I am student of Pw pathshala and prayas batch ….the only think I hate is most about Pw is when new batch come they start building it and live old one…..in both batch Pw has not completed its advance revision …..and in the name of advance study they solve only jee advance PYQ , one chapter only in 2-2.5 hours…….

I'll leave my story here. This is a story about my shift from emotionality to practicality.
I was one of those stupid toppers in my 10th who judged pw over looks and went towards the shiny good looking khan academy vids, and the time I realized my mistakes was in 11th, when my online coaching institute was practically shitting in all forms and pw was the only reason that I would go through those 1.5 hr Google meet lectures and still be sane and alive.
After listening to those silly jokes, comedies, singing and the very absurd but brilliant ways which alakh sir used, I grew very fond of him.
It was during this time when the tina mam and sir incident happened, and even Sachin sir physics made a video before that, and these things made me a real unacademy hater. Even a brilliant creator like crashup when joined unacademy went complete dormant which increased my hate. Please note this that like every other hater, I DID NOT KNOW ANY TEACHER OTHER THAN NAMO KAUL SIR (Whom I still don't like), AND DID NOT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH UNACADEMY WHATSOEVER.
I was one of those kids who had downloaded every motivational pw vid, and had complete note of every conspiracy or jhamela happening.
Now, it's time for jee. I had wasted my 12th due to depression but after getting cured, I was fighting.
Guys, believe me or not, unacademy atoms was a BOON for my preparation. Teachers like Sakshi mam, and the legendary NV sir helped me a lot with their bounceback lectures, for at that time, jee wallah was making either 1 hr or directly 10 hr one shots, and I needed something in the middle.
I'll make this clear. You guys are aspirants. You are NEVER seeing these teachers on purpose again after your exams. Right now, you have to only see WHAT SUITS YOU AND WHAT DOESNT. DONT FIGHT A WAR THAT'S NOT OF YOUR CONCERN. DONT BE ANDHBHAKTS. BE WHAT YOU ARE TRULLY CAPABLE OF BEING. which is

As a Student of both PW Lakshya JEE and Unacademy Plus, I can say that PW is the best for JEE MAINS but not at all sufficient for Advanced. Unacademy has far better teachers like MC, PM, Sameer sir and Nishant sir who take your problem solving approach to Advanced level. Also PW has lot of mistakes in its material and the Test Series are not even close to JEE ADV level. Unacademy tests ( Mainly those of ASHISH ARORA sir ) contain several new concepts which enhance our thinking skills and will ultimately help us get into our Dream IIT. I hope no one is offended, this is my experience for 1.5 years with both Institutes.

I just want to say one thing. Back in 2008 09, when Byju's founder Byju Raveendran used to teach CAT aspirants in a auditorium, the whole auditorium became packed with students with hardly any space left. This was the popularity of Mr. Byju at that time. But things changed when Mr. Byju eastablished his edtech platform Byju's. Everything was going smoothly at first as intended but this didn't work for long. As Mr. Byju had himself stopped teaching and focussed solely on the business side of Byju's. Byju's profits fell by a huge margin with every passing day.
Same story goes for Unacademy's founder, who is an AIIMS doctor turned IAS, Roman Saini.
The very same 'might' happen with PW as well. When he taught, his white board teaching along with left hand glove duster was miles better than any Unacademy's superior tech or teacher. But now the same pattern is repeating. Alakh Sir is focussing more on the business side and has stopped teaching altogethere.
I'm kinda more of 'emotionally' attached to Alakh Sir rather than his coaching institute PW. But now when Sir himself his not teaching then...dard hota hain yaar...
What I think about Unacademy teachers is that they spend a lot of the time to advertise about their courses...
which turns the lecture somewhat less energetic...
Coming to PW they have made separate videos if you want to enroll with their courses and if you're watching their lectures, you'll rarely find their long ads between their lecture. They don't compromise even with their quality of youtube lectures...
2nd thing which I have seen is that once my friend was sad because he couldn't solve NCERT Physics problem, then the physics teacher of Unacademy said "tu chhod de padhai likhai, jao dusre competition ki taiyaari karo". Which hurted him badly
coming to PW, the teachers assure you that it all depends on your hardwork, even if you are impaired with your basics or concepts. They will provide you everything related to basics... Now they have made separate lectures for those students who have problems with their basics so that they can work upon that...
(THIS IS HOW THEY RISE CONFIDENCE OF A STUDENT WHO IS POOR IN STUDIES BUT AIMS HIGH)
3rd thing, Unacademy always illustrate their platform as a market, may be due to this they buy high quality teachers of kota.
On the otherside, PW illustrates itself as a platform which is aimed only for students welfare and thus, the PW is emotion type of things arise...
4th thing, Unacademy does it's advertisements through IITians like, Nishant, Tharun, Deepanshu raj etc. Even with all those youtubers who are getting more in contact with aspirants. Which creates a psychological impact, I know it's a marketing strategy which most of the companies do, I don't have to do anything with that. But the thing is those IITians start favouring Unacademy instead the real institute from where they studied (Paisa bolta hai...)
Like Nishant did self study during his drop year and got IITD but supports students to take subscription in Unacademy because he will also earn from that...

