A year ago, I flew to San Francisco. It was the first time I had ever traveled alone, and that also meant this was the longest time I've ever been alone with my thoughts. I've always struggled with dark thoughts, and I was reluctant to share this story because it felt too heavy. But I thought it might be important to make people feel heard, to write a song that doesn't tell you "everything's gonna alright", because sometimes it won't. It's important to acknowledge our pains because it's only then do we also find the joys. Just like how we structured the song, don't end at the bridge, go back to the start. #KeepGoing

3 years ago I almost jumped off a bridge and ended my life, I'm not gonna get into details but I'm glad I didn't. Why am I saying this? because I realized that the exact questions on the lyrics are the same questions I asked myself back then (maybe up until now I still ask it sometimes ahhaha) and wow this just brings back memories but not in a negative/triggering way, this song feels like a 'hug' or a 'tap on the back' telling me that heeeeeeeeey you went through all that and you're still here!!!!! so if you are reading this, I just want to tell you that it is okay if you are not doing fine at the moment but hurting yourself will not make things better. Your existence matters, please keep going : )) p.s SIR MARTTI PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING MUSIC, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE🥺
