You won't believe, lately I was worried for why am I slow in understanding while the whole class even finishes the question. And after looking to my slow speed I increased my speed WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT. THANK YOU for the video.
That is what I also feel I am now in 11th std final stage almost. When I was at the starting stage of my class 11th I was like I just want to understand the universe. And that's why I took science. I just stick a single to topic for a longer hour than usual until and unless i understand that topic at very good level . But after some time I realize that I don't have that much amount of time to do like this. Because my 11th college starts in september and I was start knowing it ki now I have to just move on.Complete my syllabus as fast as possible. But due to this I don't understand things neatly and I start losing my passion. But now I will fix it again.
in depth knowledge of concepts is CRUCIAL but IIT wants engineers not mathematicians, someone who can solve problems in an efficient and time saving way
Who said IIT wants Engineers only ?? IIT B has one of the most Vibrant Mathematics department in India. National Centre for Mathematics ( NCM ) is also in IIT B. Other IITs like IITK, M , D too have excellent Mathematicians.

As an engineer making critical software, correctness and precision is valued more than how much time you spend to solve the problem, and someone not knowing things in depth is ALWAYS at a disadvantage.
I don't think they want quick solvers only, they want both someone who knows the concept but as well as knows how to apply it, it won't only help in cracking exams but in the long run ig!
I can totally relate with this. In my coaching my teachers and other students say that I am very slow and dumb. I can't answer anything quickly. But I like to study everything deeply and go to concept's origin. But they can't understand 😢
Many serious aspirants are facing this same issue Just go to your couching's doubt center and eat your teacher's head to understand the concept fully Also before doing that do try to understand it at home Your teacher won't be able to say no to you as you have paid the fees and you have right to ask any doubts
@@chetasjani8577 actually the problem is the coaching institute where I go teacher are always busy with other classes that they always postpone the doubt class and my doubt remains unclarified..there even teachers are not fixed..so i just left that for good. Edit: I am talking about a renowned institute not any local one

You should dive deeper into mathematics and start giving Olympiads like KVPY, RMO, INMO. Who knows that maybe one day you can represent India in the field of Mathematics !
When I was in Class 7, 8, 9, 10 and also 11 ..... I was to think the simplest things very critically and Also Intentionally I used to force my mind to think things in very different ways and also whenever I saw Some practical phenomenon I used to corelate those things with my study but on my class 12, I lost this ability Because of fast course completion tendency and also I had backlog of 11 . Every time My mind is like "Bhai time nahi hain faltu sochne main kisi din aur time hoga tho sochenge" At class 12 I needed to do this deep thinking more than ever but I didn't!
Same situation here. When I was in class 6-7 , I used to create diy motors,electrical components etc but i didn't knew how these things work.But when I got whole syllabus on it i don't have time to do. 🥺

when things like that happen, just know that these are the same ppl that themselves dont know what direction theyre going in and probably arent happy with it... hence why they make themselves feel better by bringing others down. hey, I too many times just sit there thinking about the problem in depth while others take it as a race or a quiz... i used to feel dumb but realised its not that im dumb, its that theyre too narrow minded to understand. even einstein said "It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer."

