Hey, thanks a lot for these great videos. I am about to buy a speaker here in Australia after owning the original Aura for a while but now having to replace and considering again the original, the Aura Studio 2, or the Aura Plus. Can you tell me which one you are using in this test please? Also are you playing through Airplay on the WiFi network or Bluetooth because that would make a difference for your tests? Lastly have you tried a Marshall Stanmore speaker yet?
The Problem with the Aiwa is that it may measure to 30-35 hertz ,but usable output is just from 40 Hertz and up. For example: My 10" Woofer also measures to around 30 hertz, but the Bass still sounds much fuller and deeper than on the Exos 9 .The Reason for this is the 2,5 times bigger Cone area compared to the 6,5" Woofer. The Aiwa is nevertheless the best portable speaker for 300$.
I agree, the real useable is over 40HZ on the AIWA, STILL one of the lowest HZ rating for any speaker in that category. Thanks for watching. My new fav speaker is the fluance Fi70. In that case size does matter. lol.
When a manufacturer says that the speaker is rated between 50 +20 Hertz, it usually means that the difference is between 10 decibels. A excellent flat system should be 20-20 within 3 decibels. without knowing the decibel difference among frequencies the test is not really instructive.
hello, you're right. This was just a quick simple bass response test based on my own hearing. IT's still relatively accurate, but not exact. thanks for watching..
hey man!! ahahah, GOOD ONE!! I do love the nitro Rc's, thats for sure. Thats why I put it in the background of this video, ahaha. I mainly do only RC videos now btw.
I have a question even though this is an older video, I’ve been looking at these two just for music and I’ve noticed all the bt speakers I’ve owned can’t hit low and long bass notes and that bothers me, which one of these would work better without turning it up really loud?
First off, can you tell me which speakers you have owned, I've owned too many at this point and can probably guide you to one you'd love. But honestly both of these can hold bass a long time, they are powerful enough. In general though the bass in any speaker no matter what anyone says is not the best at more than 90% volume, pointless to go above that.
hybrid32494 okay I’ve owned a jbl xtreme, but I didn’t like it because the mids weren’t great and the lows didn’t really keep going, I like a nice smooth flow and then a bumpboxx, too high of treble and the bass wasn’t very noticeable until up over about 50 and a few bose speakers, but I’m more looking for a speaker than can be at 40 to 50 and have super nice mids and have a clean sound with low enough bass to where it will keep the bass rolling even on the lower frequencies, but I can’t tell to much on videos what speakers do that well
I hear ya, I usually love listening at around 50% volume myself and expect good bass there. My best recommendation would be to get the AIWA Exos-9 because its a lot more powerful than the JBL extreme, and costs 300 bucks. Plus you can use the built in EQ and adjust the bass, I have mine set to about 75% of max bass setting. Thats really the only way to get more bass at lower volumes.
Skelpolu I havent posted this on any other videos, that isnt me doing that. Im not paid to promote anything, this is my own speaker, and i have 1500 views of this video. Do u really think 1500 views would get me promoted lol. Def not.
yes, I listen to the aura most of the time, but the aiwa is much more powerful of course. Diff speakers though. I would say they are both at the top of their own class for the price and power output.
the aura is Wonderfull, agree. The omnidirectional sound is my fav. Although the aiwa is much more powerful and rechargeable. I really appreciate both of these for diff reasons. The bass of the aura is very even due to the down firing 360 degree sub, so placement of the speaker is not as important as the aiwa.
for those of you asking where to get this speaker, Amazon has this for a great price right now, check this link and get one..

Please compare aura studio vs kliosch the three
Hi! Could you possibly do a test with the aiwa exos-9 and play some music that is bass boosted?
yes, I will try to record such a video soon for you. thanks for watching.

Awesome👍🏼
thanks!!!
How long lasts the aiwa exos 9 battery at maximum volume .......
I bet you the most power full sound on this video is the nitro car behind those two speakers..

FYI. this review is not apples-to-apples in size or spec.

Thodio XC sounds MUCH better and is MUCH louder. I have tested them all
not on amazon, and it cost over 700 bucks. and can't find the specs for it either.
You are posting this literally on EVERY single aiwa Exos-9 video. Paid to promote much? Piss off.

Dumb kid

HK Aura just killed that box. Is it a coffin with buttons?
The Aura is just a miracle to great sound.