5th, Now coming to shortcoming of PW, A hype is getting created among aspirants... They feel that since they have took admission in PW then they are definitely gonna crack IIT and most of them lack in hardwork and get polarised towards hype and what they call as PW is emotion. Some teachers (5-10% approx) in PW try to make lectures fun but then their lectures lack in providing the focus which is required while attending any lecture.
But overall, my opinion is if you're a hardworking student you don't need to enroll in any coaching institute, just be highly disciplined, determined, hungry for studying hard and make everyday with your hardwork. You'll definitely gonna crack it. If you lack here then yes go for coaching institutes, aspirants require coaching institutes because coaching provide guidance, lectures etc.

whatever you wrote is completely true and to the point. but i want to add a few more shortcomings of pw. 1) bhai pw ke test series ek dum bakwas hai. wo log simply kisi book se ya fir jee ke pyqs dal dete hai aur bs khtm. whereas fiitjee khud questions bnata hai. in every test at fiitjee more than 60% of the questions are handmade by the hods. same is the problem with the material of pw. unhone khi se copy kiya hai but fiitjee ka experience itna hai ki unhone khud questions bnae hai. and one more thing pura india janta hai ki fiitjee ka aits sbse jyada tough hota hai, tougher than jee adv jo ki shi bhi hai kyoki isse hm difficult questions ke used to ho jate hai. 2)bhai tera 5th point ekdm shi hai pw ke andhbhakts boht hai india me. 3) pw ka syllabus ese define hai ki wo log mains ki tyaari toh kr wadete hai but adv ki nhi. 4) aur pw results boht inflate krke btate hai. but baaki coachings nhi krti ye. 5) baaki coachings ko pta hai ki kb konsa chapter krwana chaiye isliye unhone boht sare modifications kiye hai but pw ka planner dekh ke lgta hai ki koi exp hi nhi hai unke pas. 6) basically what i feel is ki pw aapke thode boht basics strong krta hai but ekdum best preparation ke liye you must join some old coaching. aur pls ye pw vs unacad vs aakash vs allen vs fiitjee vs reso vs etc bnd krdo. bhai tumlog pw ko baaki old coachings se compare krke un old coachings ki bezzati kr rhe ho. unka boht jyada exp hai. alakh pandey sir jb bcche the tbse ye coachings exist kr rhi hai.
and one last thing: do you guys remember jb kuch time pehle nano car aayi thi toh tata ne uski advertising ese ki thi ki sbko lg rha tha ki this car is only for poor people. same is happening with pw. bhai india me every 100 me se 80 logo ka manna hai ki pw is for poor people and for those who are poor at studies. yhi ek reason hai ki pw me results nhi aate. kyoki pw me whi bcche padh rhe hai jo padhai me acche nhi hai.

As a student of both Lakshya JEE and Unacademy, I would say:
1) For Physics: Rajwant Sir's content is upto Advanced level and problem practice sessions are also more than enough. So, both Unacademy(Nitin Sir, NKC sir etc) and PW are equally good for Physics.
2) For Maths: Sachin Sir's lectures and dpps are sufficient for JEE mains according to my analysis of 4 months. That's why I follow NV Sir ❤ and Anshul Sir for Advanced problem practice.
3) For Chemistry: Clear NO for Pankaj Sir Organic and Sarvesh Sir chemistry. Pankaj sir teaches only superficially (No detailed mechanisms) And Sarvesh Sir teaches very slow and very basic. (Although I have watched and I will watch all the lectures of them in future because I don't wanna miss anything even if I have to study from both teachers).
For Organic, I follow MKA sir the legend.
For IOC, PM Sir.
For Physical, BJ Sir.
And test series of PW and Unacademy are equally good.

