- Margaret gives a really excellent account of her womb (uterine cancer) which should surely receive more attention nationally. she mentions how she was struggling with emotional recovery, asking "why me?". She talks in details about the importance of families and caregivers and about being open and honest about cancer when talking to family. Margaret mentions peer support; support groups and work colleagues and also the quality of medical and psychological care. Margaret worked as a complementary therapist so she, more than anyone else, can vouch for the importance of complementary treatment. She talks about the benefits of complementary approaches such a reiki, and acupuncture and aromatherapy.
