Why would a LAWN GUY let this happen to HIS OWN YARD?!

- G'day friends, Sean here!
It's been too long! In today's video, I get a bit of a warm up before I head back out in to the big wide world of overgrown yard clean ups. What better place to start than, I'm ashamed to say, my own backyard!

I moved into my house 25 years ago, and it needed Rewiring,25 years latter it still needs that rewire....guess what I'm an electrician 😂😂😂😂
Welcome back, Sean. Surely missed you. Appreciate all the "good" work you do as well as the work you do "for good" to others. Prayers for much success in your endeavors.
Glad to see that you are back. The fertilizer with the dye is not only ideal for making the yard look better, it allows you to see where you applied the fertilizer, so you don't spray an area that has already been fertilizer. Something I would need. LOL.
This version of Aussie backyard bingo is missing a clothes dryer with a cement pathway!
Great to see ya Mate!
🤣
But he has the trampoline 😂😂
he's also missing a small pile of roof tiles.
Add overgrown half dead fruit trees and a broken-down rusty trailer (bonus points for Boat out of date 10+ years)
And that gigantic water thing!
Found myself singing “what should we do with a drunken sailor” near the end to that tune. Haven’t sang it since Girl Guides. 😆
me either
Me Too! 😃
As a lifelong learner, I am so pleased to hear you went back to school to learn business management. I did miss you. You are looking good.
So good to see you back, Sean. You've been missed!!😊❤😊
Welcome back Sean. You were missed. Thank you for showing that an overgrown lawn is sometimes just a sign of life.
You Aussies are so meticulous with your lawns. It shows great pride. I like that! 👍
Too right, mate; an Aussie invented the Victa rotary lawnmower from scrap metal, billy-cart wheels, and a jam tin used as a petrol tank. That's why they were a feature of the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony. 😅
@@peggyaeschlimann4180 I've seen those Victa mowers in action. They are beasts!
No they are not, or we wouldnt get to see these great videos.
I was so surprised to get the notification of a new Blade Mate video. So glad your back. Have surely missed watching all the meticulous hard work you do.
Good to see you back Sean. The world needs more men like you.
He is awesome and does fantastic work, that’s for sure. But we already have great men and women like him around the world who do great work for their home and family, their neighborhood and their community. We have a lot of groups of people who volunteer their time and hard work to help others in need. 😁
@@JMarieCAlove I agree. Modern Men are better home and family oriented.
So wonderful to see you again. Sean. As my Mom used to tell me, 'Education never ends.". She went to our local university while in her 80s!
Sean, we have to take care of ourselves in order to help others. In the two years I have watched you I believe you to be a good man, to continue doing so you must also take care of you
Wow, have I missed those exceptional whipper snipper skills, Sean! So glad you are back.
From Pennsylvania USA what a blessing to have a notification from Blade Mate Lawn Care today! It is wonderful to see you again!🙂
Good morning!
You are still the king of edges. Long live the King! 🤴🏼
Im sure you did good in whatever you studied for. You are a man with a plan. It going to be good to see more of your video's again. Welcome back Sean. Love from South Africa.
The omnipresent, pervasive and ubiquitous (but never used) trampoline!
oh this one gets a workout daily!
@@BladeMateLawnCare What does "Stone the crows" mean?
Our trampoline caught and contained “tons” of leaves and pine cones! At least the kids would clear it off/out to jump on it! Lol!
I'm very happy you are back we have missed you very much love your work and I do hope we will see you more now. I'm happy you want back to school congratulations on that. God bless you 🙏❤️🤗
As someone who is also self employed , one thing i know is , if i don't schedule myself in for work i end up in the neglected pile. Schedule yourself sean, its the only way to get anything done
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee, Sean’s back!
I hope the new machine arrives soon and delivers as promised. Looking forward to seeing it. Thx for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
My bingo card also has: rotary clothesline, huge expanses of concrete for reasons unclear, doghouse and/or dog bowl, and (the only one I got to check off) a mingy little paved path to an important location. Glad to know you are still out there eating unmanageable elephant yards one bite at a time! 🇨🇦💕
I was literally just thinking that I haven't seen anything from blade mate for awhile. Hope you haven't been getting hit to hard with the weather over your way.
We sorely missed you, Sean. It's so good to see you again. May you prosper in all your endeavors. I missed your excellent work on these lawns too😊❤
Answer: because no one is paying him!😂 Good to see a video from you Sir!
haha, word! Thanks for checking in :)
Aussie Backyard Bingo is not complete without a rotary dryer 😊 Great job, welcome back!
Yes your back missed your videos but not really because I kept watching your older ones 😀
Beautiful, Sean! You’re the best! Take care….come back soon!