I cleared JEE Adv this year (2023) , and i can fully relate this. I was passionate in physics. I used to take about 5-10mins solving a basic physics problem (not in exam, while Practicing and understanding concepts) which would take less than a minute but i kind of go in flash back and "feel" all those formulas i used to solve the question, while my studymates solved quickly and moved on..
Yes bhaiyya I can relate with it. In my class 10th (in lockdown) I became a type of guy who was passionate in theoretical physics.I took much more time to understand even a simpler problem even in the concepts which i hve already understood(even in sst also), imagining it in very detail. But due to lack of efficient time management and lack of question solving i couldnt cleared even ntse level1. But the passion towards physics remained same till 11th starting. Investing time in more theory and lack of question practice resulted in less marks in mocks which ultimately resulted in less confidence. But even now if i get an opportunity to get into research I will be very glad and again work hard to build much stronger research attitude and bond with science.. ❤️
Before jee I myself found the theory and law of conservation of energy in my 2nd grade used to create theories of my own for every physical situation in front of me. But last 6 months I didn't spend time on my love for physics. But I will definitely do it from now. Thankyou so much bhaiya.😊😊
@@chetasjani8577 when once I was in 2 nd standard and was going to school by school bus I saw a piece of burning wood. It made me think that can we really destroy something. After a lot of thinking I concluded that it's impossible to create or destroy matter. Later I came to know that this was actually previously discoverd concepts that I found.
I can relate to June Wuh very much, I always try to understand the concepts and reasoning behind questions and formulas but life is so messed up that I need to just apply formulas for exam and I just HATE it, I am thinking about taking a drop(It is going to be a drag to convince my father about that) because I want to properly enjoy studying rather than just get into some random IIT NIT or any other college with any random rank in JEE
FIELD'S MEDAL IS THE MOST PRESTIGOUS MEDAL IN THE FIELD MATHEMATICS BECAUSE THERE IS NO NOBLE PRIZE FOR MATHS. THE LAST INDIAN TO WIN FIELDS MEDAL WAS IN 2018, AND INDIA HAS A BEAUTIFUL TRACK RECORD IN FIELDS MEDAL.
India does not have a beautiful track record in fields price. Only two people of Indian origin have won the fields medal. Note indian origin not indian. One field medalist grew up his whole life in canada and the other in australia
IIT dur ki baat, I could not even crack NIT. I am a very slow student, and that preparation for Jee, killed me from inside. I was fascinated by the idea to create things and I thought that IIT is the only place for that. Now, I am in my 3rd year of B-tech CSE, from a state govt engineering college. Things have changed now for me, I thought, what do I love? what is the thing that makes me forget about everything? I am on my journey to find these answers, I got so many things to learn and accomplished so many things, (which I thing is good for a 21 year old), that I came to realise that this is what matters at the end. Yes, I don't have a clear future ahead. Yes, I don't know if can support my family well like those IITians. But one thing is clear, and that is I am doing what I like, what I love, yeah, there is depression, there is lack of knowledge, and obviously there is lack of great people around me. But, whatever is the case, I am learning, I am moving ahead, and every year, I become upgraded from my previous-year-self. THIS IS WHAT MATTERS. A note for those who read this far : I don't know if you are from a prestigious engineering college or not, but trust me, you are doing very good. Trust yourself. There is a story for you : I have a senior, when he was in 3rd year, he started his company, One day he announced that his company is hiring. There were almost over 1k applicants, and the funny part is.....over 80-90% of them were IITians. I was shocked when I saw his face. That day, I still remember, he became emotional and told me one thing, "I am a student of a low tier state govt engineering college, who is hiring students from IIT" And he did !!

I can really relate to this Especially when I was in 12 th standard .I also was very slow because I always used fundamental rather than a formula or so called "trick" . But, eventually I had to let go of this habit because I was too "slow " to solve jee exam!
so finally u stopped this , cuz for jee , u can't just do this.. So finally what was yr rank?.did u make it ?? I want to know what u did to let go this habit , because when i almost did this,, is started feeling after some time that i don't know that concept in depth , earlier if i get stucked in a q , then i used to give it more time cuz i knew that i know the concept in depth , only i need to figure out the way to think for this q . But now., All that is gone , If i get stuck , i just leave that thinking that i might not know something about this .. Yes, I think I can relate with this, I am very passionate about physics,for eg, sometimes while doing problem, I get lost in it and start visualising myself throwing a projectile or rotating a body or some other ways I can add to the situation given in the problem. I think this is the factor that helps me to do most physics pyqs easily. I try to revise my notes many times to to gain a deeper understanding of simpler concepts

Ya, while studying NCERT textbooks, we get to know several in-depth details. For instance, reason behind taking square root of variance to obtain standard deviation (Statistics). i.e. observations' unit gets squared so we take square root to balance it. Similarly, in Physics' Rotational motion to prove axis of rotation to be stationary we can use the relation v=r×omega(r=0), so v=0 so axis of rotation stationary. Understanding any concept in entirely is indeed useful.

