    man, I have been replicating the steps in this tutorial for a while now, and every time I get to the 'follow me' portion, the quarter-circle plane will just not rotate around the axis. all kinds of weir box shapes pop out of it.

      your quarter circle is not centered to the bottom circle

      right click on tool bar at top and select the EDIT option... follow me icon will be appear with the other push icons

      It works.,,, easiest thing to create on sketchup. Check your lines are connecting and not floating in air. It cannot sweep around if your line work are not connected properly.