No bhaiya,, apne kaha ki Unacadmy per teacher select kar sakte hai same essa hi pw main hai for example subject maths I have 4-5 teachers,, 1st teacher I got in arjuna 1.0 and 2nd teacher I got in arjuna 2.0 these 2 teacher I got in ( 3000-4000 rupee only) and then if I buy khazana in ( 500 rupee only for maths) so i got 5 teacher recorded lectures, dpp etc and for doubts,,, I can buy saarthi so I got live teacher and I can discuss about my doubt by comment or by image or by video call or by audio
Ohh acha. Then I suppose difference is of options available.

And khazana feature and sarthi program abhi july month main start hua hai
6:13 pw me recently ye feature bhi available hai, 1.0+2.0 version of a batch is available with previous year batches (eg. Yakeen 1.0 + 2.0 + yakeen 2022 and 2021)

Also, study material in unacademy is abundant and you can directly talk to teacher in class and also easily interact in telegram due to small strength because every subject every course have different groups.

I m pw student...myself..their lecturs are just amazing and especially maths..but module's I hv also realized what he said is ryt..there is nothing wrong in it..accept the reality..we hv to do nothing with which coaching ,which platform etc.. we r students.. our karma is to study..to jo sahi ho use hi follow Karo...don't get emotionally connected to anything so much..but yes I hv no words for their content in lectures..specially maths..Sachin sir op....but practice some other book.

unacademy is quite unorganized as there are no proper mock tests and teachers teach as if they are revising the chapter rather than teaching the chapter from basic level . //// if you are a average or below average student then please go for pw and dont get excited by seeing the top quality teachers at unacademy they somehow assume that you have already learnt the chapter from basics and they complete the theory in haste and start problem solving after initial 2-3 lectures ...... please dont get in the trap of high fees = high quality it is not the case always ... it was my big mistake of underisimating pw and overistimating unacademy .... it is also the major reason for my weak class 11..... so choose wisely

padhne wala bacha kahi se bhi rank nikal lega 🤣 bro thats only said in PW by Rajwant sir but in reality thats not true ki padhne wala bacha kahi se bhi rank nikal lega JEE mains k liye bola hoga sir ne par JEE advanced level par IQ aur sochne k direction matter karti hai aur pw mein woh nahi hai advanced practice sessions k naam par sirf mains k pyqs aur advanced k easy wale pyqs karate hai PW is not sufficient for advanced i was a student of lakhsya, prayas and arjuna i bought all the batches thinking that this teachers do not teach advanced other might but at last i realised the platform is a garbage so i switched on to unacademy and took 6 months subscription and i have scored 193 in mains 1st attempt and hoping of 220+ this attempt and now preparing for advanced i have seen advanced revision series in pw for revision but they taught only basics in name of advanced questions 🙄 also coming to price if you see price than it's better to buy PW and not unacademy but if you see content of PW and unacademy, unacademy is far more better than PW so thats the choice of students if they want to study they prefer content,for eg in PW dpps there are 10 questions in one DPP and none of them are advanced level not even mains level so if you practice them you will get confidence and get satisfaction and thank PW that you solved all questions but that was just tooo easy bro, coming to modules Peheli baat to yeh errors hai bohut and then the level of questions are not advanced level,in the advanced exercises also basic questions are given that will just give you satisfaction but not Selection whereas in unacademy teachers give you high quality modules(like nucleus,KS sir)far better than PW,also teachers like pankaj Singh sir, AG sir solves irodov and give homework from them and you can come on voice chats to discuss your doubts and so on and also in maths Anshul Singhal sir jitna material ek chapter mein dete hai utna to pure saal mein pw mein nahi milta hoga quality wise and questions wise also also on unacademy after completion of syllabus advanced batches like brainanza are there that boosts your preparation to Olympiads level and you can solve many materials as you want of different teachers also there are dedicated batches for revision at end of year but in PW only some session having advanced in their names but not in the content 🤣

i also studied from unacademy atoms but only chem and maths and got 7720 rank a girl candidate also preparing for advance from mohit tyagi ,,, earlier i used to hate all unacademy channel liked only pw whwether they sometimes made us fool in manzil and all so i became a dropper then took atp star alongside bounceback of unacademy atoms first unacademy channel which busted my myths of unacademy having only bad teachers then advanced qs were like apiece of cake for me so guys dont go by name i got 99.15 also to mention not a pw hater as my frnd got 98. 3 from their prayas so i think their yt lecs are scam get hteir batches if you want also get coaching in 11th as i had never studied jee in 11th or 12th onnly after boards got cancelled i began my prep so please decide properly