Like when I entered class 11 I always asked doubt that were of really basic level and I was often mocked by students and teachers for that thing. This video actually is a lot relatable to me.during my 9th and 10th grade while i was preparing for my nsejs and injso i used to read hc verma in physics on my own and i spent a lot of time on reading theory than solving random promblems, this made me fall in love with phyiscs but now in class 11 i am forced to solve 100s of problems which is hiving me pace but not giving me that excitement.

I observed this thing when I was in kindergarten. Let me tell you the exact story. At that time my teacher was pronouncing a word 'now' whose meaning I didn't knew & thus asked another kid by my side & he also didn't know & probably the whole class didn't know it's meaning but nobody asked it's meaning from the teacher in hindi nor I did as if they were paying no attention to it, I can't remember why. And this was one of the reasons that why I was not able to understand the process of addition in my whole kindergarten because whenever somebody tried to teach me, I was not ready to just memorize the process & they also didn't asked me to memorize it but understand but they were unknowingly trying to make me memorize the process which they did too. Have you ever wondered how the carry forward process works & we get the correct answer & how even the simplest additions work in which the two-digit numbers are written one above the other, what happens in the background when we do that. Later on when I got into Class X, I got a proffessional Maths tutor & he told me randomly. I did not ask but he told that what happens in the background when we do those steps to add the numbers & while common addition we do we work with base 10. And when we add in other bases the answers change, if we will go to understand the base system, it will give a more clear idea about addition & will make you understand the set steps we use like a formula for addition more logically. These things in me were quite high when I was at that age but later it faded to what extend I don't know.
Same in 7th class i hate maths so much but things bacame change when i one day tried to analyze the principle behind that process. i didn't even no why we take LCM when adding or subtracting but luckily i atleast know that the vinculum(line dividing part in a fraction) means the numerator is divided by denominator and keeping this thing in my mind i taken the very basic example of 1/2 +1/2=1 and then taken some more examples and realized that in order to get the right answer we take LCM i know whenever i forget the process of taking lcm i just adds/subtract the numerator and denominator directly but this small input in understanding the basic behind gave me so much clarity similarly l never rotted the formula of mensuration i learnt to derive it from my textbook Except that "π" part but one thing i learnt that the process of learning is more beautiful than the result itself
I can totally relate to that paragraph, in my maths class teacher used to explain something and i always fell behind in the steps while solving, every student kept the pace with the teacher but i was behind and because of that sometimes I wondered if my thinking power is too low but the truth is i used to understand all those steps very thoroughly, same when reading text book I'm a lot slower but everyone says i understand everything after reading it once, what they don't know is I'm way slower than them and i understand the concepts right when reading them slowly
I did such deepthinking for finding logic behind the methodology to find angle bisector line and plane. I was so satisfied when I derived the logic behind it myself. (I am referring to that when dot product is positive we add the unit vector of lines to get acute angle bisector also similar concept in planes) We were told to learn it directly. Also if we derive a thing it becomes easy to recall.
To build a base is so imp. I have just completed 12th and I understood how many of my classmates did questions by just mugging up concepts and not understanding. Same here till 10th I would actively study but after that due to lack of self study time I lagged behind finally when I was approaching 12th board exam I gave up coaching for 2 to 3 months and solely studied ncert and for the first time I felt I had a hold on the concepts.
Relatable for me. I love visualising the concepts. To see the working of a formula, I always love visualising variations and comparing what changes when I play with the variables.
FACTS bro there are many aspirants to whom you give any problem and its a very high probability that they will get the answer but if you ask them about the concepts they will fail and that's getting more often students build only a formula-based approach even in physics and that's the reason I think many students score above 99%ile in mains but can't even clear the cutoff of adv

