When you pour that footing set the blocks in the wet concrete. It’s much stronger

Glad someone knows something about homogenous loading.
Especially seeing as that foundation wasn’t scratched or dented so the new concrete or mortar couldn’t bite into it.
May aswell have just laid it on hardcore.

Guys can this work be done in a day for a wall length of 15 m? I mean first by drenching, then placing wet concrete and then placing bricks above it?
Also if we place bricks above bricks won't the level keep changing when we place the second layer of bricks over the first layer as the foundation is still wet concrete?
      Please help guys.

Interesting to see how things are done outside of 'Murika. Why is it felt that the two end pieces need four vertical rebar rods, and the rest of the wall doesn't need any? I'm not saying it's wrong, just wondering why.

      A) No architect in this century measures anything in feet and inches.
      B) If you’re building a wall yourself, it’s unlikely you’ve been anywhere near an architect.
But yes - better to build to block size than be cutting / breaking bricks.

      A) Well then you obviously dont live in north carolina. Even the Hispanics who grew up using the metric system prefer using feet and inches here. Nice being able to add up dimension strings in your head without having to deal with repeating decimals. If you cant appreciate the awsome superiority of our based 12 imperial measurement system then I guess you never learned how to do arithmetic without counting with your fingers or cheating with a calculator.
      B) I almost forgotten what made me write up that shitpost last year. Think it was one of my megaknob CC profs telling me that It was fine for the class to design the cmu for our BS final design project with non modular dimensions or something. Idk, all Im sure of is that he was the type of guy who seriously thought that 2/3 made a cleaner and better fraction than 8/12.
