It's their biggest WHY and hunger to be in the finals that made Monza win this match. Everyone contributed and gave their best.
Monza defended like they had 6 liberos on the court. The number of improbable digs and reflex saves that they made to create transition opportunities are just insane. Well-deserved
Their coach was brilliant, he put loepky on opposite position to make better defence

@@yosephsuryoananto2117Actually, I think that the main reason is that the original opposite spiker cannot get the score efficiently.
The players of course played an awesome game, but the coach's decision of changing the entire system (with Loepky replacing Swarcs as the Oposite, and yet assuming some passing dutties) is a master work! Well done Monza, Next step has to be the Trophy!
anyone replacing Swarcs will be an improvement
i have never seen a player who got blocked so much and so hard
@@patrick07124 he wasn't an opposite hitter until after his injury. imo he's doing pretty well with the transition, but there's still a lot that he can improve.

I think we all had a feeling about this one or at least I did. Micheletto is the star of trento and ever since Sbertoli got replaced he seems not to feel so comfortable with Acquiarone's passes. And not just him. Sbertoli had to come on court with his broken finger but couldn't stay unfortunately. On the other hand Micheletto is the star of trento but he's a young boy. Under mental pressure. He knew Monza have their eyes on him and almost never left him on a single block. That, alongside the pressure from the possibility of losing prevented him from scoring more than before. Monza's defense was monstrous and they adjusted PERFECTLY to Trento's block which is usually a huge scoremaker but they were really attacking high off the hands every time. Too bad for trento's great season

I knew that Trentino was losing at 14-14, in the 5th set, when Podrascanin came out and Neli came in to serve. The worst decision of the match! Neli always misses the serve, in moments of great tension.
However, the final report of the match shows that Trentino's weakest part was the attack. In blocks, aces and mistakes in receives from serves and attacks, the situation was balanced - a single point difference between the two teams.
But the biggest difference lies, in my opinion, between the two coaches. Monza's coach, Massimo Eccheli, is, in my opinion, the most gentle, balanced, humble in the League. For him I am glad for this victory.
This is also a very valuable lesson to Trentino's new coach (Fabio Soli). Compared to Eccheli and Lorenzetti, Soli is also still young and learning - just like his team.

This game could have gone either way. Both team performed well but Monza want it more. The whole team did a very good job. I hope the finals will give the fans a spectacular match. Somehow I hope Monza prevail over PGA for a Cinderella win. Also I’m looking forward for the 3rd place battle bet Trentino and Milano.

As a Trentino fan, this loss hurts. But I'm proud of my team for not going down without a fight. In hindsight, this outcome is probably the better one as it shows the talent depth of the Superlega, plus also giving very valuable life lessons to the young superstars like Takahashi, Galasi, Lavia, Michieletto and Laurenzano (Trentino's libero).
Sometimes things happen / don't happen for a reason - it is what it is. And hats off too to Trentino's reserve setter (Acquarone). Filling in for Sbertoli at this stage of the tournament is no easy feat. I hope Trentino keeps him next season.

Im a Ran fan but i felt thry should have given MVP to either Gaggini or Cachopa. They dont get enough credit for the wins of Monza.
Each player from Monza played well at their critical point to save the set so it is difficult to choose one player in this time.

This is by far the best play of Monza.. Their teamwork is amazing.. Trentino even has the home base advantage but still it didn't affect them.. Very intense game.

Trentino is too aggressive, competitive, and tensed which sometimes makes them lose their focus and concentration. Whereas Monza is just being cool.

And i think they started blaming each other for crucial errors, while the monza team shook it off and encouraged everyone even if they committed some costly mistakes. You can see the difference in mood whenever each team loses a point.

sada cruzeiro lost to Renata-huge upset, Milano took out piacenza 3:0 in their last match, Joinville took out Sao Jose which was another surprise in the world of volleyball and now Monza took out Trento which was the most expected since they were struggling even against Modena and their level has been off lately. Definitely not the same as it was 2-3 months ago.