this is true, sometimes i also think once while doing my problems and questions practise that we have literally have 2 mins to think about the problem and proceeds to solve it , it doesnt mean i am against of it and have hatred about the concept of fast solver but its just that does the problem you skipped isnt just about a time lacking or thing but just it need a little more attention of yours. In two or three years we are prepared to just solve that problem we exactly know about it and skip the problem we dont have a single hint about it. But in a deep way we know a harsh relaity of it, we dont want to accept our failure of not proving us to be wrong, and in life if we are facing a problem there is no other way to skip it you just have to face the problem,....
Till class 10th, I was very passionate about Technology ( not science ) AI/ML , VR/AR but due to Jee I lost that passion, I'm learning the things that I don't really want to learn in the first place and the result is , today after 3 years neither I'm very good in PCM nor in CS/IT , after 15 days I'm going to give jee one last time.
My friend is also a programmer, and full stack developer but had forcefully come to Kota to get into the so called prestigious cse department of the "prestigious" IITs . But he didn't study pcm at all during his time in kota and devoted himself to programming.
@@aaravgulati1194bro I learned calculus in 9th standard for programming. It is all about theories you don't have to solve 50 problems of integration per day for full stack development. So what I am saying is you don't necessarily need to be a high school graduate for being a developer.

Waise you can do AI/ML without calculus but for that you need to skip the theory part and it won't be good in the long run. I just gave my 10th exams and i know 1-10th is easier than 11+ but there was alot of times when I was getting so frustrated just because I couldn't get where did it come from why do we have to do this, it's like if you understood one question than you are supposed to solve other too on same concept but that's not what happens. i completely agree with this and gotta share my exp so i just completed my 12th and my classmate and friend was is a boy from icse board and he questioned everything trying to understand the deep meaning of the things and that i liked about him. Its not easy to search for the deep ans and concepts but he always did i was the class topper and was always happy when he came to me with a ques bcz his questions were always diff and kinda intellect in a sense but he didnt hv the work ethic to compliment his intellect. and he told me his boards didnt go that well. so what i wanna tell is that if u want to really go deep be ready to put in those extra hours otherwise it wont turn out good. And if u hv the work ethic be like Socrates first acknowledge that u in true sense u know nothing and then question everything till u find a satisfactory ans well thats what i did anyways.
I could relate.. Recently i got scolded by my father for knowing the exact reason for getting positive and negative sign of theta in a particular quadrant(trigonometry) ...He said instead of going in depth memorise all siver tea cups..felt very bad.. But no worries .. This video healed me..
Sine is P/H and in second quadrant, P is positive. Moreover H is always positive in all the four quadrants. Hence P/H is always positive, sine is positive in 2nd quadrant. You can think for the other ratios in the same manner.
This guy is literally my personification , i also just visualize the whole physics problem (be it of any concept) to the core and trys to find the answer through the physics working behind the problem first rather than the calculation , but this seems to work against me as the answer lies in the calculation . I would just say that , learn a concept so deep and to that point , that ut feels as intuitive and as basic as breathing or walking to you , so you wont even have to struggle applying the concepts , your instincts applies it automatically.
If by calculation you mean the big calculative problems just use the calculator Or if by calculation you mean forming and solving through big equations that is the life of an engineer man Scientists use their knowledge to find out new information and Engineers use that information and convert it into their knowledge by applying it in real life situations(questions in our case) and understanding deeply the concept covered in that information Go deep into the calculations through fundamental level and find out which step meant what and why was that step taken and how was that step taken and then if you understand it and are able to apply it somewhere else thats called you have gained some knowledge Its a fact that if you understand a concept very deeply you wont be able to apply it at first go (its in information form in your brain) you have to try and try and once you get the solution just apply the information you got in other 100 such cases and then you will be able to say my concept is clear
My point is : for a concept to be clear in such a way your instinct applies it you need to know how to apply it and for that you need to practice applying it you need to struggle to understand on how to apply it and thats what all your mentors means by saying to do hard work in your preparation implies calculation is necessary part to strengthen your concepts *Who are you some kind of nostalgic genius who literally feels everything and finds the answer* If you are running away from calculation you are in wrong direction buddy Even HC Verma said there is no physics without math and there is no math without calculation

One thing you missed, that the Field's medal usually goes to those who are in pure and applied mathematics and almost all the time the theories in this field of mathematics is not useful in application, that is it is not practical. And it s not that I am saying this, G.H. Hardy said this in his own book "A Mathematician's Apology". So, it is not very likely that this statement can be applied to JEE aspirants. But this is also true that the concept should be deep inside your brain and fully understood.