Sean, so glad you are back! Your friend from Mowing For Mental Health told me what was going on. Wishing you much success with your newly learned skills. God Bless you.
Looking forward to another presentation Sean 👍👍👍
Nice to see you back.
Missed your videos helping the elderly or those in need.
Trust you enjoyed school!
So happy to find your video in my notices this morning. Missed you. Watching from Oregon USA ❤❤❤
Sean you look like a young Russel Crow today. Good to see you
Ha ha, I was thinking the same thing 😻
Hey, look who crawled out from under his Uni rock !!! Sean the Lawn Man !! YAY !! You've been on my mind as of late. There is George of the Jungle down in HOBART that could use some extra hands, he's had some nightmare yards recently. Kinda far to travel to cut some grass and take out brambles and bushes. Hey I thought Tim the lawnmower man was the only one who used grass dye !! Welcome back Sean.
Glad you are back, Sean! At least you know what's in your own backyard! No surprises.
.. Bingo
5 Revealed path to clothesline,
6 Outdoor clothesline,
7 Deck (very nice one).
It's Great to have you back Sean, nice job/video 👍 It's a satisfying feeling when you've tucked another bit of knowledge under your belt, I wish you lot's of success with it 🍀
Have a lovely day Sean ❤
Glad to see you taking care of your own. And all those Backyard Bingo checks would apply to most of the Californian properties I've worked on in my time as a gardener 😂😉
Where's the clothesline!? 😁
Seriously, it is so great to see you back!! The lawn looks great!
Sean, you help so many others and it's not right there's nobody there to help you when you're in need. Hope all is going well for you and you gained the knowledge you were seeking. Good job man!
Love the thumbnail 🤣. Hope you're well mate.
Thanks! You too!
Hi Ryan
I hope school has gone well. So proud of you making the decision to go back. My hubby teaches at a college where most of the students are not traditional kids out of high school. They are students usually go to improve upon what they are doing/ or want a better career opportunity. 👍😊
Hi I'm the mechanic who asked you this very question a few months or so back! Thank you so much for sharing this now I don't feel alone! Have a great day sir.👍👍😁
A little learning never hurts anyone! 📖 👍
👍👍🏆🌿Jana 🌿👋
I was having Sean withdrawals. Glad you are back.
Welcome back, Sean! Hope schools treated you well.
Your yard is beautiful!! So glad you’re back!! Keep doing what you do!! 😇 = YOU!! 🙏🏻❤️
Glad you got the schooling you wanted. A lot of places the outdoor workers were struggling with waterfall. You have a nice little yard and it looks good as you get it polished back to normal. Pleased you gave yourself the treat of some lawn dye along with fall fertilizing. Nice trick of using a piece of cardboard for a shield while spraying. A smile worthy project. Best wishes.
Good to see you back Sean. Take care.
When I grow up I want to be like Sean. You’re the man my friend, I love everything about your videos and you. Your attitude and demeanor is the best. Anyone who lives with or around you is a blessed person. Keep it up my friend!
😊 nice to see you again Sean!! Great work on the lawn. I love the green fertilizer application!!
Thanks for filling my bingo card with that hose information! Love your videos!
Oh how I have missed your lawn care cleanups and you of course.
haven't seen you in yonks. welcome back
Welcome back Sean. I have missed your videos and so nice to see even your lawn gets out of control. Your videos have taught me a lot about lawn care. For the first time in my life I have an actual lawn and I am proud that I have kept it green and healthy. Thanks for all you do in the community and the sea shanty. Love hearing them and the 1812 overture.
Carpe diem! Sean is back from successful academic journeys and we up here in northern Vermont had perfect total eclipse viewing! Fifteen to twenty thousand people flooded out town of five thousand for several days! Excitement on both sides of our planet!
So good to have you back with your unique sense of humor and sharpest edges in Australia!
Welcome back Sean, hope you're doing well gonna enjoy this one.😊
Missed your videos!!! As usual you made me smile too!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I absolutely love watching your videos. I live in Mississippi USA and look forward to your videos. I have missed you so much. Can’t wait to see more.
The pile of bricks bugged me before you mentioned it 🤣nice result Sean , cheers🍻
Back yard bingo... love it! So good to see you! Hope things with school are going well! 💚💚
I was thinking what in the blazes is Aussie backyard bingo ...... then I went bingo! it's like shit in the fourth draw in every Aussie kitchen! It was great to see you back Sean!
Aussie Backyard Bingo has to include a walkway to a clothesline😊
Bloody Lawn Dye! Genius!
