Lately I've been saving the plastic containers from my berries, tomatoes and produce as well as the stickers on my fruit for awhile in case there is a recall for grower references 😮
Thru-out the years family members have laughed at me for putting grapes or cherries or strawberries in a container, rinsing them good, then filling the container with water before placing in the refrigerator. Just something I learned to do long ago for my sense of a safety regulation.
There is also a tuna recall. From june 27. For California. Fresh yellowfin tuna for high histamine levels. I dont even know what that means. Sounds like an expensive item, but ongoing recall.
Histamine is an agent in your body that sets off allergic reactions ( the reason antihistamines are needed). I wasn't aware it was present in sea water. Although, with some countries allowing Lord knows what to be dumped in the seas, nothing should surprise me.
I think if it doesnt have milk its sorbet. Sherbert is gross (to me) over sweet fruit flavored ice cream. Fruit ice is delicious and refreshing. I'll be right over.😊🎉
The answer to your Security issue with avocados is that USDA inspectors were attacked while inspecting Avacado farms in Mexico. The USDA has withdrawn all their inspectors for safety concerns. So no inspections, no Avocados from Mexico.
Again, why was the testing done *after it left production? Couldn't they at least test a bag on the way to the truck?🙄 It sounds like, in the case of the spinach, an employee blew the whistle. That needs to happen more often if that was the case.

Potassium chloride tablets have also been recalled. They don't desovle and can cause heart attack.😮