Yes , It is totally relatable but i think under peer pressure and fear of not getting the selection i am losing this quality. One more problem that even though i learned concepts in very depth but i can recall the concept or formula in exam and if a recall it. It might have taken very much time. How to get rid of this problem

This thing is cleared in 'Kota Factory '. I also feel that there is very low time to do research deeply on what we are studying in our foundation two years 11th and 12th. Main point is to gain knowledge about the topic upto that extent which is required level. If we have interest in the things we will follow them, persuing them after graduation.
Truest and with most depth words said If you have interest People don't have interest in such things they just want their seat in good collage They just want quick comfort, quick satisfaction, quick success with less hard work in their future And they find a way to do so is by joining a coaching, they think in two years their life will be set But the reality is only those who have shown *interest in the subject* since their lower classes are able to make it up under 1k rank Its not like those whose interest showed up in 11th itself wont get under 1k the thing is its so very hard to make it in two years which others have in 4 years (talked about JEE advance only anyone can achieve anything in Mains within two years of good preparation)

Oh, I used to criticize myself for doing this ... I remember wasting 10 min on a simple question for which I already had an answer just to think of my own quick solution. Now I know it's not wasting my time but was an investment of my time 😊
I have the same problem, I am not very good at maths and thus like to take time to solve advanced problems due to which my daily tasks were not getting done. So now I am focussing more on Physics and chemistry.

JEE is now like more of a memory game. How much you can retain in your mind with partial understanding of concepts. This exam is mainly to select engineers, not physicists, chemists or mathematicians. If for 2 years i.e. 11 th and 12 th , child studies PCM happily and play with the subjects, then it doesn't matter what kinda rank he/she is getting. It's like, studying should not be considered as a burden. It's just that India's population is high, then you have to keep exams highly competitive to select just a few. This coaching game will remain sad reality of India until or unless parents themselves do not realize that every profession is great.

I am now in 11th std final stage almost. When I was at the starting stage of my class 11th I was like I just want to understand the universe. And that's why I took science. I just stick a single to topic for a longer hour than usual until and unless i understand that topic at very good level .

Because my 11th college starts in september and I was start knowing it ki now I have to just move on.Complete my syllabus as fast as possible. Who said IIT wants Engineers only ?? IIT B has one of the most Vibrant Mathematics department in India. National Centre for Mathematics ( NCM ) is also in IIT B. Other IITs like IITK, M , D too have excellent Mathematicians.

When I was in Class 7, 8, 9, 10 and also 11 ..... I was to think the simplest things very critically and Also Intentionally I used to force my mind to think things in very different ways and also whenever I saw Some practical phenomenon I used to corelate those things with my study but on my class 12, I lost this ability Because of fast course completion tendency and also I had backlog of 11 . Every time My mind is like "Bhai time nahi hain faltu sochne main kisi din aur time hoga tho sochenge"
At class 12 I needed to do this deep thinking more than ever but I didn't!

I cleared JEE Adv this year (2023) , and i can fully relate this. I was passionate in physics. I used to take about 5-10mins solving a basic physics problem (not in exam, while Practicing and understanding concepts) which would take less than a minute but i kind of go in flash back and "feel" all those formulas i used to solve the question, while my studymates solved quickly and moved on..

Yes bhaiyya I can relate with it. In my class 10th (in lockdown) I became a type of guy who was passionate in theoretical physics.I took much more time to understand even a simpler problem even in the concepts which i hve already understood(even in sst also), imagining it in very detail. But due to lack of efficient time management and lack of question solving i couldnt cleared even ntse level1.
But the passion towards physics remained same till 11th starting.
Investing time in more theory and lack of question practice resulted in less marks in mocks which ultimately resulted in less confidence. But even now if i get an opportunity to get into research I will be very glad and again work hard to build much stronger research attitude and bond with science.. ❤️
Before jee I myself found the theory and law of conservation of energy in my 2nd grade used to create theories of my own for every physical situation in front of me. But last 6 months I didn't spend time on my love for physics. But I will definitely do it from now. Thankyou so much bhaiya.😊😊

I can relate to June Wuh very much, I always try to understand the concepts and reasoning behind questions and formulas but life is so messed up that I need to just apply formulas for exam and I just HATE it, I am thinking about taking a drop(It is going to be a drag to convince my father about that) because I want to properly enjoy studying rather than just get into some random IIT NIT or any other college with any random rank in JEE

