Yes! get everyone involved early. That's what mum made us do, it's shocking how some people ,especially dudes, never got any damn house training. Mamas need to get their sons involved too.

Yes it's so annoying mine just collects his paper clutter piles everywhere.
@@paolasoltero53 Same here. He actually scolded me for, get this, putting his tablet back on the pile in a position where it might fall. It was already in a layer of dust but God forbid if I touch his stuff!

We do the basket at the bottom of the stairs but not the empty hands rule instead you can have a basket for each room/person. There's only me and my son in my house so he has his basket wich he puts away after school every day and I have a basket wich is always empty so I just put in anything else that isn't my sons but needs to go upstairs. Super easy, doesn't have to be thought about, Works great.

I had 3 sons. My husband and I taught them how to do everything. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, how to fix anything that needed it. All 3 lived on their own until they were almost 40 years old. They did eventually get married. Household tasks are shared by all in their homes. I get to spoil grandchildren now.

My toddler takes joy in undoing thr toy basket in the living room so I moved it.... and then he undo everything else like my bookcase 🙄
My little guy is 3 now! And I just put everything in baskets to make it look neat. He takes everything out of every basket 😂
And a messy husband? 😢
