PoB doesn't have new transfigured gems & I am not too interested in trying to psuedo configure the pob to simulate the damage, the damage is good but i have no idea how much.

For more information on the build archetype check out my scion from last league. TLDR scion can scale higher with giga gear & has option for mageblood in super late game where as inquisitor gets damage a lot easier but won't scale as high in terms of ES. I was going to min-max this build further but got a little sad about bug with adorned so I decided I'd rather make some more builds then stall and wait for them to bugfix the jewel.
Could we get an updated tier list on the transfigured gems?

For mageblood on either character how does the coruscating elixir get effected? Can you swap off of balbala
Fun facts: I was also doing some testing with ball lightning of orbiting, and if its linked with return proj, It actually bounces off walls

Thanks so much for all the updates on this build. I'm struggling like you said might happen to do maps right away but slowly getting through yellow and just enjoying learning about the build. The flame blast bane setup looks cool I think I am Going to set that up.
Damn! this vid is really educating! I am playing your cyclone+firestome coc energy blade and at first glance and experience, i thought this build is quite painful to play in early game without proper items, although you mentioned this disadvantage point in your pob, but sadly I'm korean so I missed that info. Haha anyway, now that I have some unique which is essential to this build at mininum level, I became suddenly powerful and tanky and I am slaying 16t map + league content without difficulty, and this is pretty satisfying. The funny thing is, there are so many things left in my character to make it resemble to your build like over 12000+ eneryshield and gear. So many things to do left! I'm quite excited and I feel motivated to play game. Thank you so much for introduction of your build.

Thanks for this build man, as a 1.5k hours casual that doesn't want to think much while playing the game but still wants to enjoy it, I cannot say how much I appreciate people like you. Was happy to see when you switched to stormbrand of indecision because it meant there will be some flexibility with the build :)
i always want to play a variety of classes to try out new stuff also cant make my own build cuz im incompetent and dont know how to build optimally on the skill tree and scale, but this build is teaching me so much. I also love that you can just use virtually any spell at your disposal. still only at 4k ER with energy blade on at lvl 82, but at this point the experience is pretty smooth early into the atlas
I just want to say, an equaliser like this that is "play whatever spell you want" is exactly the utopia we've wanted from the game balance passes for so many years. Thanks for giving us this one for spells for a few months.

@@LinkOmega1 but melee has this aspect by default, which is why they had to start restricting skills to certain weapons
@@LinkOmega1rage stacking voidforge. Its not every attack per se cuz it has to be usable by a two hand sword but you easily hit 20m dps with everything with it
@Zylosio damage isn't the hard part for me, defenses are.
Awesome for instrument of zeal ! Btw, You can also go on the mana scaling route, requires sanctuary of thought or radiant faith jewel but it allows for aegis in your defence ;)

Iplayed this last league, one of the funner builds out there. Spellblade support made it incredibly strong

Doing a version of this kinda on Chieftain for the Hinekora explosions. Instead of scaling energy blade, I decided to focus on being as tanky as I can be, since the Hinekora pops pretty much oneshot anything they pop I don’t need insane damage. I was highly inspired by this build and your lifestacker build. I’m pretty new to the game but this league has been insane. Never thought I could get above 10k ES let alone 24k xD
is the POB in this description the good one? or the one from 2 days ago while you were leveling? the 2 trees are completly different?!?!
What are you thoughts on using a corrupted ele weakness on hit and getting the charm that gives you cursed enemies have a 10% chance to explode? I love the brand, but the clear is meh.
Hey have you tried messing around with Lightning Conduit of the Heavens? I've been using it in the CoC Cyclone version of your build and it's been a ton of fun!

Since you appear to be using blood magic, like the stormbrand build, when do you pivot off of res efficiency from Warlock of the Mists? I feel like 50% life efficiency is nice, but since we already have a bunch it may not be worth it for very long? I kinda figured we'd have some serious aura stacking potential especially with the spectres.
Idk I'm still on storm brand of indecision (it's pretty fun but could use a lot more aoe for clear) about to do the blood magic pivot so I'm pretty far behind. Sanctums have not been as profitable because of the server issues, losing half your resolve to lag when your nominal ping is like 10 sucks.
attribute scaling with charms is better than %50 efficiency, you can fit in maybe one more aura but that is it
the damage increase taken from consecration ascenion point scales with consecration effect.
How do you get defenses on this build? Ailment immunity? Or are you supposed to play glass cannon and use cast on death -> portal?

Instead of Blood Magic you can socket more auras with Arrogance Support and still have other auras with reserved mana? Or does that screw something up?

Hi CaptainLance! great build love it to bit I'm having some issues with not being able to cast till coruscating elixir or frost blink is used again, do you know the cause of the problem makes mapping a little irritating when it happens (the problem only occurs in maps)
Try changing from predictive to lockstep in game options.
Actually old bane now has 20% inc curse effect on quality, so basically - its 95% curse effect overall if you have no curse effect elsewhere and has more aoe.
I would go with QoL over 7% more damage at this point.