Hi Sean it's great to see you back. Well done on your studies. We both like watching from Scotland. The transformation of the gardens is awesome. Well done 😊
Ahhh, that'll make the missus happy too, I imagine. :))
Hey❣️ Missed you big guy, I’d forgotten about you going back to school. Never wrong when getting an education. Well, it didn’t take you long to whip your lawn into shape. That’s nice that the lawn dye has fertilizer in it. Great product. So glad you’re back. 💚👍
One thing you don't want on the 'Backyard Bingo' card is canine landmines... Hills hoist and an overgrown path to it is always a winner as well... And the BBQ is an Aussie bonus, sometimes on the deck, sometimes not... Good to see a new video Sean...!
I had to laugh at the Aussie backyard bingo. I grew up in Alaska, so here's what I’d look for in Alaskan backyard bingo (more true in rural Alaska, but you will find many of these items in suburban Alaska, too): 1. at least one dead car or pickup truck, tires optional (bonus points for three or more dead vehicles). 2. something covered in a blue tarp (for example, a firewood pile, or maybe some salvaged timber from the deck you rebuilt three years ago, but it'll still be good for something. Could also be tires on rims-we have winter tires with studs for when the roads are icy, and summer tires for the summer, or what we call “road construction season”). 3. a trailer with a couple of snowmachines on it, or three- or four-wheelers in the summer. 4. an old refrigerator that's been converted into a salmon smoker. 5. in the summer, fishing poles and a landing net leaning against a wall next to a pair of waders. In the winter, a snowblower and shovel for clearing the driveway. 6. A rack of moose or caribou antlers. 7. A tinny (river boat) half full of water and grass growing out of it. 8. a motor home or caravan that's not roadworthy, or as we call it, the guest room. 9. Dog kennels (at least nine, for your sled team). 10. A garden with raspberries, rhubarb, and strawberries. And finally, 10. A small visqueen greenhouse for the cannabis plants.
Glad to see you taking care of your own home. You work hard and take care of others and you very much deserve a cared for lawn & garden to enjoy.
Look at you rocking the lovely curly hair ! Great job Sean! Hope you’re back with more soon! You’ve been missed ! X
Glad to see you back in action. Don't lie you had to mow so you could get back to the trampoline and work on your "routine!" Looking good, and we all know how 'life gets in the way sometimes.'
I’m glad to see back!!
Your introduction was so true. I had a builder whose skills were phenomenal. His work was so perfect one day I had to go pick him up. He lived in a square very plain cement. house yet this man built archways over all my windows with incredible design did all the crown moldings in cement the whole of my staircase. I wouldn’t call him a builder. I would’ve called him a sculptor. Yet his own house nothing not at crown, molding not one sign of the beautiful things he could make
Ah, what a pleasure on a Sunday morning to find a Blade Mate video! I have missed you and your videos. Kudos for going back to school. I hope you and your family have had a good summer.
Welcome back Sean. Thank you for sharing what your lawn looked like you gave it "the treatment " as always a great job.
Good to see you back. Ty
Oi ! Que bom vc de volta com vídeo novo . Espero ver mais vídeos gosto muito bom domingo e ótima semana a todos vcs abracos
Welcome back, Sean.
Is it a requirement for all Australians to have metal fences, garden beds, and trampolines? I swear that the majority of yards I see you do, including yours, has at least those three items!!!
Again, good to have you back. Congratulations on finishing school.
Love the "Aussie Backyard Bingo"!!! I was mowing today on my farm here in Virginia and I had everything on your Bingo!!! But I also had to mow around 1. Old riding mower that doesnt run 2. Stack of metal roofing that needs to go to the recycling station 3. Random pile of dirt with tall weeds that must be weedeated and 4. Old goat shed covered in last years weeds that nobody wants to go near.
I also coiled my hose.....🤣🤣🤣
Haha!
Multiple BBQ's and random log stump need adding to that Bingo list. :D
So pleased you are back Sean. You were certainly missed. Best mower man ever.
At least you knew where the pavers were! Good to have you back Sean!
Welcome back, Sean. I have missed you.
Good to see you back. Enjoyed this video.
Bonjour Monsieur. Je suis contente de retrouver vos vidéos,vous m'avez manqué. J'adore votre façon de travailler. Vous ne voulez pas venir en France ????👍

Great to see you again! Congrats on finishing up the schooling, I'm sure it will serve you well in the future. And you can always let the grass go again when the new equipment shows up. It's not like it's going to stop growing, amirite? LOL
Nice to see you back mate 👍
Looking good, Sean! Missed you.

Welcome back! Aussie backyard bingo should also include BBQ, shed, and stratco fencing 😅
I hope your school schedule isn't too hard. Love to see little updates - hope all is well! We miss you Sean! Perhaps you can borrow the remote control mower Tim the Lawnmower Man has and test it out on the back yard? 😊
Ha, well that company reached out to me and asked if I wanted one!
@@BladeMateLawnCare ooooo that would be an awesome video to try it out and see what you think. 🤩😍
