DCG909 I plan to go sometime next year. Just want to know, I hear people always saying, Japanese culture is xenophobic. Did you experience anything like that while you where there?

Didn't experience anything like that, maybe they socialize less with foreigners, but I don't speak the language (yet), so I haven't really tried.
The ones that speak English (and that is less common than one would assume) are extremely helpful.
Even got some information from someone trough a google translate (yay for offline wordbooks :), though google isn't always really correct :/ )
