You can use the face tracking even with the native camera app mate.

@@TubersFunFam Like what kind of problems? I’m considering returning the ISteady X2 for the V2 for my IPhone 12 Pro Max. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

@@Dulcilady because the phone is too big the transition from landscape to selfie is not smooth most of the times. I really like the gimbal and the face tracking is great but there is stronger gimbals for the iPhone 12/13 pro max

You can access Ultra Wide camera in Android and IOS as well.

Setting - Camera Icon - 2 lens option to choose (Wide & Ultra Wide)
My S21 Ultra with no case has clearence and no issue in Inception Mode.

My only problem with this gimbal is that the face tracking is not working for me. When I enable it in landscape mode it pans down to my chest instead of my face. When I do it in portrait it seems to go to my shoulder and keeps me off center of the frame. I thought maybe if I upgrade the firmware it would fix it but I can't find firmware for it and the support section of the Hohem site doesn't have the gimbal on there at all! Disappointed because this thing is so great with its light weight and I really wanted to have the face tracking on my native phone app which it does do.

Hohem informed me that Samsung s21 plus is compatible with both their new Gimbals I steady 2 and v2. I sent isteady x2 back within 24hours . Hated any low angle shots would go crazy trying to reposition itself.

What about if a small compact camera could be used with this gimbal? Maybe it would require a back small counterbalance and special way to get attached, but if something like an RX100 or ZV1 could be used with this gimbal, that would be absolutely amazing!