IIT dur ki baat, I could not even crack NIT. I am a very slow student, and that preparation for Jee, killed me from inside. I was fascinated by the idea to create things and I thought that IIT is the only place for that. Now, I am in my 3rd year of B-tech CSE, from a state govt engineering college. Things have changed now for me, I thought, what do I love? what is the thing that makes me forget about everything?
I am on my journey to find these answers, I got so many things to learn and accomplished so many things, (which I thing is good for a 21 year old), that I came to realise that this is what matters at the end.
Yes, I don't have a clear future ahead.
Yes, I don't know if can support my family well like those IITians.
But one thing is clear, and that is I am doing what I like, what I love, yeah, there is depression, there is lack of knowledge, and obviously there is lack of great people around me. But, whatever is the case, I am learning, I am moving ahead, and every year, I become upgraded from my previous-year-self.

A note for those who read this far : I don't know if you are from a prestigious engineering college or not, but trust me, you are doing very good. Trust yourself.
There is a story for you : I have a senior, when he was in 3rd year, he started his company, One day he announced that his company is hiring.
There were almost over 1k applicants, and the funny part is.....over 80-90% of them were IITians. I was shocked when I saw his face. That day, I still remember, he became emotional and told me one thing, "I am a student of a low tier state govt engineering college, who is hiring students from IIT"

Yes, I think I can relate with this, I am very passionate about physics,for eg, sometimes while doing problem, I get lost in it and start visualising myself throwing a projectile or rotating a body or some other ways I can add to the situation given in the problem. I think this is the factor that helps me to do most physics pyqs easily. I try to revise my notes many times to to gain a deeper understanding of simpler concepts

Ya, while studying NCERT textbooks, we get to know several in-depth details. For instance, reason behind taking square root of variance to obtain standard deviation (Statistics). i.e. observations' unit gets squared so we take square root to balance it. Similarly, in Physics' Rotational motion to prove axis of rotation to be stationary we can use the relation v=r×omega(r=0), so v=0 so axis of rotation stationary. Understanding any concept in entirely is indeed useful.

This video actually is a lot relatable to me.during my 9th and 10th grade while i was preparing for my nsejs and injso i used to read hc verma in physics on my own and i spent a lot of time on reading theory than solving random promblems, this made me fall in love with phyiscs but now in class 11 i am forced to solve 100s of problems which is hiving me pace but not giving me that excitement.

I observed this thing when I was in kindergarten. Let me tell you the exact story. At that time my teacher was pronouncing a word 'now' whose meaning I didn't knew & thus asked another kid by my side & he also didn't know & probably the whole class didn't know it's meaning but nobody asked it's meaning from the teacher in hindi nor I did as if they were paying no attention to it, I can't remember why.
And this was one of the reasons that why I was not able to understand the process of addition in my whole kindergarten because whenever somebody tried to teach me, I was not ready to just memorize the process & they also didn't asked me to memorize it but understand but they were unknowingly trying to make me memorize the process which they did too. Have you ever wondered how the carry forward process works & we get the correct answer & how even the simplest additions work in which the two-digit numbers are written one above the other, what happens in the background when we do that. Later on when I got into Class X, I got a proffessional Maths tutor & he told me randomly. I did not ask but he told that what happens in the background when we do those steps to add the numbers & while common addition we do we work with base 10. And when we add in other bases the answers change, if we will go to understand the base system, it will give a more clear idea about addition & will make you understand the set steps we use like a formula for addition more logically.
These things in me were quite high when I was at that age but later it faded to what extend I don't know.
Same in 7th class i hate maths so much but things bacame change when i one day tried to analyze the principle behind that process. i didn't even no why we take LCM when adding or subtracting but luckily i atleast know that the vinculum(line dividing part in a fraction) means the numerator is divided by denominator and keeping this thing in my mind i taken the very basic example of 1/2 +1/2=1 and then taken some more examples and realized that in order to get the right answer we take LCM i know whenever i forget the process of taking lcm i just adds/subtract the numerator and denominator directly but this small input in understanding the basic behind gave me so much clarity similarly l never rotted the formula of mensuration i learnt to derive it from my textbook Except that "π" part but one thing i learnt that the process of learning is more beautiful than the result itself

