Pronouncing little, potato as liddle or podado is done by the Americans rather than the British.
It's called glottal stop.
Wat a princess u ve got

This girl is well set-up to become a good journalist or TV shows worker. đđđđ
Beautiful woman ur dota took after u
She looks like Ammarachi đ
I just met a new neighbor. She is Nigerian. I found it odd that this young woman had a Queen's English styled British accent. I hadn't realized that she was feigning a British accent. I have been around Nigerians my whole life, and this was the first time I heard anyone speak like this. She left Nigeria at 16 and spent 8 years in the US Deep South. I quickly learned that she was contrived in other ways. This video was my first in several checks to see if I was on to something. Glad I popped by, and great video. Very happy and positive.
Nigerian accent nothing like true british accent
Oh father Lord, I need a daughter like Diamond đ„°đ. Sheâs just so brave and confident.â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž. I love the bond between you both.

You're actually the first person I've watched that pronounced words the way we pronounce it.
Who r we name the place.
Yeah. Others make it sound too hilarious. Maybe just for fun and also to bring out the contrast more.
Most people make fun of Nigeria by using the pigin English accent. It makes me cry all the time cos in Nigeria thereâs a difference between pigin and proper English
Ooohh ma'am your dimplessss are so beautiful and your daughter looks lovely too
i really loved this. your daughter facial expressions makes one forget all the problems facing Nigerians as a whole and make us see how amazing children can be and the joy they bring to our everyday lives. Keep it up Beautiful people.
You have the greatest type of mother, who supports and includes you
That was so funny. Your daughter is too cute
Thank you so much sis â€
Your daughter's hair is looking very healthy! She did an excellent intro!!đđđ I just love to see you enjoying quality time with your kids so important!!

The T always seems to be missing when them Brits talk đđđ..Funny funny..you two are hilarious đ€ŁđđŸ
đ€Łđ€Łyes I don't know they m8ss the T lol tfw my dear sis
Interesting. I think its important to let it be known that you represent the Yoruba race.Nigeria is not monolithic as you are well aware . You can imagine if a Hausa person were to make those pronounciations. This is important because you are giving information about Nigeria .
Why won't the girl try some Yoruba also.is a pity she proudly lost her identity
Bree-ish you mean?
The T's are never missing
I guess the Tâs went on holiday in Britain

Good job mummy and daughter, u r
Really funny and u add a lot fun to it that make it interesting
Wow! Really interesting to watch đđđ now I know that, there are correct and shakara pronunciation, and the sharaka one must not be spoken infront of the teacher đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I tell you sis đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Abi
Why not? What is wrong with the sharaka that it must not be spoken in front of the teacher? Talk U talk n don't let the asshole them condemn it then it will be forgotten.Who invented it don't wipe out the ancient way of speaking use it when U don't want them to understand U.But be wise learn the English also. And U will be able to understand the condemners n the condemn.
You two have a unique bond.

O wow your daughter is GORGEOUS!!!
I can understand Nigerian way better than British đ
facts
I know :)
Nigerian is not a language
Sameđđ€Ł
I don't get this generalization of 'Nigerian accent' The country is a multi tribal nation with multiple accents. The woman is using her native Yoruba accent which quite different from Igbo or Hausa accents. So pls be well informed!
thanks for giving.your daughter.those.kinda.beauty.genes
That's right my nigerian sister,,we pronounce every letter. HOS-PE-TAL,, that's hospital
Funny enough pronounced as *hos-pe-tle* or *hos-pe-tal*
We are just soo confused in Naija
I love the fun experienced and mom and daughter. I love the video
We Nigerians have a way of mixing English language and Education together which is wrong and uninformed. Learning a language is quite different from having a formal education. Speaking very good English is just the same as speaking very good Spanish or French. Remember Chinese, Germans, French, Indians and others who had their formal education in their indigenous language. If you meet them outside and they canât communicate in English, will that mean theyâre illiterate?
Well this is a response to what the mother said about âpronouncing THREE and learned peopleâ
We have bunch of brilliant people in Nigeria who canât speak good English but theyâre doing great in their tasks and I also know lots of British and Americans who canât speak/write a complete sentence correctly in English (where would you group these set of people)??
Okay I love you guys đđđI'm watching this for The first time n I'm laughing
O my God.... I can't stop laughing over that radiator part ooođ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
You are so beautiful. I laughed a lot. Thanks for the video.
I like how in the very beginning you can see the top of a kids head wandering byđ„°đ
Beautiful video. What an amazing bond between mother and daughter. U are blessed. Keep it up.
nigerians actually speak old northern english accent which was the upper class accent then. mordern english uses the southern accent which is new for upper class.
Exactly!!!! The standard remains the standard. This recent britain's generation has a lot of glottal closure which allows the T to get missing. The IPA won't accept glottalization.
I'm blown away. Love you Becky. đđđđđđ
I really enjoyed this first one, great video, Nigerians pronounce some words very similar to us here in Guyana in SOUTH AMERICA XOXOXOXO.!!!!

I am a Caucasian American actor and this has been so eye opening and helpful. Excellent stuff, lovelies!
Your daughter is beautiful... I like the connection it so real......
The Nigerian accent threatened the British accent at the point of "Bottle". The lil Angel wasn't even sure of her accent at that point. Thats the power of the Nigerian accent
We prepare die! We are highly educated
This girl's laughter is everything đ€Łđ€©
Little, bottle, radiator, leaving out the "t" depends on the "region" I believe.
In America the "t" sound like "d" or "r" but it also depends on the STATES.

This is hands down the most fun blog Iâve watched in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too funny!!!!!
In terms of the " T " , The Nigerian accent is more coreect. Cos what the Nigerians pronounce with the "T " is the standard accent of English. All what she did is correct but that is called "Tapping" in English, kind of slangs, stylish and impatience to speak correctly and so it became accepted in English. English tapping is even padonable as it is only T and D in some cases, But Germans tap even the "CH" and more. So This tapping is what i will say the English stole from the Germans... In an international submit or meeting, you can't be stylishly tapping your words like that all the time and again, if she were a British singer and she sings with those tapping accent, don't think she will have any fan and not even the British fans... your mother spoke more correctly with those "T" words and not because i am a Nigerian.
all british singers sing like that
@@maame6768 you lied. Which one and which song? British singers have the clearer English accent than Americans when it comes to singing especially in terms of tapping avoidance. Every "T" and "D" sound u hear when they are singing . Only when they are talking is different. Check out Pink Floyd, Adele, James Blunt and westlife.
@@destinedtosucceed5907 little simz, jorja Smith, nao, tianamajor9 (really does), all the black male artists
@@maame6768 don't know these names u called to be great British musicians. I am talking about great successfull British singers. Not the modern days British Rnb or hiphop.
Go listen to the singers that made Brtish music: Like Elton John, cold play, Lighthouse Family, Seal, sam smith etc. Don' t call the Hiphop or rnb artist. Cos these ones will be immitating American accent.
@@destinedtosucceed5907 britain would only recognise its white artists as great though wouldn't they. If you want to fall in line with that it speaks volumes. They are young and up and coming that isnt an antonym for great. The ones you mentioned dont pronounce t either they sing with american accents so...
Love you guys , that radiator part was very funny
How old is she? Sheâs acting way older than her age
Expect that from child their parent has much time for even when what they call you for are not necessarily necessary
HaveYourWay 1984 How is she acting older than her age? Is it because sheâs laughing and having fun with her mom? I genuinely want to know. This just looks like a beautiful mother and daughter relationship to me đ.
