This is a really good edit bc it makes the movie seem like something it’s completely not. (Seems like a nice happy movie but it’s the complete opposite lol)
You'd think seeing this movie would make an addict want to stay sober but in some weird way it makes me miss the chaos and rage. There's a really weird comfort in it or maybe its just my bodies memory of being high.

It's still mad they made a movie on the reality of the darker side of society and paired it with a theme that is just as hard hitting with Lux Aterna. It's the perfect hit of reality, and many can't even watch it again. It's easy to wrap oneself in their own greed and selfish way, but this is reality. We have those with chemical addictions that are losing. Big pharma doesn't give a sh*t about what happens. If they did we wouldn't be in an Opiate crisis that hit straight after Afghan, funnily enough. Afghan is the biggest opiate supplier. Dr's hand out all kinds of pills people don't even need, but what they don't say is what these pills really do. Heck even Dr's don't fully know, either that or they turn a blind eye. These pills transform people in the brain through their nervous system, and all of their receptors change due to the drug. Some dependencies aren't wilfully started, but are down to the users' actual body changing. It goes from being treatment to a need for legit survival. Opiates for example at certain doses, going cold turkey kills them. This is how much of the body changes. It takes over moods, it takes over the very being you once knew and loved. To the outsider, they can't see why, they apply themselves to the situation rather than the reality. Big pharma is turning people for profit. It's been destroying lives and families for years. It's rare that those who are under its spell get out to tell it.
