I too faced the same issue when I was following my coaching blindly. I always tried to complete all exercises and hw questions along with classes but some or the other topic used to get left out. The worst thing which happened after that is that my board exams didn't go too good because I lacked basic understanding of topics. After board exams, I stopped going to my coaching thinking that the same cycle will continue, but then as time was less, I wasn't able to complete all topics and ended up studying the same few topics which I knew. I still don't know many topics like complex numbers, rotational motion, areas perfectly and now I don't have enough time to master them as I've to give jee advanced this year. I'm feeling very bad about my studies, like I was never so much horrible in studies and never left too much portion. I am not taking drop because I'm feeling so burnt out that I just can't study the topics of jee.
Please please please please please prtham bahiya make a video on pw modules tell us whether it is sufficient or not because there is too much chaos going in the market..............
This is one of the reason's I Always stay ahead of The class, I always complete the chapter in 4-5 days the chapters is started, this way I get more 5-10 days to study extra, and solve tougher books.
i actually never thought of it that way... I used to just revise whatever our teacher gave and i noticed that at the end of the chapter he gave a lot of homework and i still havent finished it and just thought it was normal, but apprarently not. Thank you 🙏

I would like to share my experience on this Bhaiya
My coaching had a solution for this they decreased class no. From 3 to 2 but increased the time of each class half an hour and also they hold the discussion classes for 2 days

From my experience, staying ahead of the class proves to be very beneficial as normally in class i dont usually have the confidence to attempt the problems given by the teachers which pretty much results in underconfidence in the whole chapter for a while. This ends up in me doing the theory by myself again, due to which i dont get much time for problem solving which is the main part! From now on i will study the base theory part before the class (and of course revise the previous class) and find the questions based on the concepts covered after the class and attempt them the on same day.

My brother is preparing for sof Olympiads(standard 4). For maths he asked me to give him a question as he is really good at maths. I gave him a question which I knew He could never solve. The question was to finish this series and find the pattern : 0,1,4,9_, _, _, _,(Yes, I left many blank spots as he was being overconfident about how good he was at maths). In 5 -7 mins he found all the answers correctly, I thought he must have learnt it at school, when I check his method, solved it in the following way.0+1=1 ; 1 +3 = 4 ; 4 + 5 = 9 ; 9 + 7 = 16; 16 + 9 = 25 ; 25 + 11 = 36(he added odd numbers to 0) and this pattern continued till 64 and this always continues.Its amusing for me

Best method to avoid backlogs is to cover things beforehand cuz there are many resoureces to help. What i do is covering most of the things of any chaper before chapter is thought 😅
i have also same issue and when shared with my teacher and he said that toppers also have 24 hours manage accordingly
This is very relatable. Never thought like this.
So to sum it up you have to make the slanted graph straight, by doing a little bit extra everyday or being ahead of the Teacher so that you don't end up with a lot by the end of it. ❤️