For those who are saying competishun is better
Let me express my view after 1 year in pratham batch
1. Very fast from the start unlike other coachings where students are given time to settle with the sudden change in studies, here in competishun it's very fast from the beginning (yes it is a disadvantage unless you have already started preparation before 11th)
2. Interaction with students is almost negligible during class (except physics and OC), specifically maths become boring without any interaction. So yeah unless you like straightforward lecture without even a wastage of a second then go for it or else it's a major disadvantage.
3. The competishun modules are edited copy of resonance modules, you'll face a lot of issues with the modules as they'll send you a xerox copy of it. Believe me xerox copy is way worse than you imagine.
4. MT sir (maths) and ALK sir (ioc/pc) will do very fast calculation and manipulation, until you are fast at maths it'll be hard to follow them.
5. As per them, each class is of 1.5 hours but believe me it'll take around 2.5 - 3.5 hours for each lecture (if you wanna watch on normal speed and you manipulation speed is moderate)
on the other hand
1. Their doubt solving method is by far the best . Your doubts will be solved within 1-2 day after you post it sometimes instantly.
2. Physics is also by far the best available on the whole online method of teaching >ashish arora sir >pw (judging after viewing lectures from all famous teachers)
Frankly speaking if you have money don't dare you choose online coaching, but let's say if you don't have enough money or you live somewhere where no good coaching is available then,

About the multiple teacher option, I think its good to survey different teachers, and find who suits you. But once you have found the one, stick to them. You can use different sources for revision, but for core theory, sticking to one teacher is important in my opinion.
Unacademy is now giving 50k subscription for 4999 sometimes for 4599... ig in offers u can go with it ... cuz the option to choose ones teacher is really helpful and ig if a student is sincere and has consistency then no one can stop that person ... thankyou

i would say that if you could spend 40k-50k for coaching then, Surely go for unacademy, you can learn from any teacher you like, explore multiple batches in just one subscription and test series are also good.

I would just say that there might be some students who out of curiosity study one topic from one teacher and another topic from other teacher when given the option it might be good but mostly flow of study gets disturbed and if provided with good specific teacher discipline and focus factor increases but as it is every coin has two faces and multiple teacher system has its own benefit and loss same with single teacher system

We have live interaction with teacher about require hella out of internet connection about two classes happen regularly require 1.2-1.3 gb net for me it's not affordable much
And yes final thing chemistry lecture and main topics had repeated class to don't forgot concepts but in chemistry all was focus to complete the time limit and end the class as soon as possible
However I came to knew that BCz of all India test series of jee every month helping us a lot also for those who can afford at least one car and can managed to get scholarship in this coaching will be beneficial otherwise pls don't take this
Main thing i forgot that there's lot of technical issue happening in live class so if possible you live in metropolitan city or where aakash coaching has its offline coaching and meet your requirements you can get this .

I think i am the right person to guide on this topic so i feel unacademy is better than pw in terms of quality of teachers,level of tests,interface of app and website
bhaiya i am a pw student .. as you said ki agar kuch promise kiya gaya ho aur wo na diya gaya ho toh galat hai .. pw ka ek batch hai prayas 2 for droppers unhone kaha tha ki advanced tak ka padhayenge lekin advanced ka kuch nhi padhaya na revision na advanced level qns na kuch .. plzz agar ho sake toh raise this issue. i have complain a lot but no one in pw listen this. i hope you can help.
Ma sirf Pw sa padh rha hu but ma kuch teacher khazana sa kar rha hu , kuch teacher arjuna sa aur kuch 2.0 sa

Pw also give choice in teachers. In every batch there are 5 to 6 teachers available for a single subject.

Unacademy jyada fees isliye charge krta hai kyuki multiple teachers ka option deta hai aur un multiple teachers ke multiple batches ka bhi koi dropper 11th wale course lenggth ke lectures nhi dekh skta hai aur 11th wale ko dropper ka samjhne mein problem hogi saara material saari classes quizes even 2-3 saal purane lectures bhi hain jo teachers ab platform pe nhi hai unka bhi sbkuch hai
PW mei Doubt solving ka problem tha but ab SAARTHI aagya hai so i am happy 💖💖☺