Yo captain can you makes is a pob basicly explaining from start to finish how to progress the character from ground zero to hero how you are right now i saw one of your colleagues here doing like progression videos about flicker strike characters if i didnt watch you from the very beggining on the legue start i couldnt understand how to progress him and why the respecs and why the upgrades and when im gonna hit a wall you know much respect i watch you everytime since dellirium legue and that kind of pob is pain in the ass but for you as an experienced poe player would be rather easy to make and get us plebs to start thinking a bit thank you in advance im glad this legue that i started storm brand and i wont be swapping anytime soon 😅 i hope you can make us a unique type of pob with gear progression and talent tree progression aswell

What are your opinions or what should be done to make this a cast on crit build? I was looking at making something like this but wanted the comfy CoC build style.
He has a recent video for a version that is CoC I think.
Check his league starter vid from a few days ago, really good start, as far as skills, there are a ton that feel good, firestorm is ok, eye of winter feels decent, bladefall, etc, the nice thing is once u have ok gear, you can just slot in a lvl 1 gem and see how it feels.

I'm sill on the CoC version and it's amazing as well. Arc of Oscillating has much better clear than firestorm but similar single target. And when you have twinned or a map with multiple bosses it's just that much better simply because it's arc (and the split off property of oscillating can go straight back to the first target I'm pretty sure).

@@valjohnson7112 the recovery could use some help, but it doesn't fall over in one hit as long as you just skip the wildwood (but most builds are doing that anyways).
Using frostblink and just holding the key down when in a large group like expedition helps to not be where the boosters are attacking. It also tends to start killing stuff that's farther away thanks to arc.
It's sort of a "kill them first" build, and if you aren't careful with rolling your maps you'll end up needing most of the 6 portals. I've gotten into a pretty comfy strat of expedition, blight, heist caches, and harvest.
Edit: forgot to mention, I'm doing fine damage in low red maps on a five link, that's how good Arc of Oscillating is. I'm planning to try out a couple other transfigured gems, but I don't expect them to be better.

Pobb is kinda confusing but its probably a me issue since there are no gems setup for a famage skill which i assume you just left fully empty to allow people to make their own, but just having spell blade support with placeholder gems would be more clear if thats the proper usage (i cant open in path of building atm ao maybe everything works properly in there)
Edit: i think i understand it a bit better and if so yeah Soulrend of Reaping may actually be legit. With 400% effectiveness of added damage its gonna be ludicrious. Starting console league start soon as WoC ele but this will be my goal build :)

Just saw ur league starter guide on the coc energy/spell blade. what is very nice detailed what is perfect for me as beginner. still seems to be hard with that coc stuff. This build looks a bit easier, but not detailed pob. Is there a easy wy to transicion to this build from the coc build?

Love the Spell Blade Build but was wondering if this build can do any content with chaos damage (maybe I overlooked some passives) but since you reserve all life won't you get oneshotted by chaos damage?

It is kinda squishy until you invest a lot (I assume, I never got there). Lots of people playing it so everything is expensive
Hi, i've been following your build and I am currently at lvl 90. Is it normal that the build has really low armour? mine is around 4k+ total and I die alot specially with the porcupine goliath mobs when they die and explode to spikes.
How are the defences on the character? Can you do a bit of face tanking? Would this be a good uber uber elder farmer?
There are no defenses other than ES scaling. You can’t face tank but damage is certainly high enough to shred UUE.
Maybe a silly question but how to league start this :D? Any way or better to fund this with some other character? I just love self cast and meele in general :(

I'm playing the coc version and this is my favorite build ever. I like builds where you can change your main damage spell! The other one I enjoy is generals call.

Amazing how someone gets 30% stat and 70 crit multi Wolfs Eyes on second day, and The Adorned on 3rd, without actually farming. Not even counting sick rings, but those probably can be sniped on first day from ppl who dont know what they do.

Does anyone know what the transfigured gems in his boots are? In the POB hes got CWDT and Spellblade, I think one Transfigure gem is Void Sphere, but I cant tell what the other one is. Does anyone have an idea?
its funny all of my Divs have come from the league's venders. +37 Str and Int, 7% increased Str Charm from T5 map

It is a massive multiplier on loot in maps, blue + yellow shots out Currency like there is no tomorrow.
But love the build playing the CoC version, flows like butter throw maps

How to you mitigate chaos damage with such low life and no mana as a buffer?
Maybe i'm not understanding the zealots oath/eternal youth interaction but is this supposed to end up with low ES recharge outside of leech? Never played a build this stacked on ES that felt completely terrifying to run through spikes in lab
so the idea behind the es recharge on life and the regen on es, is that you're casting stuff through your life, if you're perma recharging life you'll never run out of life
meanwhile es needs some form of sustain so regen is a good way to go about it, any regen works on es so it's great for sustain
How do you deal with resistances? and where cast and move speed coming from? I tried to build it but the character is slugish af.
it seems that this is a bosser, his pob has 0 or negative resistances...

@No_OneV to cap res you need:
Bismuth flask with 20%quality and high roll res suffix (35%+)
Brutal restraint of balbala for Traitor
1 decent res mod of cold and lightning on gear (like 25%+).
That, along with the passive tree, caps your res as long as you remember to press your flask and enchant it with "reused at the end of this flask's effect". Traitor will keep it near permanently up if you're sitting in HO, so in combat you're fine. Also have Coruscating Elixer with 20% quality for fire res.
The other replier likely imported and didn't turn on flasks. They're permanently up in combat from traitor + enchant.
