Boy, oh boy, Richie Sambora's solo from 6:02 to 7:16 is just stunning. I will forever regard him as the most underrated guitarist in the world. Had Jon Bongiovi not been so damn strict in his management, Sambora would still be in BJ. Remember that all the other band members are in the employ of Jon Bongiovi (rather than five equal members; instead, they are like contractors), meaning JBJ gets rewarded way more, and his word is law. People have already spoken out that the new documentary series is rife with lies and that it paints a far rosier image of the band than insiders know it is. Also, Jon Bongiovi should stop singing altogether because he will never be the singer he once was. I've seen them live, and my take on it is that Richie Sambora carries each song into heaven because, without him, JBJ's voice alone makes for poorly sounding songs that don't highlight the emotions he's singing about. Add Sambora's softer, passionate voice and boom, you see, hear and feel the emotions portrayed in the songs. Yes, Sambora left the band in a crap way, but he had to if he wanted to remain true to himself and be a real father, as Locklear was not real momma-material.
