- Now completely flattened and no longer existing, the home of well known hospitality businessman, Mr Tommy Brown, lay here abandoned after he passed away in 2018. Strangely, a huge amount of belongings are left behind...
To whom it may concern: We do not break an entry. Should we be unable to gain access through means of getting through an already open space, we walk away. We take nothing but footage and leave nothing but footprints. We are storytellers portraying the tale of an abandoned place, some locations depicting a sad one which may leave some viewers passionate or disgruntled. We mean no disrespect to the locations we visit or the people once connected to them.
We enter derelict structures at our own risk. Civil trespass, also known as "simple trespass", is not a criminal offence in Scotland. Police get involved if there's a possibility that an offence has been committed such as refusal to leave (breach of the peace), fire, physical damage or theft etc all of which we avoid as that isn't our intention. Speaking of which, we are of course not responsible for those who get into bother by visiting any of the places we've been to nor do we encourage it.
In the event that anyone posts negative, close-minded or ridiculous comments, they wont be approved and you will be blocked from future commenting, so don't be a dick and waste your time.

That's another one of the mysteries unfortunately, whether he died in the property or not. But we have since learned from locals and people who knew the family well that Mrs Brown lived in the home up until he died in 2018 and moved out shortly after to move down south next to her daughter. We can only assume that she took the essentials of what she needed and left the rest behind. We have also just found out that it was youths from St. Brides High School who initially trashed the property.

the pictures of the girl in that photo album is me. we loved so far away so my grandparents never got to watch me grow up so we always sent them photos up, seeing all this is really strange
I am Thomas brown’s(the old owner) granddaughter and this was the house i grew up in it was kinda my home away from home. Me and my family lived down south and we would come up and visit, swim in the pool, it was a lovely house, always such a buzz in it. In 2012 Thomas got a rare cancer in his abdomen, they told us he had 24 hours to live but then live another 4 years later, in 2016 he passed away in that house, and his wife( my grandmother) came down to live with us, down south. Me and my mother have both watched this video and to be honest it is a real shame, that house is filled with memories and is a place so close to my heart. It is now being used as a haunted house, being filmed to put on youtube for amusement and being broke into, it’s such a shame.

We can confirm, as can be seen in the video, that we personally did not contribute to damaging any of the property during our visit. Sad to see the human condition we are just what we collect as we go through life eh? be it a house car pictures. memories all gone. That place was someone's love and joy at sometime now landfill.
So sad the guy probably worked his ass off to make it a nice home and some little bastards broke in and destroyed the house

Great place looks creepy during the day bet that's well creepy of a night, such a shame it's been left like that with so much still left there, with someone still alive why didnt they take some bits to a charity shop. I find it interesting seeing personal items such as photographs. We live in such a celebrity / social media saturated age that when I see pictures from decades ago printed in books or displayed in galleries , or private family pictures like shown here, I'm intrigued about who these 'ordinary' people are / were.

Yes, it's only a wrecked abandoned house until you oddly find photographs then it becomes a home. A lot of folk perhaps downsizing or moving house do prob leave a certain small amount behind, but certainly not photo albums surely etc. It fairly creates a mystique about the place. Thanks!

Just went yesterday - demolished now. A few records, casette tapes and DVDs laying around. The stuffed monkey was still there and a stuffed horse? Photo album was also there! Most interestingly the owners American express card was sitting neatly on top of one of the toys as if someone placed it there for others to find. Strange.
The whole building structure is completely flattened now? All rubble?
@@DeviantDiscoveries yes! After coming across your video, I stopped myself from watching all of it so not to ruin the experience of exploring it myself. Already knew it might be demolished from your comments, and when I arrived that was the case. But it was confusing because i couldn't imagine how everything fit in what seemed such a small space! But obviously, the foundations etc have all been removed too, so without this video you aren't able to really work out the layout of things. Was fascinating returning home and watching your video, like finding the missing piece in a jigsaw puzzle haha

I was at that house yesterday and I'm guessing that you came around earlier on. The police have been up there recently and I reckon it'll be roped off in a week or so.
They'll need more than ropes to keep people away from that place. We were up last Saturday. Went on Friday but was full of teenagers hanging out drinking and smoking.

This was a few weeks ago. Maybe a month. The site is still standing but apparently all fenced off now to stop folk getting near it. Probably started demolition. Who knows.
Sad isn't it I went at the start of lockdown to see what it was like. Didn't damage anything though. We tried to figure out how deep the pool was by putting a stick in it was very deep. Did you find out what was in the room just down from the pool ?
What room do you mean? The one with the stairs in it? It was just old belongings and junk everywhere really ...
How did it smell inside there? I’m guessing pretty bad.....
Believe it or not it didn't smell at all! The place has sadly literally had every window smashed and almost every board pulled off that it allows the air to really flow through and around it. So it was fairly pleasant!
