I was 19 when I heard about crazy school shooting and here we are 44 years later still horrified by another pointless tragedy to start the week. Why?? A great song though.
This is that song that makes you want to just sing your heart out of sadness, frustrations, disappointments, and anger towards yourself and the people around you for being unfair, unjust, irrational, and merciless. Yet, it's downstraight candid, frank, and poetic.

I was here! It was an amazing surprise, my friends and I couldn't believe it, I don't know if it sounded better or worse than 1995, it was super amazing, the only regret is that he didnt sing Always in this concert... The rest was top
The fact that this song is about one of the first school shootings, and by a girl, which is particularly rare, makes this song really important to me, so that we don't forget the long, tragic history of school shootings, and the often meaningless reasons for which these heinous acts are committed. "I don't like Mondays." Can there be any more meaningless reason for shooting up a school yard and killing people randomly. And yet we continue to live through these horrors regularly, because we haven't learned the lesson.
Bob may have always been known for this one song...BUT, to this day...there's still yet another musician who's able to pull off what he did with Live Aid.
Eu não acredito que estou vendo ess e show! Lembro de quando comprei esse CD e ouvia essa faixa bônus, me emocionava. Hoje, quase trinta ano depois, ainda me emociono. ❤❤❤❤
I literally just figured out what the song is about because someone said it in the comments of another video and it’s so sad. It changes the whole song.
Did they also mention why it was written? It seems like it's about Brenda Spencer's answer to the question, but it's quite opposite. He wrote the song for the question. Bob was inspired because he thought the person asking her why, was asking a ridiculous question. The theme of the song is that there are no reasons for pulling off such a horrific act. There's no justification, so any answer that gets returned won't help anyone understand.
@@mgordon1100 Wow, I wasn’t aware that was why. It really is a tragic and deep song. He couldn’t have been more correct when he wrote this song. I just hope maybe one day people will think more. The people doing it, on the receiving end, and even bullies or instigators. The recent tragedy in Uvalde reminded me of this song. Once again we all wonder why but, as Bob said, no answer is adequate or reasonable.
This made my whole body vibrate while singing loudly and pissing off neighbors lol. 2 fucking awesome legends singing a legendary song..wow man that's amazing 👏🙌
Except for the people who were killed and injured at the school by the girl who gave the answer as to why she did it... She didn't like Mondays....kind of depressing.

It's a true story as well. 😢 She's in her sixties now and still in prison.
Yes, it needs to be brutal to get the point across.

The original song about school shootings. My dad used to jam this tune all the time on the one wild night cd 💿

Jon Bon is oblivious that this is a song you don't smile during - despite how kind Sir Bob is to him. Stick to bubble gum rock Jon.
Bon Jovi saying, "That's a legend right there!" Maybe two legends.......
Pp
Definitely 2 legends
And the year is wrong, was un 1995