I can totally relate to that paragraph, in my maths class teacher used to explain something and i always fell behind in the steps while solving, every student kept the pace with the teacher but i was behind and because of that sometimes I wondered if my thinking power is too low but the truth is i used to understand all those steps very thoroughly, same when reading text book I'm a lot slower but everyone says i understand everything after reading it once, what they don't know is I'm way slower than them and i understand the concepts right when reading them slowly
I did such deepthinking for finding logic behind the methodology to find angle bisector line and plane.
I was so satisfied when I derived the logic behind it myself.
(I am referring to that when dot product is positive we add the unit vector of lines to get acute angle bisector also similar concept in planes)
We were told to learn it directly.
Also if we derive a thing it becomes easy to recall.
To build a base is so imp.

Same here till 10th I would actively study but after that due to lack of self study time I lagged behind finally when I was approaching 12th board exam I gave up coaching for 2 to 3 months and solely studied ncert and for the first time I felt I had a hold on the concepts.
Relatable for me. I love visualising the concepts. To see the working of a formula, I always love visualising variations and comparing what changes when I play with the variables.

FACTS bro there are many aspirants to whom you give any problem and its a very high probability that they will get the answer but if you ask them about the concepts they will fail and that's getting more often students build only a formula-based approach even in physics and that's the reason I think many students score above 99%ile in mains but can't even clear the cutoff of adv

this is true, sometimes i also think once while doing my problems and questions practise that we have literally have 2 mins to think about the problem and proceeds to solve it , it doesnt mean i am against of it and have hatred about the concept of fast solver but its just that does the problem you skipped isnt just about a time lacking or thing but just it need a little more attention of yours. In two or three years we are prepared to just solve that problem we exactly know about it and skip the problem we dont have a single hint about it. But in a deep way we know a harsh relaity of it, we dont want to accept our failure of not proving us to be wrong, and in life if we are facing a problem there is no other way to skip it you just have to face the problem,....

Till class 10th, I was very passionate about Technology ( not science ) AI/ML , VR/AR but due to Jee I lost that passion, I'm learning the things that I don't really want to learn in the first place and the result is , today after 3 years neither I'm very good in PCM nor in CS/IT , after 15 days I'm going to give jee one last time.

My friend is also a programmer, and full stack developer but had forcefully come to Kota to get into the so called prestigious cse department of the "prestigious" IITs . But he didn't study pcm at all during his time in kota and devoted himself to programming.
How were you doing AI/ML without calculus? Being interested in technology and actually being good at it are two very different things
@@aaravgulati1194bro I learned calculus in 9th standard for programming. It is all about theories you don't have to solve 50 problems of integration per day for full stack development. So what I am saying is you don't necessarily need to be a high school graduate for being a developer.

Waise you can do AI/ML without calculus but for that you need to skip the theory part and it won't be good in the long run. Also, not everyone from 9th standard decides that they are gonna code and become a developer

I just gave my 10th exams and i know 1-10th is easier than 11+
but there was alot of times when I was getting so frustrated just because I couldn't get where did it come from why do we have to do this,
it's like if you understood one question than you are supposed to solve other too on same concept but that's not what happens.

so i just completed my 12th and my classmate and friend was is a boy from icse board and he questioned everything trying to understand the deep meaning of the things and that i liked about him. Its not easy to search for the deep ans and concepts but he always did i was the class topper and was always happy when he came to me with a ques bcz his questions were always diff and kinda intellect in a sense but he didnt hv the work ethic to compliment his intellect. and he told me his boards didnt go that well. so what i wanna tell is that if u want to really go deep be ready to put in those extra hours otherwise it wont turn out good. And if u hv the work ethic be like Socrates first acknowledge that u in true sense u know nothing and then question everything till u find a satisfactory ans well thats what i did anyways.

Recently i got scolded by my father for knowing the exact reason for getting positive and negative sign of theta in a particular quadrant(trigonometry) ...He said instead of going in depth memorise all siver tea cups..felt very bad..
But no worries ..

