    Guys, this is the best brake bleed/fill video. Perfect procedure, Filling from the bottom to the top is the best method to ensure there are no trapped or entrained air bubbles. Well done.

    I used this video to perfectly, easily, and cleanly bleed Nutt brakes on a Rad Rover 6 plus e-bike. After seeing so many posts on how difficult this process has been for others, I was reluctant to even try, but I'm glad I did. Did this job in under an hour and for $25 for kit and oil. Thank You!!!!!

    Like others have said, this video is 100% I bled the nutt rear brake on my Mukata 10+ just yesterday for the first time and I've never bled brakes before. Made a mess for sure and had to wipe down the whole caliper with iso but for the first time doing this, it worked great! I certainly wont worry about bleeding in the future. Great video hands down, nice and short and straight to the point. Hats off to you sir.

      Everything worked flawlessly but my brake pads are worn down. I bought X2 brand new ones for front and rear put them both on and front works perfectly but rear pads won't close together to touch the disk. I haven't tried to bleed again but will do tomorrow. Got no brake at all. I've tried to push in pistons and everything in the book no joy. If I bleed it and still no joy what would you think that might caused it ??? There no stiffness in the brake leave it's dead and I've even tried to adjust it no joy. It do feel tho it's lost a lot of oil and loads of air. Somebody said I might have taminated the piston but no oil leak while I changed the pads. Very strange. I'm fuming 😡 it's the exact same hydraulic oiled brakes in this video for my Nanrobot D6+ scooter. Fuming fuming 😡 not your fault mate. Not sure if it's the brakes or lever taminated or what. Wired just from replacement brake pads which are the right ones 😡😡😡😡

    Hello sir! I'm from Austria and have completely converted my scooter Xiaomi 1S (see my last short) and yesterday I bought very expensive Nutt brakes in the scooter shop for €175! But because I removed the oil hoses for the front and rear of all 2 brakes so that I could put the oil hoses in the holes in the scooter and lay them nicely, a little oil came out of the front and rear brakes! I have to bleed the brakes now! I saw your great video 👍 and did the same thing with the rear brake as in your video. Problem: the rear brake pads which I bled just like in your video, when I press the brake levers the brake pads come together but they don't go all the way back to their original position! 🤔 But just like in the video, I pressed the brake lever a lot at the end until there was no more air coming in and then I closed this little screw at the top again. I did it a second time but there was enough oil in the rear brake of the scooter motor! Question: Since there is enough oil in the rear brake, I only need to do it at the top of the brake lever so that the pistons go all the way back! Should I just open the small screw at the top and connect the short hose with the 20mm syringe and press the brake lever often until no more air comes out? But could that be the problem because I didn't screw the front brake onto the handlebars and didn't straighten it when bleeding! I screwed the upper brake on diagonally towards the ground and bled it because I can no longer get the upper brake lever open. Does the position of the brake lever at the top of the handlebars necessarily have to be screwed on and placed in a straight position? Could this be the problem why my pistons don't go all the way back in the NUTT brake because I had the upper brake lever towards the ground and not in a straight position like in the video?? Kind regards 🙂

    Was going to do a full bleed and change my pads but before I did so just wanted to know a few extra things
    Would I be able to remove the pads and just put the block into the calliper without the old pads do the bleed and replace with new pads after? Or should I replace the pads first then do the bleed
    Last thing on my rear break I had an issue and had to realign my calliper with the adjustment screws on the top (that allow the calliper to move back and forth) when I replace the pads should I unscrew them and hold the break down and tighten them to align the breaks? Or is that not how it’s done
    Thank you a lot if you get back with a reply :)

It’s not the proper way at but it still works and you get about the same results. I would only bleed if my oil too old like let’s say after a year.

I realize the problem here is me, but it's like an epidemic now, a verbal tick that's spread throughout the entire English speaking world. Now that I'm noticing it, it's like nails on a chalkboard.

      @SolarScootersuk  Před 2 lety

      If you fill the brake tubes full while brake pads are engaged (no brake block) they won’t open again, they’ll be engaged constantly.
      So you have to fill the brake’s with fluid with brake block inserted to keep it from engaging.
