Beautiful presentation.
Please tell me if you know a device that can convert a signal from an analog camera to an IP signal so that it can be viewed directly on a computer or an NVR?
Thank you.
Thanks Nenea. Yes there but will probably be more cost effective to use a converter and change the camera to IP to get a better camera.
hello, I have a my router, and modem all upstairs in this cabinet in the laundry room in the new Lennar homes. however I am trying to wire PoE cameras and do not want to run wires all the way upstairs. I do have a coax cable port downstairs in the office. am I able to use this device to convert that coax port into an ethernet port that way I can connect my NVR system to the ethernet over coax and then my cameras to the NVR? thank you so much for making these videos.
No problem and Thank you! Yes that is correct, you will be able to use that cable as backbone/link back to your router.
what about the quality of the camera resolution after the coaxial?
Its the same no difference in quality
I assume you can’t get these POE over coax converters without requiring a power supply ?
I have internet router downstairs. I would like to have 1 poe network switch downstairs connected to 3 poe cameras downstairs . Upstairs NVR to 4 poe cameras upstairs. What and how many devices do I need to use my home existing coax cable from downstairs to upstairs to connect all poe cameras downstairs and upstairs to NVR upstairs.
can i use it on internet?
Yes you can use it on your local network, however you will be limited to 100Mbps. We do have other coax converters that allow 1GB.
Is there a supplier in USA? Thanks