Sine is P/H and in second quadrant, P is positive. Moreover H is always positive in all the four quadrants. Hence P/H is always positive, sine is positive in 2nd quadrant. You can think for the other ratios in the same manner.

This guy is literally my personification , i also just visualize the whole physics problem (be it of any concept) to the core and trys to find the answer through the physics working behind the problem first rather than the calculation , but this seems to work against me as the answer lies in the calculation .
I would just say that , learn a concept so deep and to that point , that ut feels as intuitive and as basic as breathing or walking to you , so you wont even have to struggle applying the concepts , your instincts applies it automatically.
If by calculation you mean the big calculative problems just use the calculator
Or if by calculation you mean forming and solving through big equations that is the life of an engineer man
Scientists use their knowledge to find out new information
and Engineers use that information and convert it into their knowledge by applying it in real life situations(questions in our case) and understanding deeply the concept covered in that information
Go deep into the calculations through fundamental level and find out which step meant what and why was that step taken and how was that step taken and then if you understand it and are able to apply it somewhere else thats called you have gained some knowledge
Its a fact that if you understand a concept very deeply you wont be able to apply it at first go (its in information form in your brain) you have to try and try and once you get the solution just apply the information you got in other 100 such cases and then you will be able to say my concept is clear
My point is : for a concept to be clear in such a way your instinct applies it you need to know how to apply it and for that you need to practice applying it you need to struggle to understand on how to apply it and thats what all your mentors means by saying to do hard work in your preparation implies calculation is necessary part to strengthen your concepts

One thing you missed, that the Field's medal usually goes to those who are in pure and applied mathematics and almost all the time the theories in this field of mathematics is not useful in application, that is it is not practical. And it s not that I am saying this, G.H. Hardy said this in his own book "A Mathematician's Apology". So, it is not very likely that this statement can be applied to JEE aspirants. But this is also true that the concept should be deep inside your brain and fully understood.

i want to add something....if we utilise too much time in understanding the concepts and derivations and other solution explaination stuff then we would hv very less tym in our hand for problem solving....and its true jee is a game of time we need to equally give time to explaination,concepts,qs etc een toppers dont have complete understanding if we understand 75%of topic we must move forward otherwise we would lag nd hv backlogs btw amazing vdo nd yes its also true that we need to understand depth things but i think for jee its partially true

Yes , It is totally relatable but i think under peer pressure and fear of not getting the selection i am losing this quality. One more problem that even though i learned concepts in very depth but i can recall the concept or formula in exam and if a recall it. It might have taken very much time. How to get rid of this problem
actually this same is my habit to think about physics ques even after solving it and some giving even 15 min to think and solve. and i was in regret of this approach that im wasting my preparation time but thank you. you cleared things.

This thing is cleared in 'Kota Factory '. I also feel that there is very low time to do research deeply on what we are studying in our foundation two years 11th and 12th. Main point is to gain knowledge about the topic upto that extent which is required level. If we have interest in the things we will follow them, persuing them after graduation.

People don't have interest in such things they just want their seat in good collage
They just want quick comfort, quick satisfaction, quick success with less hard work in their future
And they find a way to do so is by joining a coaching, they think in two years their life will be set
But the reality is only those who have shown *interest in the subject* since their lower classes are able to make it up under 1k rank
Its not like those whose interest showed up in 11th itself wont get under 1k the thing is its so very hard to make it in two years which others have in 4 years
(talked about JEE advance only anyone can achieve anything in Mains within two years of good preparation)

I have the same problem, I am not very good at maths and thus like to take time to solve advanced problems due to which my daily tasks were not getting done. So now I am focussing more on Physics and chemistry.

JEE is now like more of a memory game. How much you can retain in your mind with partial understanding of concepts. This exam is mainly to select engineers, not physicists, chemists or mathematicians. If for 2 years i.e. 11 th and 12 th , child studies PCM happily and play with the subjects, then it doesn't matter what kinda rank he/she is getting. It's like, studying should not be considered as a burden. It's just that India's population is high, then you have to keep exams highly competitive to select just a few. This coaching game will remain sad reality of India until or unless parents themselves do not realize that every profession is great.
