paid off in 4 years. This includes my car. It was tough to see it all written down. I just paid off the first of 5 credit cards.
That is so REAL!!!! Thank you for sharing that. Most CZcamsrs don't share the down parts and that's what really encourages some. You got this!!!
Thank you!
Those finance charges are high. Wish you the best. You got this. Prayers.
Keep your head up, love. Aim to payoff this debt in one year. After that you’ll be golden!!! Rooting for you.
I'm glad you said that about the credit card churning. I've seen it multiple times and while it makes sense in theory, I'm always like, I am missing something, there's something they're not sharing for ME to be able to do this successfully.
In 25 years I filed bankruptcy twice. I pay cash for everything needed. I have no vehicle, use public transportation. I just bought a HP printer, paper and ink for $88 on Amazon but I spent none of my own money because I do many things online to get Amazon gift cards and PayPal.
You got this! Thank you for being so transparent with us.
Thank you!!
Wonderful testimony. Truthful and honest.
I don't know why i feel like tour debt is my debt in a sense. I can relate to this im in the same situation the only difference is that im not working right now. But when i start back working i will tackle my debt like a storm. 💜💜
So refreshing to come across someone willing to share honestly. The first step to getting out of a hole is to stop digging. I wish you continued success in your journey towards a debt free future!!
Thank you so much!!
New subscriber here! I love honest budgeters who doesn’t act like their finances is perfect!
Yes! I hate following budgeters that have stacks and stacks of 100s to put in envelopes, while telling us what to do with our $20 bills 🤔
Thank you so much for subscribing and being here!!
I know it's heavy love... but you can do all things through christ that strengthens you. You can, and you will pay off the debt. One debt at a time and one step at at a time and most of all one day at a time. Have grace on yourself, and don't be too hard on yourself. You'll get out of it, and you'll stay out of debt, too. We are rooting for you and support you!
This is no longer about not understanding, but rather choosing to be irresponsible.
Hello, thanks for your vulnerability! I loved your honesty of how the slow allure pulls us right back in, after getting out of debt, bin there too many times over.
Please help us get out of debt with you!! I am so glad that you are persevering and not letting 2 times in debt stop you from succeeding & I trust God that you will! You’re talented and have done it before twice, you will do it again and invest and go to the next level!! So happy for you, don’t stop! Thanks for sharing and educating us all. I want to follow you now and do this journey with you! Be patient and don’t buy stuff too fast I did $30K in one year on home furnishings. Do teach us how you do the purchasing of real estate too! Not sure if I like that budget aspect of the work 😢that has to be done, but it is the thing we have to do! Thanks, Arlene (Miami)
Definitely subscribed. Your honesty in your own shortcomings make you more "real" and like someone who has been there done that and is honest about it.
Heyy Jazz please also set a realistic time frame on when you want to be debt free from that total amount. I notice when we put short time frame on it we get overwhelmed. So for ex just say a year and half or maybe 2 years you plan to have the debt paid off. It might take less time but at least you won’t feel overwhelmed and can reward yourself if you hit it sooner then plan. That has help me with my debt journey and for me to keep going and not give up.
I think you owe $60,000.00. Love this kind of video. When you was talking I asked myself if you was talking about me. I relate to getting out of debt and getting back in debt again.
THANK YOU for speaking on these darn points. The discipline to not mess it up/get sidetracked is hard. It’s so easy to fall off the path.
I simply love your honesty I think that early you with all the credit cards was pretty much all of us, but now we are wiser and more organized I suppose life has done its job in teaching us through trial and error
Your not alone with that Cap One. Rip off. Life happens. What is important is that you pick yourself up, acknowledge the problem, then come upmwithba plan 👏🏾👏🏾
Rip off sis!!! Can’t wait wait to pay this off.
Just found your channel. I’m in debt 14k 🥺😫 I can’t wait for it to be over.
Mannnn, I'm glad you're soooo transparent. I've wanted to start a Debt Free Journey channel, but my shame has gotten the best of me. Thank you for normalizing that it's okay to restart!!! We support you❤❤❤
Thank you so much! Yes try your best to never be ashamed....Especially when you are doing your best!
Thank you for talking about it… all of it. Thank you 💛
Leveraging the credit for the points only works if you set a spend limit and pay the balance in full every month. My Amazon Card got me hemmed up like that too! So I had to remove it from my Amazon account and remove from my Apple Pay
Really appreciate your transparency!
Thank you for sharing. I need to do this badly.
Thank you for being honest! We appreciate you.
I’m definitely getting this journal! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you for being vulnerable. I found it very encouraging for my own journey. 🙏🏽
I really appreciate your honesty. ❤️
